The year is 971, Scandinavia. A earl rules his tribe of farmers, shipbuilders, and warriors.You live in the service of the earl, you do what he says. If you do not, you will be punished. Every summer, warriors, men and women alike go on the annual raids, they do not fear death, for if they die, they shall be sent to Valhalla, legendary hall of the gods.

“Huh?”, Liv said turning around and looking around.

Shaking her head, Swarine lightly smiled before sighing and waving goodbye. She began to walk home and stopped when she saw someone laying on a bench. She approached them, and smiled once she saw it was the guy with the awesome swords,”What are you doing out here by yourself?”

*Liv shrugged and waved when Swarine left, she walked slowly back to her shop playing happy songs on her Ocarina none she had mastered so they were ragged*

“im doing what i do best being alone and being peaceful on this beach why.” -i say still staring at the night starry sky-

Swarine arched an eyebrow and replied,”Now that I think about it… I don’t think I’ve introduced myself properly, have I?” She shrugged and smiled, holding her hand out,”My name’s Swarine. You are?”

“im Kai nice to meet you and how might you be.” -i say realizing my mask is gone as i jump and pull my hood all the way covering my face- “dont look at me im ugly that why i have a mask now where the fuck is it.”

*upon arriving at her house/shop she closed and locked the front door, closing it for the night, she slipped into the back and kicked off her boots and undid her braid, took off her blood soaked clothes and put new ones on the same color apparently, she then set her Pendant Ocarina on the table in the space and flopped into bed falling asleep in a matter of minutes*

Swarine shook her head and sighed before replying,”I’m doing fine… I don’t care about looks, y’know.” She jumped onto a tree branch and hung upside down before smiling down at him,”It’s what’s on the inside that counts, right?”

“you dont understand i hide my emotions under a mask i dont want people to see my face thats why i always fave a mask.” -i run around with my hood and hands covering my face as i run to my house and i grab my spare mask before coming back and i look at you- “their better.”

Swarine sighed and rolled her eyes before jumping down,”Whatever.” She smiled and glanced at the sky,”I better be getting back home. It was nice meeting you, Kai.”

“well sleep nice in your bed ill be here when you wake up.”

She nods and smiles before walking off towards her house. She unlocked the door and walked in, closing and locking it behind her before going upstairs and plopping down on her bed. She was exhausted…
