*Crewe walks into the hideout holding his slowly bleeding arm, blood runs down his forehead. So much for reading at the library today. If only he hadn’t opened that book. That dusty old tome is the reason he’s here. He slips and catches himself on a wall. He winces from hitting his arm* Anyone a doctor here?

*Crewe hides behind a crumbling pillar trying to stay out of view of the Beholder. Having only read about such creatures from books, seeing this monstrosity of a beast in real life was terrifying. Crewe looks back around to see the Beholder not looking his way. Crewe watches carefully before sending out three bolts of ice not at the Beholder but instead towards a half toppled over pillar next to it*
