*She sat attentively listenting to sensei Grey’s coursework. She usuallly was there for nightclass because of her busy schedule and she was already a graduate. Her family emphasized continuing education and she knew it was worth it especially as she listened to Sensei Grey’s indepth class. Her eyes scan over the information on the board instantly learning the model and quickly using her astral magic to create smaller copy on a specialized tablet used at the school. She wanted to make sure that what she memorized was exactly what Sensei Jean had displayed in class. Other students watched her, but Star, although rough, strong and often playful was one who took her studies very seriously and had excellent grades.

She then followed Sensei Grey’s instructions to open their journal. The words she mentioned “neurological bridge between intuition and psychic reception.” Made her think of how she and her twin seemed to be in sync whith each other when it came to this particular subject. She looks up at Sensei Grey.*

We study this in the field of the supernatural and psychic awareness but it is also a subject that is studied in science as it is thought that intuition might involve the ventromedial prefrontal cortex and amygdala.

*She blinks as she realizes she may be getting ahead of herself.* Sorry sensei! *she quiets down and begins the aura sync exercise.*

*Luna was in the same class. She would smirk looking over to her sister as she could hear her brain working a full speed. She pays attention to everything Sensei Grey says and she sits closer to her sister.* I agree that this syncing of intuition is strongest among twins but we also share this interconnection between close family and friends. How often haven’t we intuitively and sometimes unintentionally transferred our thoughts to one of our cousins or even to our daughters? *Sensei Grey hears her talking and taps on her desk. She nods and opens her journal and begins her sync exercise.*

  • *She shape shifts into her demon form and taps her foot as Sensei Jean gives her lessons. She was a little irked and hyperaware that her mother Luna was in the class room. At one moment she even stands up and points at Star and Luna.* Sensei! Sensei Grey! No fair! Why are those two overpower geniuses in the class with us? I demand a re-do! *when Sensei shot her a look that could easily be translated as “sit down, be quite, or else.” She immediately cowered back into her seat and tried to focus on the lesson at hand. She took notes and opened her journal but wasn’t sure how she would match up to her mother at all.*

  • *Starlia tries her very best not to burst out laughing when she hears Sugar exclaim that her mother and auntie are overpowered geniuses. Although Starlia was aware that her mother was in the class, she hadn’t really given it much thought. Maybe it’s because her mother constantly tutored her at home even when she tried to sneak away to enjoy a bit of nonsense. She turned around in her chair to look at Sugar.* Simmer down! Just focus! I’ll help you!

Her eyes scan the room once more, but this time they pause briefly on Luna and Star, a subtle lift of her brow betraying the faintest trace of approval.

    “Excellent observation, Star and Luna.”

*She steps away from the desk and paces with graceful precision.*

“The neurological link between twins often creates a unique psychic tether—one that can defy traditional distance-based limitations. It’s one of the few cases where emotional transfer and telepathic response can happen instinctively, without intentional focus.”

*She turns toward the board, fingers dancing lightly in the air as a diagram of two minds connected by shimmering threads appears.*

“This… is the twin resonance thread. Not everyone can feel this connection, but twins often don’t just sense each other—they live a small part of each other daily.”

*A sudden huff near the back of the class draws her attention—Sugar.*

Jean’s eyes flicker with amusement, though her tone remains calm and centered.

    “As for you, Sugar…”

*She places a hand on her hip, the barest hint of a smirk tugging at her lips.*

“I do hope you can forgive your mother for being fascinated by this class. Believe me, if I could bottle your energy, I’d have an endless power source for aura amplification.”

*A few chuckles ripple across the classroom.*

“Alright,” she claps her hands once—firm, but not harsh. “Everyone on your feet. We’re moving into aura sync now.”

*She walks to the center of the room as lights dim slightly and soft harmonic tones begin playing from the embedded speakers.*

“Find your center. Breathe in… hold… now breathe out. Let your aura settle around you like mist. You’re not reaching out yet—you’re simply becoming aware.”

“In a moment, I’ll pair you with a partner. But remember: psychic connection starts with trust. If you’re not ready to open up, you’ll block the resonance. So I suggest…”

*She glances again at Sugar with playful emphasis.*

“…no side comments until we’ve synced properly.”

The classroom buzzed lightly as new students trickled in, eyes scanning their schedules, seats, and each other. Jean had already taken her place — not in the center, not commanding attention, but seated with posture poised and presence unmistakable. Her fiery red hair shimmered faintly under the overhead light, and her emerald eyes calmly took in everything… including the hesitant thoughts bouncing through the air like nervous static.

“Why are we even taking this?”

“Understanding the Human Mind? Sounds like fluff.”

“I already passed Combat Theory. Why waste time on brain stuff?”

Jean chuckled softly, lips curling into a serene smile.

As the last student found their seat, the lights dimmed, though no one had touched the panel. Jean stood, her voice soft and melodic as she spoke — not to chastise, but to gently unveil the truth.

“The human mind,” she began, “is not a weapon… not really. Nor is it a shield, or a toy, or some clever trick to win arguments.”

With a graceful lift of her hand, the classroom dissolved. The walls faded. Desks vanished. In their place bloomed the vivid image of a beautiful park, golden light filtering through trees, people jogging, laughing, dogs barking in the distance.

    The students blinked in awe.

“It’s a space,” Jean continued. “A world within. A reflection of your inner state and the energy of others. But when left unchecked—”

The laughter was cut short. The leaves turned to ash. The sky darkened into a swirling void. Buildings cracked, split, and crumbled. Fire licked the edges of the dreamscape, smoke rising from shattered glass and twisted metal. Among the ruins lay what once had been the Academy.

Gasps filled the illusion. A few students stood, frozen in panic.

And then, just like that — it all vanished. The classroom returned, whole and untouched.

Jean tilted her head, smiling playfully.

“What? Did you truly believe it happened?”

Silence. Then heads slowly bowed — not out of shame, but respect.

Jean returned to her seat, calm as ever.

“Now,” she said, eyes gleaming, “let’s begin. The mind is your most powerful realm. Let’s learn how not to lose it.”
