Oliver’s eyes widened when he was nudged off of Vorgun’s lap, and he watched the troll scream at the new comer, his brown eyes wide with fear. His ears flattened back against his messy hair, and tears sprang up in his eyes, since yelling brought out an instinctual fear in him.

Oliver made a panicked sound of alarm and instantly hid behind Vorgun, who seemed like the only one that would be able to protect him. His small hands gripped onto the troll’s pants leg tightly, and he peeked around him at the scary… Thing that has just appeared.

Oliver walked with them, his hand still in the slightly older girl’s. He looked up at the horned man, but his response was forgotten when there were suddenly hands scratching behind his ears. His brown eyes fluttered closed, and he leaned into the touch, sighing happily.

Oliver looked up, swiping his jacket sleeve across his eyes to dry them. There was someone talking to him? He sniffled before nodding. “Y-Yeah…” He replied, looking up at the girl warily. She looked human, so his first instinct was to be scared of her. But maybe a young human wasn’t so bad?

Arion blinked at the voice, and he shifted his gaze to the red-headed incubus in front of him. “Oh, Barma. It’s a pretty bland party, isn’t it?” He sighed, brushing a stray strand of blonde hair out of his face. “The business is great, I guess. My father is finally retiring, so I’ll be taking over soon. Which means more boring parties that I’ll be obliged to attend.”

“H-Hey!” Casimir picked up the notebook she had tossed aside, and held it out again. “You need this. Godal told me to pass them out.”

Hideki looked at the girl, his head tilted to the side. He didn’t even have time to reply before she had walked away. With a small sigh, the mage tucked his sandwich away and have the girl at the bar an apologetic look. “I should get going. Thank you for the food.”
