CALLIOPE CALIBORN
(Pronounced CAL-EYE OH PEE not CALEEOP)
Calliope Caliborn is (allegedly) 14 years old. Although it is suspected that she/he ranges from 13 to 17 years old. No one can actually be sure, because no one has ever actually seen her/his birth certificate. She/he attends a local Iowan high school and is in the 9th grade. [For the record, they are 15!]

☤When playing as Calliope, she is a 13-17 year old biological girl diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder and a mean case of fangirl syndrome. Her last name would be Caliborn, but Caliborn will mess things up by switching their names around.

☤When playing as Caliborn, he is a 13-17 year old biological boy diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder and a MEAN case of asshole syndrome. Identically, his last name would be Calliope. No one actually knows what their last name is due to it constantly being corrected as this or that.

☤When playing as either, Calliope Caliborn lives in a single room in an Inn free of charge curtosy of the inn owner who decided to take pity on her/him. Dr. Scratch is very kind indeed.

☤They dont know their actual age, because of the lack of proper guardians and a birth certificate. Between the two of them they agreed to be born on June 29 1996. There is nothing special about the date. But Caliborn violently rejects all 364 days of the year except this one.

☤Neither of them know where they came from. Its useless asking.

☤They both have a case of heavy rosacea. Even though they have dark skin, bright red circles are visible on their cheeks. It just looks like non shimmering blush to the passing eye. The only problem is, as Caliborn, girls think its cute. And he’s just not down with that.

☤Calliope’s DID manifests as a boy of identical age and nearly identical appearance who she has identified as her twin brother. He appears when she is stressed and during hours when she is unconscious. Meaning that Caliborn will come out when Calliope is unusually angry/sad/stressed and when she is sleeping. The switch is for the most part unnoticeable. If the facilities are available Caliborn will change into his own clothes. (Caliborn does breast bind if you are wondering.) If not (or if he forgets to pack them), he’ll terrorize his ‘sister’ by pretending to be her and being a general menace to society. Like taking off wet paint signs and turning off paused game consoles. (IM SO FuCKING BADASS.) In reality Caliborn isnt hurting anyone but himself. He isnt really even hurting Calliope. His stunts are so childish that no one actually gets angry at Calliope for the things he does. That could also be attributed to Calli being an absolute sweetheart. Because Caliborn often comes out when she is sleeping, Calliope does have an issue of falling asleep during the day, because he spends his days (nights) awake. (LIKE ANY OTHER NORMAL HuMAN BEING) Eventually their body will become so tired, that they will have to make a compromise and have a mutual sleeping day. Together they work in a local library.

☤Caliborn’s DID manifests as a girl of identical age and nearly identical appearance who he has reluctantly dubbed, his twin sister. Calliope appears to come out at random. Usually during the middle of the day. Calliope also manifests when Caliborn is asleep, leading to sleeping problems (look to calliopes paragraph). Caliborns personality changes are very noticeable due to him trying to fight the change. He isnt to fond of his twin sister, and he will begin to curse her out of she rears her cuddly little head. He doesnt have a problem verbally abusing any onlookers either. Calliope is extremely active when she is awake. She made sure to enrol him in the cosplay club (STuPID NERDS tumut.) whose meetings she will attend dressed as herself of course. She also made sure to get them both a job at the local library. Since Calliope makes an effort to store her clothes somewhere in his backpack, she never has the issue of having to walk around as her icky brother.

☤Calliope lost her hair in a DID indecent. She used to have a large afro. She straightened it, even after Caliborn warned her of the dangers of heat damage to hair. To retaliate, during his time Caliborn shaved their head. (NO MORE HAIR FOR YOu, YOu IRRESPONSIBLE BITCH.) Calliope now wears one of her cosplay wigs. Caliborn also has a distaste for her cosplaying hobby, but he tolerates it. When playing with Caliborn as a biological boy, they lost their hair in the same scenario. Only with Calliope dying Caliborns short hair. It didnt end well. Caliborn doesnt like chemicals in his hair.

☤Caliborn has an EXTREME distaste for sexual activities. Calliope does not share this with him. While Caliborn is active, Calliope will have WET DREAMS. If Caliborn idles in his thoughts too long, he’ll come across those MONSTROSITIES.

☤Calliope and Calliborn do share a large amount of their thoughts. But somehow they can keep secrets. They can also hide things from each other. Caliborn has a habit of hiding Calliopes art supplies and pencil boxes and such.

☤They are not able to both communicate at one time while concious. They can speak to each other in their heads. Giving that the one in their head is actually awake at the moment.

☤When basing as Calliope, Caliborn has serious issues about their situation. He is extremely touchy about who he informs about himself, and even then he will be a bit sticky about it. Caliborn is extremely seinsitive about it. At one point in her like Calliope has been to a psychologist. During this time Caliborn manifested and was told by a shrink that he didnt actually exist. This has done a number on his self esteem. As far as he is concerned, he IS a real person. And he WILL have his own life. Calliope does not share his issues when basing as Caliborn.

☤When basing as Caliborn, Calliope has a history of being a bit promiscuous. She has gone and lost his virginity to a girl that she found ‘nice’ and ‘pretty’. He has still not forgiven her for it.

☤Occasionally Caliborn will leave nasty little notepad messages for Calliope. Not on the computer. He has an actual notepad that throughout the day, he will scribble his feelings on for her to stew over. She just throws them away.

☤As far as their race goes, Caliborn doesnt like to talk about it. Calliope identifies as ‘Cherub’. Lord knows what the hell she means by that. For the record though, they are of African and Spanish Descent.

☤They are both relatively thin with a androgynous body and facial structure. Biological Calliope does possess breasts which do not pose a large problem to Caliborn. Just as Caliborns penis, doesnt really bother Calliope during her daily runnings.
