Lóng Tiāncái (“Dragon Genius”, lit. “Dragon with Heavenly Talent”) is a humanoid dragonkin, with Chinese origins. She is a genius in all fields, with fighting skill to back her up. Her preferred method of combat is to use a large, rectangular sword which really isn’t that sharp. This is more of a club in reality.
Her biggest weakness is that her scales are unable to fully develop, leaving much of her skin in its less durable form – Yet they develop enough to make armor uncomfortable. This was due to an injection from the city to restrain her power. Her clothing consists of a cape and an apron, along with a sheath for her sword. Her scales are of a red color, and mainly cover her arms and legs, although she has a few that had grown on her face like a tattoo, wrapping around her right eye. Her eyes are a rather pretty shade of green.
If her sword is knocked away, she has considerable proficiency in hand-to-hand combat, and her dragonkin strength is definitely to be overestimated. However, her agility is only slightly above that of a less impressive professional athlete. She is also not perfect in her technique, leaving many open areas to counter if her opponent has similar skills.
She has survival in mind, and will do anything it takes to live on – Even if it means fighting dirty. However, she is seen as a valuable slave due to her strength, and is rarely pit against an opponent that she had any real chance of losing to.
Much of her history is unknown, but it is common knowledge among the slaves that Tiāncái’s parents are locked away in a dungeon, too old to work, possibly dead from the rancid conditions there – Nobody survives in the dungeons for long.

Ran was making relatively quick work of the Hounds. Being the nine-tailed kitsune, and so close to her monster, the supernatural strength and speed of the Hounds was nothing compared to Ran’s – In addition, Ran had strong magical power.
The look in Ran’s eyes was determined. She had intent to kill these beings, or bring them to whatever the Hellhound equivalent of death was. Nobody was to injure Yukari, and especially not Chen – Not on Ran’s watch, by any means. She knew that one had slipped by her, but Ran would have to deal with that later, if the others did not.

Name: Heinrich Axehorn
Age: 48
Appearance: Tall for his species, but still shorter than most Men. He is rather youthful in appearance, but has a few scars on him due to aggressive battle training as a youngster. He has a very full beard and mustache, of bright red color. His hair is also red, but is mostly covered by his helmet. Said helmet has small axes in place of the usual horns. His armor is less intimidating and is more geared towards being able to move, to whatever extent a dwarf can.
His weapons are dual-wielded, twin-bladed, large battle-axes, his exceptional strength being able to carry these without trouble. He forged these axes themselves, and treats them with special care. If he is unable to use these, he has a battle hammer and a pickaxe. He does not use a shield, but his axes can work as one if need be. The battle-axe for his right hand is named Richtig, and his left hand axe is Links – These names engraved on his axes.
Species: Dwarf
Sub-Species: None
Attitude: Generally a jolly person, and tries to make the best of everything. Can get quite fired up if somebody bashes his mining and forging skills.
Habits/Hobbies: He has a bit of a kleptomaniac tendency when it comes to precious stones or metals. He likes to dig in his free time. He is very picky about his weaponry, and his axes have to go in the proper area on his back.
Bio:
Heinrich was a Dwarf who grew up in a town where Men and Dwarves lived together. Training with his Dwarf friends as a child, they were rather aggressive in said training, and all of his friends suffered scars. His life was average for that of a dwarf, but he was always commended for his strength, and seen as a natural leader for being so tall and having such a beard. However, he took his own path, and began to wander the land in search of the most previous metals and stones.
Along the way, with his hammer and pickaxe, he mined the ore and forged his axes – Links and Richtig. They are made of a highly durable material, which is also able to resist rusting for a longer time than other materials. Many dwarves would have trouble carrying his axes with two hands, let alone one each.
Due to his kleptomaniac tendencies, he has developed a fair amount of skill in pickpocketing – But would not take anything that was beyond money value to someone, like a family heirloom.
Now, he still wanders, looking to find the most precious stone – Of completely unknown origin and name. Despite this, as he knows he will have a long life, he will go out of his way to help someone on a quest – Of course, so long as he gets a hefty share of the reward.

