Welcome To The School Of Bonding! (Chapter 1)
-
Lilianne looked up, tangled hair hanging in front of her face. “I’ve always heard them. Always. My mom hated me for it. And now, there might be someone here who can help, damn i-” She bites back the swear, continuing. “I Â can’t control what I hear. Even if someone isn’t talking, their voice is in my head, can even talk to other voices, like I’m some kind of meeting ground.” She snaps bitterly, the sentences coming out in a clipped tone.
—-
“Oh, yes, I forgot.” He scans the scroll, using his wing to brush across the page as a place holder before he found his name. “There. Ignis, room (I’m not sure because I don’t know if they share the room with  their bond?).”
-
“Name? Board?” Her interest peaked when she heard ‘witch and wizard’. One of mine, then, she thought referring to her race. Now things were personal. “Julia and Quinn, was it? Ah…Let me see here, she beckoned to one of the scrolls and had it drift into her open awaiting hand. “Julia…and Quinn…There’s Julia Blackmore and Quinn Blackmore, both graduated at different years, but…um…Julia Redwood and Quinn Redwood. Oh, but that was a long time ago I doubt they have any children. Julia Hartfeld and Quinn Hartfeld attended here, I’ll have to look deeper to see if they graduated…”
~~
Ms. Claude smiles, “Well that’s what we call ‘wild powers’. You’ll need to learn how to control them, I can put you into tutoring with someone, although I need to find someone who masters the subject…Pleas follow me. For now, we’ll need to find an alternative so you won’t go bonkers.” She laughed. “We’ll take you down to Miss. Daisy to get a charm for you. I’m sure she will have something that will ease your mind and block the voices out. You know, I understand how you feel a bit. I am an illusionist, so there were times when I would manifest my own nightmares accidentally. It gets better, don’t worry, you just need to stop ignoring these powers and dominant them.”
~~
(Familiar rooms will be shared with other familiars unless they’re very large animals and require the space. However, when bonded they have the option to move in with their bonded.)
-
(Ignis is a pretty tiny animal… wonder who he should share his room with?)
“I’d trust your advice over any of those damn shrinks dear mother used to send me to.” She looks back up, feeling slightly better. “It really sucks when someone’s,” She raises an eyebrow, using quote fingers. ” ‘Private’ thoughts get in your head. Especially when they’re about you.” She shudders, shaking her head in disgust. “Trust me, Claude, I’m loooooooooooong past bonkers.”
-
(How about Aurora? She’s not that big either although I cannot remember her room number for the life of me.)
~~
Claude laughed, patting the girl’s back sympathetically. “Well, you can finally kiss those days good-bye, Lilianne.” She frowned, “And I never seen the point in shrinks. If you ask me, it’s just humans subconciously trying to take the place of medics of witches’ potions, charms, and other healing tonics. ” They stopped at a room that had a gate instead of a door with vines with pretty flowers woven around the iron bars. Ms. Claude pushed the small gate open to a classroom with rows of long brown tables rather than seperate desks, and a few steps up a fancy caldrun that looked like a dragon’s hand and a work bench painted bright yellow. Miss. Daisy hummed as she came from the back room, holding a cardboard box of bottles filled with…things. The younger, almost teen-looking, woman smiled brightly at the sight of Ms. Claude and Lilianne. “Come in, come iiin! What’s shaking, ladies? Here for a beauty charm? Oh, but why might I ask? Your both already so beautiful.” She sat the box down, flipping her wavy ginger hair to show off her doe brown eyes.Â
“Actually, Miss. Daisy, we’re hear for a charm that will stop voices from entering this young student’s head. I know you have something for illusionists accidentally manifesting things, I imagine you have something that can help her?” Miss. Daisy tilted her head before looking at Lillianne. “Come here, fair girl! Together you and I will make this.” She giggled, opening her arms toward Lilianne and squeezing her hands open and shut as if the most excited to be of help.
-
Rea frowned again her irritation causing wolf ears and a tail to pop out. “They graduated, lady, and their familiars were fine, and then one day all four of them were gone!” she let out a huff. “Can you help me or not? It’s been seven years, took me forever to find this place.”
-
“I’m not beautiful.” Lilianne states bluntly, gesturing to Claude. “Yeah, um, what she said.” Geeze, Daisy had a lot of energy. “Yeah, yeah, sure, let’s.” She nods awkwardly, pushing her brown hair behind her shoulders and striding forward shakily.
—
(Leeeeeeeeet’s just pretend he said Aurora’s room number.)
-
“Oh dear. Your parents have been missing for seven years…that must have been extremely stressful. Well, then, I’m sorry it took you so long to get here and I may be able to help your predicament, Miss. Hartfeld, but it will take time. Even if your parents were transformed to werewolves the main tower of witches and wizardry should have some information of their magic usage type on file every other year. Until I can get that information, I will need you to stay at the school as you have become my responsibility. I was fond much of your father and mother, and I’m positive they would not approve of me letting their only daughter out of supervision again.” She tilted her head, “You are the only child, correct? I imagine if you had any siblings they’d be here staring me down with those bright eyes as well.”
