<p style=”line-height: 24px;”>”Fine by me.” Aureolin answered, examining the kabob she was holding before lowering it back into the flame. “Unfortunately, without pots, pans, spices or any kind of seasoning, cooking is less exciting.”</p>
<p style=”line-height: 24px;”>Again, Aureolin took the food from the fire, but this time took a bite of it.</p>
<p style=”line-height: 24px;”>”This is fine.” She said, before picking up two more kabobs to cook.</p>

[Helexia]

Celest looks at Aureolin, “if you need pots I can make them pretty easily since they’re simple and small.” She says as she grabs a kabob and begins to cook it.

[Cyan]

Aureolin smiled while holding the kabobs over the fire. “The thought of asking you did cross my mind for a second, but you did expend a lot of power in constructing the house. Even if the pots are small things, they can wait until tomorrow. Let’s just try to relax now, because I’m tired myself. With these limiters, I’m not as strong and swinging my sword is more difficult and tiring.”

[Helexia]

“I suppose you are right. It’s best to get some rest anyway.” Celest says taking the chance to relax herself some more.

[Wake]

Caligula glanced up at the angels and chuckled slightly,”It’s a little funny,” He said, “As a demon, I’ve been basically useless, but because I’ve lost nothing it almost feels like I have the upper hand.” He said, then returned to writing, “Although it’s not like I’ve gained anything, I’m still just as useless as before.” He said humorously, twirling his pen between his fingers.

[Helexia]

“Just because you didn’t lose anything doesn’t mean you have the upper hand in this situation. If I were to say anything about the limiters for sure I think it brings me back to the point in my life where I was still training my powers to get stronger when I was weaker. I’m sure the others may feel a sense similar to that. Therefore if I can remember my limits from then I can understand my limits currently.” Celest says eating some of her food.”In the end you can turn a situation such as this where you have the underhand into one where you can have the upper hand no matter what if we know how to.” She says looking at Caligula.

[Wake]

Caligula glanced at Celest and gave a good-natured smile, “I know, it just feel that way.” He said, twirling it around so the pen faces the paper again and begins to write again, “I’m aware that at 100% power, I’m probably still only a fraction of any one of you at 50%…” He trailed off on his sentence, concentration seeming to shift almost completely to the notebook as he scribbled in it.

“God you’re such a pessimistic demon, you keep talking about how weak you are or unable to do anything.” Celest says as she finishes her food, “You should try and at least think a bit more positively about yourself and abilities sometimes.” she continues as she takes off her book bag and takes out a sketchbook and an outfit she decides to continue her work on.

[Wake]

“Not pessimistic, realistic.” He mumbled, still focusing the majority of his concentration toward his notebook, “Objectively, I fit practically none of the standards of what a demon is supposed to be like, especially if you were to compare me to that one there.” He nodded toward Jaya, then paused a moment before continuing, having briefly lost his train of thought to what he wrote, “By my own standards, I believe I’m a decent sort of person.”

[Helexia]

“Then I guess in some sense we are somewhat similar, after all I don;t fit any of the standards of what angels are supposed to be like either. Aureolin is much more of an actual or more like a complete angel than me but that doesn’t mean you have to live and think that way all the time.” she says as she opens her sketchbook to look at her outfit design and begins sewing it together.

[Cyan]

“Guys, please don’t do this.” Aureolin said, turning towards Caligula. “You don’t have to be an experienced fighter or have incredible magic to be useful. We’re in a situation where combat ability is not the core value, but rather our ability to put our strengths together. Everybody’s strength is useful, no matter the amount. So do not call yourself useless.”
She then turned to face Celest. “Yeah, a lived a human life before and I have a halo, but I’m not exactly what an angel should be either, because I didn’t even live to see 40 years in my human life. I’m considered young for an angel, and on occasion I am pitied or ridiculed for having my human life cut short.”
Aureolin glanced back at her food and removed it from the fire.
“Even after human life, nobody is perfect. But at least love who you are.” she said before starting to eat.

[Wake]

Despite himself, Caligula couldn’t help but chuckle, “I see what you mean by a ‘complete angel'” he said, briefly glancing over his glasses at Celest with a humorous glint in his eye before looking back down at the notebook. “There’s a difference between pessimism and realism. From my knowledge, the world isn’t such a kind place, not everyone has a purpose.” He said in a dull, distracted tone of voice, “Baseless optimism and false hope is more detrimental than baseless pessimism cynicism.”

[Helexia]

“If you believe reality to be the one and only truth then you hold yourself back but if you deny reality as the only truth then sometimes you can be able to defy the standards that have been set for you.” Celest says looking at Caligula,”It’s okay to be a realist and all but you have at least try and think outside of what reality has to offer sometimes.”

[BluBlah]

Jaya watched the three interact, interested in how well they seemed to balance one another out, finding it odd but amusing as he watched and ate, cooking Caligula’s a bit. Standing up with his done meat, Jaya walked towards the two, handing Caligula his meat.
He looked between the two of them and grinned, “I don’t think either of you are necessarily right, you cannot deny reality that is dangerous and leads to failure, always. Instead you have to accept it but try to change it, make your own means, so yeah you’re right about that.”
Turning to the other demon Jaya spoke once more, “There is a difference between pessimism and realism but you’re blurring the lines by not trying more. Though false hope is more detrimental both optimism and pessimism can hold you back if you don’t do anything to change. But that’s the whole point of this experiment we have here, to change, to grow as a community.”
“We’re all essentially like super powered humans at this point, these limiters created so that there’s a dependency. You may not think you can contribute much due to lack of strength but helping like with fruit earlier was important, contributing to conversations, making small talk and slowly building trust is important, your conversations with Celest does more than me bringing meat. So yes you can contribute and you’re doing a pretty great job.”
Jaya shrugged, “Celest isn’t the perfect angel and you aren’t the perfect demon but neither are Aureolin and I. I agree with her, no one’s perfect and you don’t need to be incredible. Aureolin is inexperienced compared to the rest of us, I’m the least stable, Celest is the most stubborn, and Caligula is not fit for fighting. We have faults.”

[Helexia]

“Aww…but I love my stubbornness~” Celest says playfully, “I find it as one of my greatest charms.” she says with a big smile.”Although eventually I know I’ll have to put in some effort and not be too stubborn about things.”
