“She was a good shield maiden…”, Liv said and started to cry, she turned away and slowly put a foot out in an attempt to walk, she dropped to one knee and struggled to her feet again, Liv stopped her self from crying and clutched the chain, she gave up and plopped down in the snow.
-
-i make my way to a roof as i sit their watching around-
-
Torrad wiped the sweat from his brow as he walked away from the farm, Anna taking his place. He got Nolegs and wandered through the town, his axe still sheathed on his back. Nolegs barks at a nearby place, “What is it girl?” He looks up at a roof and hops back slightly in surprise, “AH! Another damned monkey!!”
-
-i growl a little at you as i flash my more dangerous swords at you-
-
Torrad growls back at the man, Nolegs also doing the same, baring her teeth at the mysterious man, “What are you doing up there?”
-
Swarine nodded and knelt next to Liv,”Its OK to hurt every once in a while, you know…” She lightly smiled and asked,”Do you want to see something?”
-
-i stay silent as i jump down hidden behind a mask as i stick the swords in the ground growling at the two-
-
“Huh?”, Liv said confused as to what Swarine would show her.
-
Nolegs barks, drawing the attention of a few townsfolk. Torrad stares the man down, “Look, lad. We don’t mind outsiders.” He brings a hand to his back, holding the axe, “But if you’re looking for a fight, we won’t go easy on ye!”
-
Swarine lightly smiled at her friend and helped her stand,”Come on. There’s this cool place I found while exploring… It’ll be our secret hideout, OK?” She grinned and led her through the forest, and stopped when she came across a cavern that was hidden by the hills. She walked inside its gaping mouth and chuckled,”I think I had too much time on my hands.”
-
“Yeah”, Liv smiled weakly still clutching her side.
-
She pointed to a bed at the end of the room,”You’re welcome to rest there if you need to.”
-
“I am good”, Liv said smiling then slipped on cave mud and fell on her back.”Ok, not ok!”, she said in pain, and quietly stood up again.
-
Swarine sighed and helped Liv over to the bed,”Be careful and get some rest. You could really hurt yourself doing things like that…”
-
*Liv was so exhausted from loss of blood, she instantly went to sleep*
