Truce or Destruction

Demons and Angels have fought for too long , the prolonged war having devastating effects on both sides, leaving them deprived of magic and with dying populations. Heaven and Hell has had enough, sending both demons and angels to earth in an isolated forest in Australia, the most dangerous continent on Earth, with limiters, limited stamina and weaker magic making them have to depend on others. This is to form bonds that will hopefully end their war, an example of peace a sample before going larger and larger, though there are still some who oppose this peace….
Story Arc
-
Jaya stood quiet a bit, watching the other demon. “I suppose you’re right… Hey what are you always writing down?” Jaya asked as he started looking for some food for real now.
-
“Understood.” Aureolin answered. “By no means am I trying to tell you what to do. I’ve had experience with being teased before, and I just would like to offer whatever aid I can.”
From there, she started towards one of the trees, while slowly drawing her sword. “I’d cut down thhis entire tree, but that might fall on someone and it’ll make a lot of noise. But some of those branches might be useful.” With several quick strokes, Aureolin was able to cut off some large tree branches for the shelter. She then started to take them back, two at a time.
-
Celest helps Aureolin with the branches, letting her staff float beside her “I’m teased quite often, I should actually be used to it but I guess not. I’ll probably get used to it eventually, I doubt it’ll ever end with my luck.” she says with a slight smile.
-
Caligula tapped his pen against his lips with a slight smile, “That’s my secret.” He said, returning the stationary to his pocket, “It’s various things, none of which are particularly relevant to you.” He said and scanned the woods, “I imagine there’s something more productive I can be doing than writing,” He said glancing at Jaya, “What should I do?”
-
Jaya rolled his eyes at the words but sent a wink Caligula’s way, “I’m great at secrets, I’m even better at making them.” He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively before laughing and changing the subject. “based on the noise I hear the angels have the materials needed for a house and the fire already. You can gather some more to be sure or hello me get this food, maybe help decide whether these fruits around are poisonous or not, I really don’t know what angels eat.” Jaya shrugged before throwing his knife at a fat rabbit in the distance, his aim rather good.
-
“I’m sure what they eat isn’t so different than us.” Caligula said, collecting some fruits from the trees, “And even if you can keep a secret, I’m fairly sure I’m under contract not to say, and even if not, I’ll continue to use that as an excuse.” He said, rejoining with Jaya, arms full of the fruits, “I may say more sometime in the future, but as of yet, there really isn’t much to say. It isn’t particularly interesting anyway.” He said with a shrug.
-
Jaya shrugged, “You never know.” Jogging off a bit and with a few more throws Jaya collected his kills, about an arm full of kills were in his arms. He looked appreciative of the fruits in Caligula’s hands. “You know a way to a demon’s heart.” He flirted as he lead the way back to the angels.
-
Celest was looking at the material, it seemed like enough material but she knew that in order to give it a permenant form she would have to let go of the transformation she’s been trying to hold recently which put her into a slight fit.
-
Aureolin tossed one last stick into the pile of material. “I guess since Celest is just standing there, this is enough to put together a house. But…she looks upset again. I would ask what ‘s wrong, but I don’t want to pry.” she thought, sliding her sword back into her satchel.
-
Caligula raised an eyebrow, glancing at Jaya, “What’s your goal?” he asked as they reached the campgrounds, “You’ve been flirting with everyone for the past while, haven’t you?” he placed the fruit on the ground near the campsite, “I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a little odd.”
-
After a while Celest finally got over her small fit, “well it wasn’t like I was going to be able to keep this up forever, might as well just get it over with.” she says with slight disappointment as she gets rid of her transformation and returns to her original appearance and outfit revealing her gender. She then sits down and holds her staff close to her as she pours all of her concentration and began transforming all the materials to form a permanent structure of a house.
-
Jaya looked thoughtful, “I don’t particularly have a goal, I’m just trying to follow orders and help us reach a peaceful end.” Jaya shrugged, despite how good words seem to contradict, it was the truth. “And yes I have been flirting with everyone, but is that really uncommon? It comes naturally to me, some of what I said was serious and some to tease but it’s all me. Why do you ask, getting a little jealous at my diverted attention?” Jaya switched to flirting once more as they neared the clearing.
-
Once Celest is done putting a permanent form on the house she quickly lets go of her staff and lays down on the ground holding her head in hopes of easing a new found headache. “I’m really starting to hate these limiters a lot more.” she says to herself.
-
Caligula shook his head, “It’s not that, of course.” He said, then looked over the campgrounds with approval, “I’m an old man, it’s a little off-putting.” He gave a quick nod in greeting toward the angels, but still kept most of his attention diverted toward Jaya, “Although I don’t recall being flirted with for nearly a century, that may play a role.”
-
“Wow, that had to have taken a lot of power to do. Your entire appearnce changed!” Aureolin said to Celest. Hearing the voices of the two demons, she turned to face them. “Looks like our demon comrades have come back, with a very impressive haul.”
