I turned around to see him walk slowly close to where we were all standing. He was unmistakable by those pit-black eyes, pale skin, and claws as black as his eyes. He spotted Sohana and the others, and made his way to them. “Hey! Haven’t seen a little faerie have you? About this tall, skins unaturally pale? She goes by the name ‘Violeta’? Ran away from her parents, nasty little thing. They called on me to come find her.” I pause in fear, but manage to make my way slowly behind a tree. About halfway there, though, I step in a small puddle of water. It was extremely quiet, but it was enough. He turned on his horse and looked me dead in the eyes. I did the one thing I was taught to do in this situation. I threw a fireball at his eyes and ran as fast as any other faerie in my shoes would have done.

“Um……he was riding on his horse close to the forrest when I escaped….Which was close to here……” I paused and heard a noise, suddenly turning invisible.

“Whatever makes you believe I’m here for something, my dear Sohana?” I laughed, but then grew serious. “Ok, listen. I was kidnapped by this evil, wierd, creepy guy because I’m a rare faerie, since I have the power of all elements….. Well, let’s just say I somehow escaped, and now he’s out here somewhere hunting me. All I ask is this to be a safe haven for me until I find my clan again.” I stopped since I ran out of breath and looked up to see their faces. It was very, very rare a fae ever asked other creatures for help, but in a dire situation like this, I gladly came to the conclusion that it didn’t matter anymore. “Stupid truth-binding….” I muttered under my breath, along with a few colorful words to help along the flurry. I didn’t notice I had set the little flower, and the other flowers around it, on fire until the cat-like creature gasped. I quickly muttered an appology to the flowers and broke off the fire, restoring them to their natural state.

I tilted my head slightly, and smiled at Sohana. “You know, the Fair Folk may be bound to speak truths, but that doesn’t mean we’re completely separated from lies. We can single out liars before they even know the crime they’ve committed. I figured you should all know that little tip before you try to get a secret past a faerie.” I grinned at Sohana, who was glancing towards a couple of dark dyraids. “I wouldn’t bother them, if I were you. Nasty little creatures they are.”

The short, silver-skinned faerie appeared from her leaning position in the corner. “Well, since everyone else is forced to do this, I might as well too. I’m Violet, I’m obviously an elemental faerie, but, just as a fun fact, I can also control tempurature.” She nodded her head towards the head of the house and then retured to her corner.

“Thank you,” I nodded and bowed slightly to ‘weary traveler’, Whom my ancestors had told me she was named Sohana, and glanced at all the others, my gaze landing on the neko. “I didn’t know you had such……animal-like creatures.” I smiled at the neko with my sharp, pointed, white teeth. “Well, I’m sure you needed something for food…..Isn’t that right, Sohana? Poor Felix…..” I glanced up a brief second to see their astonished faces.

I glanced at the ‘weary traveler’ and smiled. “I respect your wishes of an anonymous name, but please, you need not to be so rude and vain. You could at least shake my hand, which I have extended before you.” I extended my shiny, webbed hand to the traevler and tilted my hand. “Unless you wish to go against faerie customs and offend me, which everyone knows what happens to people who offend faeries.” I remained still and glanced at the others, who had slowly gathered around in a circle.

“And who are you exactly?” I appeared and looked at the suprised figures I had been following for a while now. I extended a hand and flipped my silver hair. “Violeta Silverleaf, Faerie of the Elements. You all are?”
