The Voicelands could either be considered a region or a small country based on its size, but it houses a vast enough cultural diversity that it could be considered a continent.
The areas and settlements that appear within the Voicelands are a result of a manifestation of the dreams of those in the VoxSharp Clan. Nobody knows how they get there, but since the content of these dreams is usually beneficial, nobody really complains about it.
The climate varies across the region, but in general it’s sunny in summer (July) and snowy in winter (January) as you’d expect.
The currency used is gold (g), silver (s) and copper (cu) such that 1000cu = 1s and 1000s = 1g. Occasionally platinum (pt) is used to denote 1000g, but only informally. There’s no coin for it. Other currencies are usually accepted in most tourist spots.
The primary language spoken is English, though many schools teach other modern foreign languages so most of the population can somewhat accommodate foreign speakers.
Religion is currently undergoing change in the Voicelands. Many of the popupation worship local deities (such as the Voicelands Phoenix of Phoenix Peak) but are starting to get to know of other religions and deities around Skyrie.
Travelling to, from and within the Voicelands is easy. Several train and bus services run throughout the area and to outside regions as well. Of course, one can simply walk into the region as well… so long as you have a valid passport. There is no airport as of yet so flying isn’t an option.
