Kai nodded with his ears still flat and backed away from Calypso till he was off the pack grounds. “I’m sorry.”

Kai looked up at Calypso. “Umm…I don’t understand….What’s going on?”

Kai blinked, “What? Sorry I’ve been on my own since I was like five…My parents gave me my name raised me till I could handle myself and then vanished.”

Kai didn’t move rather he just laid down at Calypso’s feet. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know that any one lived this far out on the pack grounds..”

Kai heard the growl and stopped his ears dropping to lay flat against his head. He didn’t realize that anyone lived this far out on the pack grounds.

Kai was up earlier than most and was slowly making his way off the pack grounds, but to do so and go where he wanted to go he had to pass by Calypso’s den. He tried to be quite as he passed by.
