*blasted backwards, the figures hits the ground hard but rolls upright. They laugh* if that’s all you’ve got, then I can do this all day

*leaps back, moving into a low stance, the figure chuckles*

*the figure rolls forward and rises at buddy, a short blade in each hand. They swing upwards at his eyes*

*the figure throws a pair of circular blades in a wide arc, making them curve back towards them*

*the figure doesn’t flinch, but responds by throwing a small dagger toward buddy’s hand, then silently moves back*

*more laughter* you can’t even see me. How do you plan on throwing anything anywhere near me?

*offended at being compared to a kid, the figure harumphs*

*curses self silently, not realising they spoke out loud. The figure freezes, not daring to move*