~~
“Fantabulous! Now, for mental issues the base ingerdient dragon’s eye, the most insightful ingredient there is for mental issues…” She grabbed twine off the table, running her finger’s across it. “Perfect, here’s the orge’s skin, which will bring strength and power to the block…” She slipped the shiny, green changing to red dragon’s eye on, before moving on to smaller teeth. “And the block will be the tight, mist wolf teeth as you know, they never let go of their pray once snagging it…” She strung the teeth onto the troll skin rope-twine, “And now pixie wings to have a lasting effect…” She strung those on, as well. “Oh! And lavander to bring relief at night.” Daisy slid stud sized pouches of lavender on before tying the bracelet around Lilianne’s wrist. Surpriingly, the dragon’s eye and mistwolf teeth were smooth, and the pixie’s wings like paper. “Now we seal it.” She murmured, powering energy into the bracelet with her eyes closed to help hold the bracelet together for a long time, and also dumping her peace of mind–of not hearing voices constantly–into the bracelet. “Okay!” She smiled, opening her dark eyes again, and when she finished a tingling feeling should have run up Lillianne’s arm, to her head where it would have numbed the voices down to nothing. “Now look at this every time you hear voices–which it should wear off every half an hour when conscious, and the effects should take place again of being free of other’s thoughts.”Â

Ace walks over and starts petting him “Wow he is soft” he says chuckling at what Piper said “man it’s been awhile since I have tried lightning magic got anything you want me to zap?” he asked the group.

Monty slithers outside and sees the group and slithers over to the tree that they are under and climbs it and lays on one of the branches.
-
“I’m pretty bored too.” Piper sighed, crouching down beside Goldmyth. “Uh…I dunno, nothing that will get hurt.” She shrugged at Ace, completely oblivious to the snake slithering up the tree otherwise she’d probably freak the freak out.
-
Rea shrugged. “I had an older brother, but he went out on the full moon trapped in his wolf form and got shot.” she said it nonchalantly, but there was hurt in her voice. “That’s why I’m coming so late. I had to steal his body to burn it, or his spirit would’ve been trapped. And… I can’t stay here. I won’t fit in, and you don’t have the facilities for a full moon with me. I haven’t got it quite under control yet, the wolf.”
-
Ms. Vine laced her fingers, her eyes watery. “Oh, I’m quite sorry you suffered such a loss after your parents, and-” She shook her head, as if to clear it when her voice broke. “It is even the more reason you stay. We may not have the facilities to for your transformation…but we can make one.” She cleared her throat, “Miss,” She leaned forward. “There are…tunnels beneath the school. Catacombs, if you will. However it is strictly prohibited that you take anyone else other than a teacher down there, or even speak of it with other students. The last thing we need is them digging around down there.” She grabbed a pen, and a map, and circled 3 entry and exits to the catacombs. “One is underneath the tricky staircases. You know which stairs these are because they will change their direction or go invisible. Their offical term is ‘illusion’ stairs. There should be a small wooden door into the catacombs there, hidden by a trick tile on the wall…Another is a trap door in the girl’s bathroom, under one of the sinks, and similar to the boys’ bathroom though I doubt you’ll go in there.” She grabbed a pen and paper and scribbled out a note. “For the entry under the staircase no spells are required, however the girls’ bathroom needs a ‘unreveal’ spell to find the trapdoor. See Ms. Claude later for unrevealing dust since you haven’t been practicing magic, I take it. When is the next full moon?” She straightened up, a determined gleam in her blue eyes as she handed the note. “We will not leave any witch behind. Werewolf blood or not.”
-
Rea took the note, nodding. “Three days. I’ve been keeping track.”
-
“Well isn’t that lovely. I guess we will have to kick into high gear.” She sighed, and grabbed a piece of paper. “While you’re here, try to blend in, please. You have witch blood so it shouldn’t be hard. We will teach you to the best of our abilites what we can. Think of this as learning more about your ‘witchy’ side and perhaps finding a familiar…although, I’ve never had a werewolf-witch in my school so you would be the first werewolf to bond to a familiar.” She handed the girl a pencil. “Now, Miss. Hartfeld please right down your first and last name and through it into this fire.” She grabbed a torch stick, and genie blew on it, making it flare up with gold fire. Ms. Vine sprinkled white dust into the fire making it turn a bright toxic green that seemed to eat up the whole room’s light.
-
Rea did as she was told, tucking her ears and tail away. “Now what?” she asked, still holding the note she had been given. “Should I go see the charms girl?”
