Welcome To The School Of Bonding! (Chapter 1)
-
Goldmyth skipped alittle, “I don’t think so. Just a story to scare the kids. And, that black feathered dragon..Mhmhmm..I do not like him.”
-
“M-my name is Ace Lee” he said and he devoured the power bar after saying thank you to Genie “Umm how much is breakfast? And is there something I have to do to get a room?
-
“Perhaps,” Liv shrugged, and toasted her other beagle before shaking her hand getting rid of the flame. She finished her first beagle and started on her other one.
-
“…Maybe you’re right.” She eased up a bit, relaxing. “I’m way too tense. I blame all the mystery novels.” Piper looked up at Goldmyth, who was considerably taller than her, “Really? I’m pretty sure everyone’s gonna try bribing him into being their familiar because he’s a mythical creature. Did you know he is equivalent to three familiar’s worth? Insane.” She shook her head with a sigh, following suit of making a small flame and running it under the edges of her bagel too. “Dang! It burned.” She said sorrowfully.
~~~
“If you’re in this school you either had a scholarship, benefits, or paid a lot of money to get in. If you hadn’t noticed, our school is very…wealthy and glamourous, if I don’t say so myself.” She pulled up his name on file, nodded, before closing the scroll and moving over to her desk to get out a unlit torch and pointed a finger out that sparked a flame. The torch burned gold until she sprinkled something in it to make it shift green. “In our school we use a point system as to how much you can buy in one month. For clothes, food, and other items. If you’re wondering where we get our money from then, know that we are a school that is necessary and old. Higher ups, crone witches and so forth mostly support us.” She held the torch to him and handed over a slip of paper and pencil. “Write your name on the slip of paper before tossing it in. The torch will put you in the place you belong this year, as its green flame is connected to one within the school that act’s as the heart of the school’s magic.”
-
Ace wrote down his name and stuck it in and out popped a slip of paper that had the number 109 on it “I’ll check my room out later but right now I want to get some breakfast is that okay?” he said holding his stomach slightly as it growled again.
-
“Yeah, but he has an attitude, like a nasty one. Kinda snappy.” Goldmyth fixes her hair and smiles.
-
She smiled, getting distracted by Goldmyth’s pretty long gold hair. “Can I braid your hair?” She asked, sounding like that one girl at recess with mad hair skills back in first grade.
~~~
“Yes, of course. I’ll lead you there. We were on our way to the breakfast room already.” She checked her watch. 7:45 AM. “Hurry, the tour will start soon.” She led him down the hall into the breakfast room where most of the students were no longer in line but sitting and eating and chatting. “I’m gonna go talk with the staff. And Ace, smile more and make eye contact. Your cat eyes are rather exotic. People here will like them.” She smiled with a wave before taking off.
~
-
“Sure! Do one big braid!” Goldmyth smiles and pulls her skirt down cause of boys staring at her butt.
-
“Alright!” She throws a glare at one of the guys staring, protective of her new friend, before standing up on her toes to gather the hair together. “How about a side fish tail braid?” She asks, beginning to section the pieces of gold locks.
-
*Liv pulled a little piece of her beagle and burned it before levitating it and flicking her finger at the weird boys. The burnt piece of beagle shot across and ricochet off their foreheads leaving black crumbs on their faces*
-
Goldmyth kinda jumps in her seat, “Yep! Yippy! I have never had anyone put my hair up or make it fancy!”
-
“Great-!” Her voice breaks off into a laugh at Liv shooting the piece of bagle across the room. “Nice.” She began to twist the hair back and forth, her nimble fingers working quickly. “Let me know if it gets too tight.” She murmured, a smile still on her face as she twisted the hair down the girl’s back, slowly finishing up to make sure the ends look nice. “Okay…now let me just get a hair-band…” She reached into her school jacket’s pocket to pull out a miniature small light brown ringlet of a plastic band to tie it off, being so small and blending with the golden hair it was not even noticeable. She pulled it out a bit so it was a bit more sloppy looking, but in a nice way. “There. Done.” Â (Ok it looks like that but with blond hair okay. xD)
-
“No problem!” Piper hugged Goldmyth back, glad that someone finally found a love for hair like she did. “I’ll do you guys’ hair whenever you want, and if you like I can do it for the Winter Ball, too.” She grinned. “I think the half-romantic up-do would look nice on you, Goldmyth,” Piper turned to Liv. “And don’t think you got out of this, Liv, I’m thinking of a curly side ponytail half-up do twist? We could put emerald pins in to compliment your eyes.”
