“I don’t know. I never saw. They destroyed my grove, I wasn’t there when it happened. So many humans have trespassed on my grove. They never cared about things like me.” I said.
-
Dipló’s left head growls softly as it looked at Zhangxi, “Did you help destroy her grove?” His right head turns and snaps at the left, “I am the one asking the questions so keep your muzzle shut!” The left head lowers and growls at the right and says something in ancient greek before going silent. The right head snorts before looking back to Lissa, “When was it that you died?”
-
Zhangxi blinks, a little baffled at Dipló’s self-argument, but decided to try and adapt quickly, “Um, no. I don’t really know what you’re talking about.” He let out a quiet tense chuckle, “I only died a couple months ago, so all this is still a little weird.” He glanced back towards Lissa with a sympathetic look in his eyes, “…Sorry…” he murmured, “Humans killed me too, if that’s any conciliation.”
-
Dipló’s ears go up on both heads and they look between the two before looking to Zhangxi, “How old were you when you died?”
-
“17,” Zhangxi responded, “Don’t think I’m 18 yet either, though I guess time doesn’t mean much when you’re dead…” He trailed off, holding his chin in contemplation.
-
Dipole’s right head turns back to Lissa, “He was to young when he died so he couldn’t have been one of the ones to destroy your grove.”
-
I shook my head. “He Might not be bad, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to trust him immediately.”
-
Diplo nods, “Makes sense.” He turns both heads towards Zhangxi. “If you wish to live while your here they you better stay close and listen.”
-
Ligo slowly circles lower, trying to listen into the conversation.
-
Zhangxi looks at Lissa, putting his hands in his jacket pockets, “Of course, I don’t expect you to trust me right away, it’s probably a wise habit not to trust give trust to anyone.” He said with a slightly stern look look in his eye. Zhangxi turned to face Diplo again and nodded, “Ill listen, though Im not sure how I can die again.” He chuckles softly to himself.
-
“Anything is possible in Tartarus.” Diplo’s left head says to him before he looks up hearing someone yell. When he looks back to Zhangxi before growling and tackling him pinning him under his large paw. He lowers his left to him, “Play dead.” He says softly.
-
Lissa jumped, looking towards the yelling. She turned to Diplo. “Do you know who that is?”
-
Diplo’s right head looks to her, “It’s Okeanos.” He speaks under his breath, “You best hide so he doesn’t get suspicious.”
