Akio nods, “I understand.” he looks down, starting to braid his hair. “I actually kinda nervous…I don’t think I’ve done this before. If I have, I don’t remember.” Akio raises his head and smiles. “Is there anything you want me to do?” he tilts his head.
-
Okarin glances back at him quickly, “I’m not exactly sure how this is going to work out, to be honest. Perhaps I should’ve planned this out rather than having it as such a spur of the moment thing.” He puts his hands in his pockets again, “The most I could ask from you is to be yourself.”
-
“I’ll try,” he laughs momentarily. “Oh, yes. I forgot to say this but, a couple of days ago…a nurse came into my room. I never had seen her before in my life. And she then gave me my pills and before she left. I…I remember this word to word. She said, I quote, “Next time I see you I’ll grab all your hair and snip it off with scissors.” That was very scary…” Akio resumes braiding his hair. “Please don’t let anyone do that to me.”
-
Okarin shakes his head shamefully, “…Ah… That happened?” He ran his hand through his hair with a sigh, “…That shouldn’t be a concern, as long as its not a danger and you keep it maintained then it should be fine…” He pulled out his clipboard again and scribbled down another note, “…I’ll be sure to deal with it… Ah, and your lights should be replaced this afternoon…” He tucked his notes back into his arm and put his hand up to his temple, beginning to develop a small headache.
-
Akio smirks, looking away. “Thank you, I thought you’d make me cut my hair.” he giggles quietly. “I hope I’m not giving you a headache. You should take some pills, and maybe take some time off work. Have a vacation!” he turns to Okarin. “I’m sure this place can manage a few days without you!” Akio stops braiding his hair, the braid falls apart. He trails away a bit, spinning down the hall. “Maybe you can go to Paris! Or maybe Rome?! London? I suggest Paris! The City of Love! Hey, you mind if I come?” he asks, a little desperate.
-
Mary notices how cobalt looks around, “How long have you been in that room?” She asks, looking over at him, “Seems like you’re very interested in the hallway.” She says, giggling a little.
-
Cobalt looks to her, “I have been in there mainly since I got here so…” thinks for a minute. “About 2 years now. They only took me out a few times to do some testing but I was always half asleep when they took me out so I don’t really remember anything.”
-
“Wow..” Mary says, surprised, “They should really let you out more, at least in the straight jacket! You seem stable enough for that much.” she says with a hint of anger in her voice.
-
Okarin let’s out a small laugh, “There’s no way I’d be able to take time off, I already have more work than I can deal with now!” He turns a corner and begins to walk up a flight of stairs, giving Akio a slight smile, “Even if I had time off, I’m not sure what I would do with it, I don’t think travel is quite right for me.”
-
Cobalt tilts his head, “Then why don’t you take it off of me right now?”
-
Akio stops spinning, he runs up the stairs, skipping every other step. “Can’t every one travel?” he holds onto the railing. “You’re so lucky, you know that right. Do you know how bad I’ve wanted to travel? I’ve just given up on the thought of it.” Akio sighs. He then smiles, looking at Okarin. “Hey, I’m kinda traveling right now! I haven’t walked this far in a couple of months, maybe even a year!” Akio stretches out one of his legs. “Being this big, it gets a little cramped in my room.”

Mary stops for a second and strokes her chin in consideration, “Hmm… Nah!” she says, starting to walk again, “I cant do anything without permission, sorry.” She smiles at him.
-
Cobalt sighs and continues to follow her again, “Are we almost there? You said it wasn’t far.”
-
Mary glances at the room numbers, “We should be pretty close, we just have to go to the third floor.” She says as she walks toward a staircase.
