Adrianne stood straighter and let him go. She shimmered into a cloud of Darkness, and was instantly gone from that place.
The alleys of the town were quiet, for the most part. Men with high powered weapons were lying in wait. Hunting for magic users-for Shadows-whatever their radical military system believed to be dangerous. When she materialized in front of them, they seemed quite startled. One raised his weapon to shoot, and was struck down by her impatient hand. The knife embedded in his chest had been thrown so quickly from her outstretched hand, that it could hardly be seen. The others were wise enough not to move.“I have a proposition.” She said coldly, her eyes golden. “You give me what I want, and I will give you what you want.”
-
Pollux bristled. He pulled away from Poprocks and stormed away angrily. She didn’t go after him and he was fine with that. He prepared a pack and climbed in a taxi after walking to a large town successfully without Pop pursuing him. He was glad to start a new life and happy but slightly heart ached to leave his old one behind. Castor once told him that you cannot run from yourself. Pollux wished he paid more attention to the knowledge Castor dropped when they were younger. But because no girl would ever adore Castor he relied on drugs, alcohol, and Loki for passion.

Kit sat on the roof top, watching Adri. “What are you doing?” she asked acidly. Her eyes were the only thing that could really be seen in the growing shadow, because they glowed a bright aquamarine despite it. “It had better not be something stupid.”
-
Adri looked like a child with her hand caught in a cookie jar. “Kit, what are you doing here?” She asked, bewildered. The man quickly tore down the alley, but she hardly noticed-Adri was like that. Easily distracted.
-
“Oh, I never left.” she answered, waving her hand about. “I’ve been around. Watching. And you look exactly like you’re doing something incredibly stupid.” she waved a careless hand and the man dropped, a silver knife protruding from the center of his back. “Sorry, did you want him alive?” she snapped her fingers and the man began floating to the two, just barely kept alive and very much in pain.
-
“I suppose I don’t care… wow, you have to teach me how to do that.” Although, that may just be a fairy thing. Adri didn’t know. “Anyways, I am hurt that you would think I would ever do something stupid. Wait-define stupid.”
-
“weeelllllll…… It could very easily be assumed that you’re here to turn either yourself or Loki’s kid in. Both of those would be stupid.” she jerked her hand in a chopping motion and the man’s screaming stopped.
-
“No. Loki’s sons may hate me, but I would never betray them. Well, maybe Castor. He didn’t even bother fighting Loki… still. I’m not in the backstabbing business. Unless it is of course my own b-” She stopped. “Why do I always do that!?” Adri began rebuking herself, having realized that she practically did just that. Sold herself out.
“So what? What would be the problem with that?”
-
“I…” Kit trailed off, frowning slightly.. “I would not enjoy your death.” she finally said.
-
Adri blinked. “Ok then. I won’t die.” Magenta splashed and enveloped the gold in her eye. “But we gotta do something fun. I need to get my mind off of things.”
-
“Fun? Like watching the blood games:?” she asked after a long silence.
-
“Blood games?”
Bunny-// O.O Oh no. Kit, what have you done?/
-
Pop hopped down next to Adri, “What-” She stared.