In actuality, Chen was only powerful if she was close to Ran – Explaining why Chen always hid behind her, despite Yukari being so much more powerful. While Ran, being the nine-tailed kitsune, was much more powerful – Even Ran’s power was partially dependent on how close she is to Yukari. However, it generally had to be a broad scale before either’s power deteriorated. At the distance they would generally be on the cruise ship, Ran and Chen would almost constantly be at their full power.
Yukari watched as Ran was able to temporarily ripple the shield, pushing in. The kitsune had every intent to put down anything that would dare threaten Chen’s well-being. One could say, despite Yukari having a master-servant relationship with Ran, the kitsune was more like a mother to the young catgirl.

“Actually, tungsten is stronger than titanium.” Tager adjusted his glasses with a small part of his pinky. “Tungsten is less well-known, however, as its weight makes it impractical for regular usage. It is mostly used where there will be an extremity of heat or cold, due to its ability to keep itself together in a temperature change. As a matter of fact, it would take something hotter than the surface of the Sun to make tungsten reach its boiling point.”

Yukari, Ran, and Chen heard the Hell Hounds. Chen hadn’t learned what they were, thinking they were just weird dogs, from the looks of them. Ran, however, sprung into action the instant she heard the Hell Hounds. Despite her aggressive charge, she was practically silent.
It would be easier if Ran handled this anyway, Yukari thought to herself. I am more than capable in my shikigami’s ability to eliminate such threats. With this in mind, Yukari was calm, not raising a single finger against Ran.
-
Chen slowly emerged from the tails, but still clung to Ran. Ran bowed. “Forgive Chen, Mentin. She should warm up to you eventually – She usually does.”
Yukari began to walk towards the cruise. “It is a pleasure meeting you, Mentin. You too, Sepheri, wherever you are in there.” She gets to the deck, before snapping her fingers, the cue for Ran and Chen to follow her.
-
“Now…Allow me to finally introduce the three of us, although we are rather late with it. My name is Yukari Yakumo.” She gave a small curtsy, to signal herself. “My shikigami, with the fluffy tails, is Ran Yakumo.” Ran then gives a bow, her hands placed in the opposite sleeves. “Chen is the girl with the cat ears and the tail, who happens to be hiding in Ran’s tails, so I am afraid you will be receiving no bow from her. Now – We were interrupted as you had introduced yourself, I did not have much time to remember your name. Would you mind telling me again? Consider that your only payment for the ticket.”
-
“Ah…On second thought, that would not be necessary. You see, I bought spare tickets beforehand – Having a feeling that Chen, the smaller girl if you did not know, would have lost hers. Although for the most part she is independent, she has the mind of a child and a body just too full of energy, which makes for a lack of cleaning things up. I’m sure once she matures these habits will be vastly improved, through both her mind becoming more adult-like and the training she is and will continue to receive from myself and Ran. On that rather long note…” Opening a smaller portal, Yukari reached in with her free hand and pulled out a ticket, again for the top-class service. “Here is your ticket. You will receive top-class services, just as Ran and Chen shall.”
-
“If you mean we are going on the ship, then yes. I have purchased tickets for myself, Ran, and Chen. You will need a ticket, too, if you wish to board – However, I will happily buy one for you last-minute, if you happen to not possess a ticket.” Yukari smiled at the woman who had just boarded the ship. “Unlike her, I trust you.”
-
Yukari couldn’t help but chuckle. Not only was the being – a him, from the voice – not aggressive, but he was also only intimidating from a glance. Ran eases her stance, but still looks ready to enter that state again. Chen peeks her head out from Ran’s fluffy tails – The perfect hiding spot for someone so tiny.
Yukari makes no move against the being, allowing him to get himself fit for whatever he was to say or do. She was already over 12 centuries old – A couple minutes wouldn’t hurt her.
-
Ran, with her trained instincts, immediately prepared for action. Clearly, Ran was trained to always get the first strike. Chen hid behind Ran. She had not yet been trained.
Yukari, on the other hand, was intrigued. Despite being a robot, whatever this mechanical being was, it seemed sentient. As Yukari, Ran and Chen were three of the few technology literate in Gensokyo, which is where they gapped from, they were the first to assume that this being was a robot, and not an alien life form thing that wanted to destroy the world. Besides…If this being were intelligent, if it were aiming to destroy the world, a cruise ship would not be a good spot to start. Yukari had a feeling that the mechanical being was more curious than aggressive.

