A warm wind rushes through the trees, their branches quake as green leaves fall to the ground. The gaping entrance to the cavern whistles with the wind.
It was a pretty confusing drive to this place, your friend had found the location on an old map that she found at her local library. The road to this place looked like it hadn’t been crossed in a long time. You were only able to find your way here by following the tracks of Jacky, who had decided to get a head start on you. You can see her car, but can’t find her anywhere.

Dakota finds a light switch to the left of the doors.
-
Scanning the room, Dakota can make out the vague shapes of furniture: chairs, a table, other things. As Dakota does this, a vague humanoid figure is seen with the pass of the light. Showing the light immediately on the same space again though reveals nothing, as if the shape had disappeared, or never even existed at all.
-
Opening the doors, Dakota sees an optical blackness. Only the light from the hall allows you to know that there is space beyond the doors, shining on the floor and revealing a room beyond the frame. Nothing can be seen beyond that though.

Dakota finds two wooden double doors by the large stairway in the center of the main hall, he stands by it with Beatrix and Fredrick close by.
After Emily makes her introductions to the crowd, a silence falls upon the group, as if they are considering the proposed plan of action.
The silence is suddenly broken, a loud ‘Rap Rap Rap’ is heard from the double doors by the stairway. The frame shakes from the force of the knocking, and particles of dust fall down from the ceiling.
Then, all is quiet again.

Everyone else starts looking back and forth fidgety. You notice something that you should’ve noticed before, your friend, the one that invited you, they’re no where to be found!
A strong gust of wind blows through the woods, you can hear the mansion creek and grown in response.
Some of the guests start chattering amongst themselves in concerned hushed whispers.
Where is your host? -
THIS IS IMPORTANT TO THE STORY
Its a dark summer night, you and a number of other people are in an abandoned mansion tucked away deep in the forest. The reason why your here is to search for some supposedly lost treasure hidden away deep in this forgotten location. You where notified by one of your friends that this place existed, but was generally shunned by the local towns folk for reasons unknown. You where invited by this friend in order to find what could be looted from this mansion. You decided to take this invitation, feeling that there couldn’t be any harm to going on a little adventure. Upon arriving, you find that you weren’t he only one invited. Your friend had asked others to come along to help, some of these people you know and some you don’t. Everyone is gathered in the main hall of the decrepit mansion. Its gone quite with anticipation, for someone to make a decision. -

Gender: NA
Species: Dead God

Born from the unending abyss, Hupadgh Shogg is a primordial being of chaos and disorder. Like many abyssal creatures, it is only spoken of in the hushed voices of obscure scholars or in the inaudible ramblings of dark occultists. Besides visiting the dreams of mortals to instill madness and rotting the hearts of mighty kings and nobleman, it wishes to bring about the Four Kings of Fallen Eden in order to bring absolute corruption upon this realm. -
