Okay, so I guess I should not be lazy and actually give Al here a bit of a bio. I should also mention that you guys should feel free to talk to him any time! He’s real friendly, I swear!

First of, some ground rules:

– I’m fond of fluff, romance, AUs (Cardverse, Gauken, 2P, Sweet Devil, Genderbending/Nyotalia etc.), the occasional angst, platonic relationships and the like. If you have any sort of kink requests when roleplaying, let me know. I’m usually comfortable with most things, but please inform me before hand so I can tell you if I’m comfortable with it or not.

– Please do not be violent or abusive for no reason. That stuff doesn’t fly with me. This includes gore. Sorry, guys. Not my cup of tea. ^^;

– Alfred is not at all fond of individuals who are sleazy or open their legs to him. That’s just not cool, dudes.

– Just don’t be an asshole, okay? I understand some characters can be jerks, but that excuse can only go so far. If you harass me ooc as well, I won’t hesitate to unfriend and ignore you. I’m here to have fun, not get caught up in stupid drama.

– Don’t be afraid to talk to me ooc. I love making new friends and chatting with people.

– I’m not too big on senseless smut. If it comes about in an already plotted out roleplay, then it’s fine.

– I will not cheat on whoever ends up in a relationship with Alfred. While it’s not a ‘true’ relationship, I still don’t feel it’s right. However, private AU roleplays that are separate from the public posting may be an exception.

– I adore lit. roleplays, so please try to be aware of grammar and spelling!

– If you’re ever up for an AU or Non-AU, just shoot me a message! But please, rather than just shoving a random starter in my face, let me know what you want to roleplay so we can plot it out a bit. I like structure when I start a roleplay. If you just throw a random starter my way, more often than not, I won’t know how to respond to it. I hate to sound like I’m being rude, but you’re more likely to get me to roleplay with you if you actually express some willingness to plot with me. ^^;

– On that note, I guess I should mention pairings that I like. My two big ones are USUK and RusAme, and then AmeCan. In addition, I’m always willing to make an exception/try a new pairing for people who can roleplay their characters well. For private AUs, I can also play a few other characters, such as Russia and Germany. I can also give a few others a shot, since I’m always willing to try a new character. ( I’ve done a few others, but not as extensively as the ones mentioned above. )

– Getting to know Alfred –

Basics:

Physically, he looks about 19 years old, but in reality he’s now 236 years old as a country. And, yes, he’s a bit chubby. It comes from not watching what he eats and the copious amount of time he spends just sitting around playing video games. He’s a bit more in tune with his people, as he spends a lot of time around them at his part-time job at Gamestop- it has the wonderful perk of employee discounts on games. He works there because he enjoys it; he’s a nerd and a big one at that. There’s nothing he loves more than discussing all his geeky hobbies with other people who understand it and share a mutual love for everything nerdy. He’s also really into things like the paranormal, dinosaurs, and playing the acoustic guitar.

Personality:

He’s a bit more level headed and not quite as excitable as some of his counterparts, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be childish and/or quick to jump to imaginative (and often extremely paranoid) scenarios. He’s still a bit of a wimp when it comes to horror films, but that has a lot to do with the fact that he genuinely believes in a lot of the crap that those films focus on. Alfred is adorkable, plain and simple, and a huge romantic at heart. He’s also in the bad habit of using horribly corny pickup lines just to get a smile out of whoever he happens to be dating, or he’ll use them in an attempt to cheer someone up. Along with his dorky charm and friendly, laid back demeanor, he’s rather protective and supportive of those he considers close to him. Regarding his weight, he is a bit self-conscious, and it’s a touchy subject that he likes to leave alone. You’d never hear him admit it, but he’s basically a big, dorky teddy bear.

Head canons/quirks:

( This one will be a continual work in progress where more head canons will be added as they come to mind. )

– Alfred doesn’t like a lot of today’s music. While he’ll admit that some of it is decent, you’ll very rarely hear him listening to any of it. The music he’s most fond of is generally classic rock n roll bands, and that’s the kind of music he’ll often dance and sing around the house to. A few of his guilty pleasures, though, include British music artists such as Muse and David Bowie. ( He’ll often sing dorky loves songs to his significant other just to make them laugh. He’s corny as hell and he’s damn proud. )

-Tying in to the statement above, Alfred is very fond of ‘swing’ songs usually associated with the 1920s and 30s. He’s a very talented swing dancer, excelling in both lindy hop and charleston; both styles are fast paced and upbeat, much more to his liking. But he’s also a fantastic Blues dancer.

– He loves animals. All of them. There isn’t a single critter on the planet that he doesn’t find cute. As a result, he’ll sometimes volunteer at animal shelters.

– Alfred entertains a lot of strange ideas that most would chalk up to myths or legends or hoaxes. He likes to keep an open mind because he realizes there’s still a lot about the world that people don’t know, so anything is possible. Despite this, he still maintains a healthy level of skepticism, as the scientist in him would freak out otherwise.

-Alfred excels in just about every science you can think of, but he seems to have a particular fondness for astrology and paleontology. He’s absolutely crazy (he prefers the word passionate) for dinosaurs and loves to go on ‘dino digs’.

– Despite popular belief, he’s actually a rather good cook and will often make himself food rather than going out to get McDonald’s. Though he’s still fond of the fast food chain, he’s become less and less inclined to eat it every day, having become more health conscious as his nation tries to move in a healthier direction.

– When it comes to sex, Alfred doesn’t really lean one way or the other. He’s not a whimpering submissive or an over the top dominant. Either position is fine for him as long as it’s switched up now and then.
