Valenia nodded and headed the other way. After a while she heard a groan near her. She ran over to where she heard it and gasped. “THOMAS!!!!!! KANJI!! I found Thomas!!” She ran over to him and sat him up. She tried to summon water from her hands, but nothing worked. “Hm, seems our powers don’t work here.”
-
Valenia sat down and started crying, telling about not only Annie, but Akasha and Thomas as well. “Yea, Annie died a little after the poision nails hit her. I tried to bandage them, but it didn’t work. She did everything to save me in the forrest one day, saving me from a bad angel. She even took me under her wing whenever she barely knew me, and forgave me whenever I tried to kill Thomas…” Valenia smiled. “Oh, Thomas, a dear friend who I would have never imagined even considering to be an aquantiance a few weeks ago. He cared for Annie like a brother, or, better yet, like a person in love. Because of that he put up with my taunting him about being an angel, and, at one point, even left because I told him so. But he came back and found Annie and I, and now he’s dead because of me. I didn’t stop him from going outside to avenge Annie, and I couldn’t stop him when I fell.” She shook her head. “And then Akasha. Poor girl couldn’t even get out of the building. I didn’t know her that long, but Annie did the same with her, she took her in with us. I didn’t even look for her….” Valenia wipped her eyes and stood up suddently. “Wait! If their all dead then they must be out there somewhere! I’ve got to find them!”
-
“Um, I’ll pass. I’m not going back to that hellhole.” Valenia remebered she was in front of an elder. “I’m sorry. Excuse my language please. It hasen’t been the best mont and a half…” She looked at him and noticed scars along his arm. “Wait, were you in the game as well? I never got information on you….”
-
Valenia gasped and sat up. Immediatly reflexes kicked in and a hand instantly went to her throat, she laughed and stood up. “I’m alive!? I’m alive!!” She saw a young man sitting in the black sand nearby. She ran over to him. “Hey, do you know where we are?”
-
Valenia felt invisible hands around her neck starting to squeeze the breath out of her. She struggled, fighting for her breaths, but the hands were to strong. She couldn’t breath anymore, and her vision had retreated to blackness. She still felt the hands around her neck. She finaly couldn’t feel anything anymore, couldn’t hear anything anymore, she couldn’t even think. She finaly felt herself relax and stared at the clouds still falling, until finaly her gaze set on the stars beyond that.
-
Valenia shook with rage over Annie’s still lifeless body. She sent lightening from the sky and hit one of the nearest gods with it. “Why did you kill her!? It wasen’t right! She didn’t mean any harm to you all!” Valenia started throwing fireballs in random places out of rage.
-
“THOMAS!” Valenia stood to run after him, but her leg fell from underneath him. She only watched him as he took a batter stance. “Thomas, please! I can’t lose you as well.” Valenia tried to get up again with fail. She just stared at him, then turned back to Annie. “I wish you were here.” Valenia said. A tear falling down her chin.
-
Valenia saw something move and stood up. “Thomas!” She sighed and, making sure Annie was securely upright, ran over to help Thomas up. “Oh my god, I thought you were dead.” She looked at the remains of the orphanage. “Did you see Akasha after the orphanage, er-well, fell?” She helped him sit up. Valenia then found a cup nearby and filled it with water out of her hand. She handed it to him. “Drink this, it’ll help get toxins out.”
-
“ANNIE!” Valenia ran over to her as fast s she could, despite her bloodied leg from being thrown from the orphanage. She had made it to the window when a god threw it, so she managed to escape. She had no idea what had happened to Akasha or Thomas. “Annie? Annie are you alright!?” Valenia sat Annie up into a sitting position, but almost dropped her to puke. “Oh my god! Annie your chest!”
-
“ARE YOU INSANE!?” Valenia flew out the window, dodging countless gods and setting fire to ones that got in her way. She finally reached the roof Annie was on and grabbed her hand. “Annie, this is SUICIDE! You don’t know what they’re capable of!!”
-
“Um Annie? That’s not in your head…That’s real.” Valenia turned towards Annie and Akasha. She pointed to Thomas. “We’ve got to get him out of here, he’s injured.” Valenia then turned towards a small book and pressed a small triangle in the center of it. “I hope these goddammn gods know that I’m fucking sick of this game about know.” A small cabinet opened in the wall and Valenia got out a fairly large backpack. She closed the compartment and turned towards the others. “It arrived here at the begining of the game. I’ve never looked at it, but I think it’ll come in handy for this emergency, now pack up your stuff… We’re leving in about three minutes.”

Valenia stared at the Surface, thinking hard at what she was seeing. She was distracted when she noticed a unique sign, what looked like a mix of the devil’s and angel’s sign together. She walked over to Akasha and quietly discussed her thoughts with her, not wanting to interrupt the Tannie scene in front of her Wow, now I have a name for them, I’m going mental She thought. “Hey, look at this.” Valenia pointed to the symbol and the girl on the screen they had encounted earlier. “The game controlers don’t have this kind of symbol, they have their own, protector one I’ve noticed. This girl has an entirely different symbol than i’ve seen in any-” Valenia turned the page on the Surface, and automatically shook her head. “This wasn’t here before…” She stared at what appeared to be a boy, a boy that looked like an angel, but had that same confusing symbol by his head. She got a very bad feeling as she turned to Akasha. “Akasha, I think some new people have entered the game, and I don’t think they’re going to play as nice…”

“Oh, hero boy finally got a sword…” Valenia glared at Thomas and stood somewhat in front of Annie and Akasha. “Did you enjoy your little hiding break?”
