Raven swooped down to the edge of the cave, sticking her nose in an explorative manner. The red eyes widened for the moment it took for a small creature to leap out at her, and point a poorly fashioned spear at her throat. The Wyvern cried out, toppled over and tumbling down the hill. When they came to a stop, the poor catgirl had been thrown off and what appeared to be the previously tied up girl was ready to strike.
“Wait!” Raven gulped. The girl hesitated.
-
“Huh.” She beat her wings. Once. Twice. “Practical, I suppose. At least they accepted that a powerful creature lived nearby, eh? Anyways, one cow… it is a small price compared to what you provide them with. I know drakes who would bleed those people dry-either that, or waste them away. Like dust-blink them out of existence.”
When Kit wrinkled her nose, Raven laughed, showing all of her white teeth. “Heh, I see. You are one of those drakes. I don’t care what state the cow is in, as long as it isn’t rancid. Where I come from, you had to work for your meat, and were too hungry to think about doing anything to eat it.”

Raven considered her options. She could’ve easily fit the cat-girl in her pouch, but sitting on a small fortune of gold might not be terribly comfortable. Instead, she gingerly picked up the humanoid and put her just above the area where her neck met her shoulders. Raven was smaller than a dragon, and felt more like a cat then a horse.
It was awkward. Raven typically didn’t let anyone ride her-she was often referred to as an animal, and while that may be true-it was still uncomfortable. She had only ever let the human girl ride her… because she trusted her. Just to be sure, she made it a point to fly below Kit. It was amazing-the brilliant blues that made up all of her transformations. Raven resented her plain color, and her heritage-she only ever dreamed that she could breath fire. Perhaps with a well fashioned ember charm, one day, she could-but it would only be with the help of magic. All this she thought while she flew. Turning to Shiv, Raven asked “So, how long have you guarded this territory?”
-
The wyvern could see him clearly now. She turned her watchful eye from him and shook her head, spreading the curtain of black wings against the air. “Never mind him. If he turns out to be a nuisance, we will just kill him.” Raven was not joking-she was really worried by his presence, and his demeanor wasn’t helpful. “I agree-Shiv, lead the way. I don’t suppose the cat-girl would like a ride?” If that is what she is… Raven thought to herself, before frowning.
-
Raven almost purred. She stopped the sound halfway through-she had never met so many trustworthy drakes before.
“Whoa woa, one thing at a time. To answer your question, Shiv, she does-She’s a peasant girl, wouldn’t seem of much worth. Dark hair, blue eyes… That is my human.” She watched the shifter pick up the cat-girl and drop her, chortling-“I would appreciate any help I can get. Really… Even if it is just because you are bored. Blood and glory awaits those who fight-perhaps later, in thanks, I can lead you to Erander and Lendan’s hoard.” Guiltlessly, Raven’s eyes seemed to glimmer at the idea of gold.
Raven readied to fly, and stopped suddenly. “Does anyone smell that?” Her nose wasn’t the best, but Raven felt like something was nearby. Another drake… there must be something going on in Shiv’s territory, otherwise so many beings wouldn’t be gathering here.
-
“That, was about something that should have died a long time ago.” Raven spat at the body, surprised by the humanoid popping in front of her. She lowered her head to examine the good smelling creature and sniffed. “I think I can find where he was staying, but his whole hoard wouldn’t be near your turf, Friend. See, that monster we just fought is Erander and his brother, Lendan. They are enemies of my… of mine, who challenged the throne to the Dark dragon king. I ffought them, and took something they loved dearly-and now I suppose they came to repay the favor by killing my Human. I… can’t find her-so they… might have-” Raven stopped speaking and pacing, realizing that she had dug her claws into the earth.

“Blood games?”
Bunny-// O.O Oh no. Kit, what have you done?/
-
Adri blinked. “Ok then. I won’t die.” Magenta splashed and enveloped the gold in her eye. “But we gotta do something fun. I need to get my mind off of things.”
-
“No. Loki’s sons may hate me, but I would never betray them. Well, maybe Castor. He didn’t even bother fighting Loki… still. I’m not in the backstabbing business. Unless it is of course my own b-” She stopped. “Why do I always do that!?” Adri began rebuking herself, having realized that she practically did just that. Sold herself out.
“So what? What would be the problem with that?”
-
“I suppose I don’t care… wow, you have to teach me how to do that.” Although, that may just be a fairy thing. Adri didn’t know. “Anyways, I am hurt that you would think I would ever do something stupid. Wait-define stupid.”
-
Adri looked like a child with her hand caught in a cookie jar. “Kit, what are you doing here?” She asked, bewildered. The man quickly tore down the alley, but she hardly noticed-Adri was like that. Easily distracted.

Raven climbed off of his corpse, and gave him no second glance. “Thanks… Revenge won’t change anything, but it sure does feel good.”</p>

The Dark drake snorted, a cloud of acid spurting out of his nostrils. “Fool. I will only stop when I am cleaning your bloodied remains from my talons!”
Raven screamed and threw herself onto the Drake, digging her wing claws into and underneath the protective scales along his back. “You killed her. For that, you will pay! Stay until you die. It will be my pleasure.” After she finished, she found a chink in the armor, and dug her fangs into it. The Elder turned his attention from Shiv to curse and remove her. Which was, much easier said than done.

Adrianne stood straighter and let him go. She shimmered into a cloud of Darkness, and was instantly gone from that place.
The alleys of the town were quiet, for the most part. Men with high powered weapons were lying in wait. Hunting for magic users-for Shadows-whatever their radical military system believed to be dangerous. When she materialized in front of them, they seemed quite startled. One raised his weapon to shoot, and was struck down by her impatient hand. The knife embedded in his chest had been thrown so quickly from her outstretched hand, that it could hardly be seen. The others were wise enough not to move.“I have a proposition.” She said coldly, her eyes golden. “You give me what I want, and I will give you what you want.”
