Len…didn’t know what to respond with… “T-thanks…I guess…” He allowed himself to relax…man…he didn’t know why. Then he decided to ask Kaito what he was wondering all day.”Hey Kaito…where ARE the rest of the vocaloids? Wasn’t Haku supposed to come back home today? I was alone all day until you came back from the grocery store. I mean I’m okay with being alone but usually everyone would be back here by now…”

[Wake]

Kaito shrugs, “I donno, Haku could’ve gotten lost or something,” he pulled Len a little closer, “But I’m glad its only you right now.” He tilted Lens head up to meet his eyes, “You shouldn’t worry about that right now, I’m sure it’ll all work out.”

[Anonymous]

“O-okay…Kaito. I guess you’re…right.” He trembled a bit as Kaito’s deep blue eyes met his turquoise eyes. “I…was just worried they might have gone out to a big dinner party without us or something like that.” He averted his gaze and looked at the floor, then back to looking at Kaito. He did this…I dunno, a couple of times.

[Wake]

“Does it really matter?” Kaito moved his head close to Lens so their eyes were less than an inch apart, “We’ve  been to plenty of those things, whats the harm of missing one?” He stroked Lens cheek with the back of his hand, “This is more fun anyway.”

[Anonymous]

Len just stated at Kaito; he was afraid to do anything. In a hushed voice he replied, “I-if you say I-it’s more fun…I guess it is…You are the…older one anyway…” He moved his hands close to his chest. He could feel something was going to happen…and as he always did, he just waited for it to happen.

[Wake]

“Len… am I scaring you…?” Kaito asks with a slightly pitiful tone in his voice, releasing his hold on Len, “I… I’m…sorry.”

[Anonymous]

Len felt bad for Kaito…he didn’t scare him at all. He whispered, “No, it’s okay…you didn’t scare me.” He just stayed where he was…and looked up at Kaito. “To be honest…I’m a bit hungry…”

[Wake]

Kaito put his arms back around Len and buries his head in his back, still feeling a little bad, “I’ll take you out for dinner,” He said, voice muffled by Len’s shirt.

[Anonymous]

“That sounds nice…thanks Kaito…” Len decided he’d stay like this for a few minutes. “So…where do you want to eat? There are lots of nice places…” He stroked his hair back as he thought of the millions of different places they could go… He turned to face Kaito…well that was kind of difficult to do due to the fact that Kaito’s face was buried in his shirt. “I don’t know Kaito. Where do you want to go?”

[Wake]

Kaito shrugged, “I don’t really know any restaurants around here, I usually only have time to go to the convenience store.” He said, still muffled by Len, and still sounding slightly sad “Unless you want to take a train to Akiha at this time of night, there’s a ramen place you might like.”

[Anonymous]

Len thought that was a fantastic idea. “I mean…are you okay traveling there now, or would you…rather eat here?” He didn’t know any restaurants in this area either…but he was glad that Kaito brought up that ramen place, since he always wanted to go there. “Though…I really want to go to that ramen place Kaito… is there any possibility we could catch a super fast train there?”

[Wake]

Kaito pulled away from Len’s shirt, a slight smile on his face, “The train ride isn’t very long, but we should probably get going soon to catch a train back.” He puts his face back into Len’s shirt, hugging him tighter, “But I want to finish refueling on Len first…”

[Anonymous]

Len exhaled, a nervous smile on his face. “Fine…Kaito, I’ll give you a few more minnutes, but then we’ll go to the restaurant…okay?” He still couldn’t get over the fact that Kaito had been embracing him for the past…I don’t know…few 5 to 10 minutes… It allowed him to rewind and be in a completely different state of mind.

Unbeknowst to them, Haku is in the doorway watching them, slowly taking her phone out to take a picture of the two together. *click* She took the picture, thus revealing her position. She immediately and quickly passes by them to the next room to hide. She then looks at the picture she took, “Awe… they’re so cute together….”

[Wake]
