He hears someone pounding on the door, he quickly walks over to the door and opens it

Derek wakes up, he takes the sword out of his bag and rests it in the corner, also taking two knives out and placing them in the pockets of his jeans. He goes down the stairs to find some food

“thanks” he says nodding, he goes up to the room and falls asleep on the bed

Derek hears some kind of shelter, he heads toward the source of the noise, and sees a mansion. HE goes up and knocks on the door

Derek reaches the city. He had been living in the country side, but has run low on food. Everyone in his family has been killed. When the zombies came, he barely escaped, thanks to his sword and knives. He hides in the alley ways, looking for food, killing a few zombies on the way