Tager seemed less confused now. “So that’s why she didn’t want me to say that name.” He muttered to himself. At least now there was proof that they were different names and not practically one in the same.

A weird portal opened, not far from the boarding dock. Besides the fact that the other side literally looked like eyes and maybe even had hands emerging from it, it was donned with two red bow-ribbons on either side. From this, three peculiar women floated down. The first was a catgirl with an ear piercing in her left ear, with brown hair and – Perhaps oddest – Her tail split into two separate ones, each actually intact. Her dress was red, and she wore a green hat. She looked to be rather young. Behind her came a nine-tailed kitsune, which quickly caught the nekomata before she could get on the boat.
Unlike the catgirl, the kitsune looked similar to an adult woman, with blonde hair. She wore an odd hat to cover her ears, but she shape made it obvious where they were, so there was little point to it besides being cute. The kitsune’s tails were very, very fluffy.
“Raaaaaaaan, let me goooooo! I wanna go on the ship!” The catgirl hissed, kicked, and clawed at the kitsune apparently named ‘Ran’.
“Not until we get the tickets, Chen. Lady Yukari already told us the rules.” The obviously older woman tried to calm her down, to little avail. The strength difference was far more than that of a child and parent, though – That was all too obvious.
The third woman was, by presence alone, clearly the “Lady Yukari” Ran spoke of. With long blonde hair intertwined with red ribbons, and obviously the fanciest dress and hat, she must be a woman of great wealth and power. “Ran! Chen! Stop fighting, now.”
The catgirl stopped fighting against the kitsune. Ran sets Chen down, and the two stand before Yukari.
“Now, my shikigami and my shikigami’s shikigami. Do you remember the rules for this trip? Especially you, Chen.” She gives Chen a look not unlike one a parent would give to a child prone to misbehavior, in addition to pointing at her with her now-closed, pink parasol.
Chen sighed. “Yes, Lady Yukari…Don’t start fights, don’t fall off the boat, don’t break anything, and don’t bug you if you seem busy unless it’s an emergency.”
“Good. Surely you remember the punishment if you were to break the rules?”
“Once is a smack on the butt with the parasol, then being grounded to the chambers for the night, then gapped back home.” Chen seemed rather reluctant to go through with this.
“Good, good. I am treating the both of you for your good behavior. Do not spoil it.” With that, Yukari re-opened her parasol, holding it against her shoulder, as she closes the strange arm-portal thing. She then walks to the ticket clerk, revealing three tickets – All for top-class services. The methods she used to get these may have been dubious, but all the same, how would she have heard of the cruise in the first place?
//As I have no Ran or Chen, I will be playing them myself until one stumbles across this community, which I would then happily relinquish the role to them.
If you want information on Ran or Chen, please see the following pages:

This also includes the pictures of the characters. However, as I feel ZUN art is less than satisfying, I will let you Google the characters and find this out yourself because Skyrie’s linking system is being idiotic.

Tager had seen catgirls, giant black blobs wearing masks, faceless mask samurai, werewolves serving vampires, and ninjas that would make Naruto look stealthy. As such, the troll was less strange to him as it seemed to be for all the others in the store. However, he would definitely be lying if he said she was completely uninteresting.
