    Name: Crystal Dienna

    Age: 18

    Height: 5’11

Weight: 90 lbs (She’s VERY skinny. Just sayin :P)

Appearance: She has brown hair that falls down to her elbows, and golden eyes that seem to pierce ones soul. She’s extremely skinny and pale, making her look almost like she’s dying, but that’s just part of her DNA. She usually wears a loose sweater and pants, but will wear a tank top if needed. When she does wear a tank top, you can clearly see her blue and white wings stretching out from her back and claw marks on her arms.

Traits/info: She doesn’t like people knowing what she actually is, being ashamed of it and all, so she wears the sweater to cover it up. The only significant hint about it is her golden eyes, only received after she turned into an avian.

Group troop border: Group 1 Troop 2

I could tell someone was following the cadets, but debated it wasn’t a problem seeing as no one even knew about me yet. I sniffed the air, finding prints in the sand that I knew were a dogs, but couldn’t wuite figure out the size yet. I began to follow them based on where the toes were pointing.

I heard the scout’s cry even from the forest, and turned towards it. I cursed under my breath. “What human or animal would be foolish enough to wander into their territory?” I mutter, leaping through the branches at a fast speed. Within seconds I was within sight of the village, and in a few more I was on top of the villagers. My cloak hid the bulk of my body, including my face, which were covered in the markings of darkness. I proceeded to begin knocking out the infected, taking great care not to kill them, even as i took great care to make it so the human couldn’t see what I truly was. I left my sword in it’s sheath as I fought.

Dictating this was as good a time as any to start training, even without her knowledge, I slip into the shadows and begin my search, ears and eyes open for a puppy. Perhaps it would be easier if I had some food on me, dogs always do like food. I fished around in my pockets to find some bacon. “When’d that get there?” I mutter, then shrug off the question.

I sighed as I walked through the forest, hearing the guttural growls of animals around me. Great, another problem I didn’t need. I had yet to make it to Hatrus for the tournament, I didn’t need to be slowed down by these battles. I unsheathed my sword, getting ready for a battle that was soon to come even as I strengthened my aura.

I peeked into the training grounds, having just arrived not a minute earlier. My stuff was still draped on my back and shoulders, my bookbag pretty big for a mere training camp. Of course, it wasn’t just a mere training camp, it was THE training camp. Besides, being overready is better then not being ready, right? I looked at the woman I assumed was the leader, the assumption made from watching her shout and dislocate that kids wrist so easily it was like nothing. Maybe one day i would be like that, heck I was on my way already. My brown hair fell into my gold eyes and I swiftly brushed it away. I was average height, but skinny. This led a lot of people to underestimate me, one of many mistakes they make.

I myself like the Inheritance series, however I much prefer Jame Patterson’s Maximum Ride series. I’m still waiting for a movie of it though XD
So many trailers, yet no movie… Gah… It hurts, right in the heart.

I sighed as I put down the book I had been reading. No doubt this was the hundredth time I had turned those pages, hoping against all odds that the words would be different. Oh why did I have to have the blood of a mage? Or even more importantly… Why was I still completely untrained? It was my fathers job to do the ladder, yet he left without a trace, leaving me to my abusive mother. At that thought I heard a crash in the kitchen.
“Great, she’s home. Time to get going.” I opened the window next to me, slowly slipping out and shutting it behind me. I then proceeded to walk along the tree that grew just beside the house. It was bare, in preparation for winter. I pulled my shawl around my shoulders, tying it in a knot. The air was bitter with cold, making it almost hard to breathe. I hopped down and continued on, my silver hair gleaming in the light of the afternoon sun. Maybe something would happen today to make my life easier, or at least have more meaning.
