“Hmmm… Dangerous wildlife? Everywhere. Rules? Mostly along the lines of ‘Don’t break my stuff’. Natural disasters? Nothing you need to worry about right now.”
“Their are a number of facilities stemming of from the station, if you need anything. Post office, motel and suites, mess hall etc. Their all ran by auto-clerks though (non self-aware robots that do general tasks).“I was about to say to these folk here that if they didn’t want to go to the cabins they could buy their own rooms.”
-
“Good.”
He flicks his newspaper, straightening it.
“I haven’t checked over their for quite some time now, so something might of held itself up in their.”
“If it doesn’t try to maul you immediately, you can probably just chase it out.”
*page flip*
“You look pretty capable though, for the most part.”
“If you don’t want to go through the trouble though…” -
“Hmmmm…” he says, rubbing his chin.
“There’s some old cabins out to the west of this bus station, only half a kilometer away.”
“Did you bring any weapons with you per chance?” -
“You have the right guy…”
He flips a page of his newspaper.
“So, what ya here for?” -
“Jeff.” the man replies, looking up from his paper, giving his new acquaintance a scrutinizing eye. He tilts his head to the side and looks at the girl behind him, barely even changing the expression on his face.

It’s a nice, quite day on Kleomina. The twin suns are shining, the weird lizard birds are squeaking, and there’s not single volcanic cloud in the sky.
Jeff is reclined in his chair, reading a newspaper and trying to block the suns light from his eyes as he faces the window of the help desk.
“Hmpf” he grumbles, as he flips a page. -
“Darn, this heist was a complete failure, time to cut my loses.”
The Doc pulls a lever and the two last wagons on the train disconnect, leaving behind the Chief and the defective wagon with the bike logged in it. The now much lighter caravan rapidly speeds away from the disconnected wagons. With no more control over them, the wagons wobble slightly before tumbling over in a violent crash. -
The caravan suddenly jolts to the left from the impact with the motor bike, the bike gets snagged onto the side and is being dragged with the wagons. The structural damage done to the frame causes the wagon to creek and splinter from the stress, a crash going at the speeds your heading does not sound optimal.
-
Two Mannequins jump out of the side of the wagon and onto Dipsticks bike, frantically trying to steer him into crashing.
-
The organ and mannequins get smashed to pieces by the flail attack.
“Stop breaking my stuff!” Yells Doc Oliver
Three more Mannequins jump you, they try to grad you by your arms, attempting to restrain you. -
The cannon balls are deflected away from your trajectory due to the barrage of bullets, but the Mannequins don’t let up on their performance and continue playing.
-
Looking behind him the Doc sneers with a distasteful face at the fast approaching duo.
“MD345! MD346! Get on the battle organ! Play them ‘Symphony of Cannons’ in G-major!”
A carnival organ pointed towards your general direction slowly rises up from one of the wagons, being piloted by one Mannequin on the keyboard and another turning a crank. The Mannequin starts playing a laud and fast tune, its deafening to the ear. Fast moving projectiles come out of the organs blast pipes with each key press, its vectors coming in your direction! -
As you drive into the field, you start to see a cloud of smoke in the distance, its being trailed behind the Doc and his wagon train.
