“Well… You could call me a swordswoman. I don’t belong to any category I suppose, seeing as I’m not part of the knighthood or even a guild anywhere.”
-
“I was heading to Hatrus when I heard the scout. I decided to check it out.” I say with a little sigh. “I see you handle dangerous materials, are you a scientist?”
-
I looked behind me just as the soldiers began to run, cursing under my breath. Apparently I still needed more practice. I began to run, weaving through the trees as fast as someone who knew them, meaning I knew them quite well. I held my cloak close, covering my head in the vain hope that it would render me completely invisible. At best it would just make the cloak visible again, but I tried anyways.

I walked into the room, glancing at Kissa and cringing slightly. I looked around and began to head towards the hallways. “Well, see ya later Sandy!” I waved behind my back as I headed towards the command room.
-
I put my sword away after shaking the darkness from it, and adjust my hood. “Crystal.” I shook your hand, keeping my head tilted downwards just enough to increase the amount of shadows around my face, but not enough so I couldn’t see.
-
I grunt in response, seeming unaffected by the darkness as I continued to push on my sword, aiming to take off his head.
-
I landed beside Sandy, having traveled over the trees using my wings, which were now hidden once more. I adjusted my sweater and approached the lycan, my voice soothing. “Shhh…. It’s ok, calm down. Can you tell me what’s got you all riled up?” I asked, holding out my hand gently.

I draw my sword and dart past you, attacking Grulorn, knowing he’s beyond saving and if I didn’t do something quick the others would be too. I slashed towards his head, hoping for a hit.

I sighed as I closed the book I had been reading. This was one of those times that it was just terrible to be a mage. Especially an untrained one. I slipped out the window, anticipating the reutn of my abusive mother. Ever since dad helped her have me and left, she’d pretty much disowned me. Aside from the constant attacking me. I just couldn’t understand why though, seeing as I was the one keeping the money flowing in the household. I even left gifts on the table whenever I went out. I walked along the branch of a tree, adjusting my cloak against the sudden chill. I knew they were burning everything magic somewhere nearby, but I didn’t want to go near it. I hopped to the ground and set off for the surrounding forest, hoping to get some mandatory training in. Even without a teacher I managed to perfect the most basic of spells, not much of an accomplishment but one nevertheless.
I used a checking spell to make sure no one was around, before pulling out some notes I kept stashed in my hidden pocket. I read them over twice before starting the invisibility spell. This one was taking me a long time to even succesfully do. I would always turn partially invisible, not the best way to avoid attention. I concentrated hard on my hand-made wand, probably one of the worst in the world, but still capable of tapping into the hidden energy around me, and began to mutter the spell.
-
Smiling, I turned to Sandy. “What do you say we head back? Or should we look for where those screams were coming from? I can check from atop a tree, but I doubt I’d be able to see much.”
-
“I see… Hey wanna come with us?” I reached out with a soft smile.

After a look of what could only be seen as astonishment, I looked at my bacon and reached out carefully, giving it up. “I don’t suppose you know the commander that runs this place, do you?” It was a trick question, because you would never know what the dog was, and I hadn’t seen her training with the other cadets.
-
I smiled in return. “It’s all good. And yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the dog. Pleased to meet you Sandy!” I held up the bacon. “I was thinking this could attract it, but I dunno.”
-
I turned around to look at the man, almost shocked that I hadn’t even sensed approaching.
“Oh, hey. I’m actually not lost you see.” I told him, with a small wave. “And I’m as much of a cadet as you are, well almost at least. I haven’t really notified her that I’m here yet, so you probably didn’t know I was even coming.” I adjust the pack on my back. “Name’s Crystal, I just arrived a few minutes ago and overheard the thing about the dog. I was trying to find it.” I waved the bacon through the air. -
I brought my arm up to cover my mouth, breathing through the sleeve to filter the gas. I leaped away from the infected as the gas began to take toll, landing beside the man. I watched as they began to fall over, recognizing the gas immediately.
