“Blessings upon your family. You have my gratitude” *kukuri bowed low, then followed Hana to the guest house*
-
“I swear, on the name of my family, that i will do all I can to assisst you. Would you have me leave today” kukuri enquired. She was eager to make allies in this new world, as she doubted she would find her clan here, if any had made it back.

“Maybe I should go. If some unnatural force is at work I may be able to stop it….”
-
“Sent them where? And why was it dangerous? What happens when night falls?” Kukuri was having difficulty staying seated. Why was this woman being so vague?!
-
*kukuri nodded and thought* “do you know the source of this plague? Maybe I could help. Also, how many bandits are there?”
-
*kukuri paused, thinking on these words.* “did….sachi say what she meant when she claimed the man willingly left?”
-
“Indeed, but doesn’t that worry you?do you not fear a worse fate occurring in the future? I do not wish to bring gloom upon you but it seems….. Unnatural” *kukuri looked the woman in the eye , sipping her tea*
-
“I am fine, thank you for your concern, but I am curious as to where all your men are. Do they have a separate village?” *kukuri focused on yui’s face, watching for any telltale signs of deceit.*
-
*having also removed her shoes and sat, kukuri smiled, yet her eyes stayed blank* I am kukuri yaogatami. And they are very nice, miss  Azuma ” *assessing her surroundings, kukuri guessed this was the elders house*
-
*caught off guard by the sudden change of tone, Kukuri allowed herself to be led away, and into the village. Yet, even now, no men were to be seen. Also, the grandmother make her wary. This seemed like a woman that would try to remove kukuri from the village somehow.*

“I have traveled from far away, and am somewhat lost. I was wondering if you could help me at all?” Kukuri surveyed the woman before her, planning her questions and answers in advance. She may be a yokai, but she had to be careful* “also……where are all the men?”
-
*this statement confused kukuri. The villagers were few and the rice fields bountiful. Did this curse cause crops to fail?* ” Why do you lack food, child, if you live in a village of rice?”
-
*kukuri shook her head and smiled* I am of the yaogatami family. Kukuri yaogatmi. It is nice to meet you. I appear to have lost my way. What is the name of this village *though she smiled, her eyes and voice remained dull*
-
*seeing the village, kukuri quickened her pace slightly, hoping to find answers. Yet as soon as she neared the outskirts she stopped like she’d hit a brick wall. A curse…..a powerful one, hung over this place like graveyard bell, tolling death to those who entered. She hesitated for a second, then pressed on. She was a yokai. This would not stop her.*

*kukuri decided to head north. That seemed best, even thought there were no tracks. Her clogs made little sound on the soft earth. She was having some difficulties keeping her blank face. But too much emotion wasn’t good. She had to remain in control. Oddly, she sensed a familiar presence. Glancing around she didn’t see anyone. She advanced cautiously*
