The RolePlay
-
Torrad smiles and looks at the woman, “My apologies for offending you, m’lady. But it’s not every day something climbs in those trees! You need to be really light, strong, and agile to do that…like my sister.” He holds out his hand, “Torrad Melkolfson, at your service, m’am, and I will gladly show you to the village if needed.”
-
Swarine lightly smiled and jumped down, shaking his hand,”That’d be nice, actually. My name’s Swarine, if you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to ask me.”
-
Torrad smiled back at her and felt her grasp on his hand, “It would be my pleasure to guide you, lady Swarine,” He says, slightly bowing. “This is Nole…Nolegs?” He looks around, his dog nowhere in sight. “She may be guiding that child…” He turns back to his new comrade, “So, where in the village must you be first?” He asks, already walking in a direction.
-
She followed close behind,”Actually, is there a shop around here? I wanna see if there’s anyone I can share trading tips with…”
-
Torrad smiles and gives a hearty laugh, “Well, we could go to Liv’s woodworker’s place…or I could just let you speak to my sister.” He holds up a finger, having an idea, “Or I could find the main square. A lot of trading happens there.” He looks back at Swarine, “Your choice.”
-
“Can we go to the woodworker’s?” She asked while adjusting her cloak,”I’ve actually heard a lot about the woodwork around here…”
-
Torrad nods and smiles, leading his new friend over to the woodworker’s shop. He knew where it was, having followed Anna there so many times and acted as a pack mule. “So, Swarine. What village are you from? You seem to be new here from what I can tell?”
-
She remained quiet for a moment before sighing and shaking her head,”I’m from one of the old kingdoms before they were broken up… I suppose you could say that I was the princess turned into a theif.” She glanced at the shops,”Yeah, I’m new to this whole region, actually….”
-
I nod and look at you closely, “Well, outsider or not, you are always welcome in my eyes, traveler.” He chuckles a bit to himself, “Besides, being a thief is more fun that being a princess. A thief knows good skills to survive, while a princess normally does not, and would die mere steps outside of the walls of her kingdom.” He looks over at her, still smiling, “If you require a guide, I could do what I can, but after the Thing. Nobody can miss the Thing.”
-
Swarine arched an eyebrow and asked,”What exactly is this ‘thing’ you speak of?”
-
Torrad walks along and lets out a loud, happy laugh, “Hahaha! I have not heard that joke yet friend. I am glad to have found someone with a sense of humor…” He walks over to a woodshop, opening the door. Inside, was Liv at the counter, and another woman who seemed a bit older than Liv, with long brown hair and green eyes.
-
Swarine sighed and adjusted the strap of her bag, not looking up until she managed to put on a smile,”Hello!” Her eyes slightly widened,”Hey wait a second… you’re that girl i ran into at the forest, aren’t you?”
-
*Liv raised a brow at the sight of the clocked woman*”Awkward”, she whispered to herself, and once again fell back with a thud.
-
Torrad’s smile grows on his face as he extends his arms, “Anna! Dear sister, I didn’t expect to see you here!” He says, obviously surprised.” The green-eyed girl goes up to him and embraces him, “I had to get some supplies for the hunt.” Anna breaks the hug and looks at the girl who was with him, “Who are you?” She asks, looking the girl up and down.
