“Yeah. You wanna grab a bagel to go?” She asked, turning to look and raise her eyebrows at her friends, almost as if asking for permission to come with them.
-
“Do you think I’m allowed?” Ace says as his stomach growls again “So what kind of magic can you do?” Ace says as he has his shadow go and get him another bagel and orange juice. “I never thought that would work it never has before. Awesome!” he says as he takes the bagel and orange juice from his shadow and it returns back to the floor and reattaches to his feet.
-
“Of course.” She smiled, and moved over to the table they were originally at to grab her apple juice. “I work with darker magic. Necromancy, Shadow magic. I dunno I guess it would be a bit weird that someone like me does that sort of magic, but whatever. Stereotypes are stupid.” She smiled at his shadow. “I also see you practice in a similar art. Hey! Goldmyth, Liv, meet…” She put a hand forward for the mystery boy to say his name.

Groups of smaller size had gathered before a teachers went and rounded the smaller groups into large ones before leading them out. A woman with black hair and a dingo for a familiar moved over to the group of three girls and one boy, bringing a crowd behind her. “All right, come on you four. We’re going to tour the school so you can find anywhere to where to buy clothes to a quiet place to study. We will also show you places that are strictly forbidden, so play close attention please. By the way, I am your vice-mistress, Ms. Claude.”
-
“Oh umm I’m Ace” he said and looked at the other girls “Okay lets go” he said hearing the teacher and waiting for the other girls to start to follow the teacher.
-
“Nice tae meit ye Ace,” Liv smiled before following the teacher.
-
“Cool. Ace.” She grinned at him, before moving forward to follow Gold and Liv. Ms. Claude led them out into a hall with the torches from a few days ago lining it. Except now they glowed a bright gold. Taking the students up two flights of stairs she led them into a entry way to a library. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the left wing school library.” Books flew from shelf to shelf, putting themselves back into their alphabetic order. “Here you can do research on the magic course you plan on majoring in and study late nights.” She let the students fan out and look around a bit before snapping her fingers and making the entry way to the supplies store in the library glow. “Over here you can buy supplies. Pencils, pens that never run out of ink, telegram paper to send letters back home since your phones don’t have service here, if you hadn’t noticed,” She smiled at a girl who gasped as she checked her phone. “We prefer not to let any distractions come when you’re searching for your bonded…”
-
“Same.” Piper laughed.
“Mr. Orthelo, our second year upperclassman, will be working in the libary here at night.” Ms. Claude said, waving to the stocky red-head boy behind the counter displaying hamster erasers and winged pencils. He didn’t even bother looking up from the book his nose was jammed into, labled “Alchemy for the fittest”. Instead, he waved a bit almost like shooing them off toward the end.
“Alright, if you’re all ready to move on…”
(Do you guys want to time skip over this and just mention where they headed to? This might be a while.)
-
Ace looked at with excitement Piper “We get to meet our bonded here?” He continued to follow the teacher “So what are you looking to major in… umm I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name.”
-
“Well, I’m sure not literally in the library is where we’re going to meet our bonded.” She laughed a bit, looking over at Liv. “And like you said earlier, we have all year to find our bonded. Although, I would prefer to find mine sooner…It’ll be trouble for the plans I have for later.” She smiled knowingly, hoping her friend got the reference. “And I’m Piper. Sorry for not telling you earlier. Slipped my mind.” She followed the teacher out into the hallway. “I really don’t know right now. I mean, shadow magic and necromancy comes naturally to me, but do I really want to go down that path? My mum is a marine biologists…she’s a master in water…and my dad is a doctor…as you may think, he masters in healing. They’re both so light compared to me, who seems to be becoming a darkest major.” She looked them unsurely, “What do you guys want to major in?”
-
“Well I want to get stronger in all of my magic but I can’t choose what to major in just yet” Ace says making eye contact for the first time with Piper “And Piper you have beautiful dark eyes you don’t need colored contacts to make them pretty they are beautiful all on their own”
-
Piper snapped her fingers. “That’s right, you were reading that shapeshifting book earlier. That’d be pretty cool to be a witch-shapershifter…except other shape shifters call you a fake, but I say if you can shift then do it.” She grinned lopsidedly. “Well, I suppose that would be the way to go. Unless you were doing shadow magic and light magic, the two would eventually get no where because of all that energy in one body…Aw, thank you Ace.” She smiled gratefully. “But my features are all a bit too dark with the hair and all. Its nice to have a pop of color.” She ranted, the girly-girl emerging in her again. “Besides, they also aid my seeing without having to wear bottle-thick glasses.” She chuckled as Ms. Claude led them up another flight of stairs.

Alchemy room, Destruction and sparring room (basically the gym), the swimming pool for water majors, the obstacle course for bonded (which some were actually going through the course and it did look a bit complicated…), basics of magic polishing up class, ‘what path to take’ class. They went through all of the rooms, popping in and saying hi to the all to bright teachers or ones who slumped around in dusty rooms barking at anyone who came near the threshold. By the time they’d gone through all the rooms and squeezed past oncoming groups in tight corridors…one student nearly falling off the tricky stairs that would at times go invisible just to mess with you…they finally came to the Auditurium around 12. “Alright, here you are, forms for every one to fill out what classes they want to be in. Please remember that if you see any classes you would be taking at a basic magic school feel free to take them here so you won’t have to do so later.” Forms of papers floated through the air to students rolled up as they filed down the rows in the auditoruium, where Ms. Vine was already up on the stage with a display of classes beside her and basics on what they did.
(Okay. So I’m going to actually make a ‘example of classes sheet’ but if anyone wants to make up classes to better suit your character’s course that’s 100% okay.)
