Arthur’s Birthday: May 6th.

Reasons behind this:
I portray Arthur as a human about 99.9% of the time. If you ask me to RP, I’ll most likely act as if they’re humans and have no history country-wise.
To work in the birthday, I just wanted him to have a different one, being human. April 23rd has to do with England, not with Arthur. So I figured I might as well change it to something that fits him the best. England’s favorite flower is a rose, roses remind me of spring, spring reminds me of May, and May 6th is my real birthday. That’s how I made the connection.

Hello, I’m Arthur. I’m actually quite alright, if you were wondering. I’d love to discuss things with you, if we did it properly.
One thing I’d like to point out, I’m not some cutesy mew mew. If that’s what you are looking for, I don’t care. I’m not some pawn for you to play with.
If you are an improper American, or an annoying frog, I’d like to be left /alone./. I’d prefer to be left with the sane population.
I am a gentleman, and nothing less. I will NOT give up on grammar because you cannot find it in your heart to care, and I do have my pride. No asking me to strip, or ‘get your game on.’ It’s useless and quite frankly, embarrassing. I’m not into that, and I won’t embarrass myself for your amusement.
I’d also appreciate it if you acknowledge my existence once in a while. I love to be left alone, but don’t talk to me once and refuse to accept my communication attempts ever again.

Arthur:

As he covered, he isn’t some kyaa fanboy. Yes, he blushes. Yes, he is a tsundere, but no, he won’t blush simply because you touch him. Meaning, he’ll get embarrassed fairly easily and quickly when direct affection is showed towards him, especially around others, and will resort to hitting or kicking the other. This will often and mostly occur towards males. He also tends to scowl often, glare, and get upset or annoyed with certain people, or feel antagonized by the littlest annoyances.

Arthur has always had a pet peeve for people being loud around him, meaning he’ll get irritated and point it out very impolitely. Along with that tick, he absolutely despises when he’s called by a nickname, such as Artie or Iggy. In his eyes, he had taken on the name proudly, and is happy to sport it.

One nickname he does love, however, is babe. Since Arthur has an inwardly fear of being rejected or left, the mainstream nickname makes him feel confident he won’t be left in the gutters.

Arthur enjoys painting, and his small house he lives in is coated ceiling to floor in paintings he has done of fairies, sprites, leprechauns, unicorns, and his favorite, bunnies.
Arthur loves bunnies because of their gentle nature- when they’re purely human, he grew up with a pet bunny named Sprickle- and he loves things that are soft.

He is rather proud, and will strive to keep his pride, whether it means being a bit violent at times or not, as stated above. Arthur turns hostile towards people that threaten to question his dominance he believes is present, though, as with every other situation, he is softer on ladies. He used to try to charm them when he was in his rebellion and pirate days.

Arthur:
He’s like any other typical Arthur, emerald bright eyes that sparkle when he’s excited, pleased, or in a neutral mood; fair skin; and blond hair. He’s not particularly short, but many nations tower above them because of their pure build.

He’s taller than a woman, and about the same type build. He’s not especially curvy(But he does have them), but is slender.

This doesn’t mean he’s weak. He can be strong if he so wishes, but never requires his full strength.

He really has muscles in his upper arms, and has strong legs. Of course he still has the little bit of flab around his stomach, since he’s not agile or has good stamina.

He has extreme bed head in the mornings, and works forever to smooth it down, though it stays messy and unmanageable all day.

He has one tattoo on the inside of his thigh from his more daring days, in the shape of a small dragon he had gotten while drunk. He also has a small hole through the skin above his bellybutton where he used to have a piercing.

There’s a scar under the front of his hair-line when he was grazed in battle some time ago that is quickly fading.

He has an x-mark on his shoulder that is very prominent that he acquired when being brought down for minutes in his pirate days. It was a mark showing he had been beaten by the dreaded Spaniard, who crossed the Pirate’s skin with Arthur’s own sword for shame, but he escaped the situation and left without further injury. There are fading scars from such moments, as he’s not invincible, but they aren’t noticeable.

Also, more recently, when attempting a spell, Arthur had slashed a 6 inch cut down his arm with a knife, and burned the bottoms of his feet, his lower back, his ankles and calves the ends of his hair, his nose, his neck and under his right eye, though that has begun fading. The worst damage was the cut, which left a white mark trailing down his arm from it, and his skin peels very easily and is sensitive, but he’s otherwise fine and it won’t affect him. You can just tell the worst burn spots, on his lower back, that were left untreated for quite a bit.

Clothing:

His favorite pajama wear is a silk, cherry red 2 piece with long sleeves and lengthy pant legs.
His favorite outfit is a button down, white dress-shirt, along with a plaid, blue sweater vest over top. He also has khaki pants and jet black pants that complete it.

At all times when he’s seen, however, excluding swimming, he will always be wearing a formal shirt accompanied by a coat. When he’s alone, Arthur enjoys lazing around in shorts and a t-shirt, specifically on weekends. Pajama days are common for him, as he won’t get dressed and ready first thing in the morning.

Arthur has a box of everything to do with unicorns and fairies; figures, paintings, drawings, toys, pillows, you name it. And he’s overly protective of his collection.
In reality, it’s just because he feels lonely, and with his friends being there to occupy his time, he gets frustrated when he can’t ‘see’ them. So he always wants them near.

‣ Arthur’s favorite band IS and always WILL BE The Beatles. His favorite song is Blackbird, because it’s a beautiful song. He knows every word to most of their songs, and the tune to the others.

‣ Arthur still plays the guitar, though he only knows a few songs.
One of those is Can’t Stand it by Never shout never. That, and he plays various pieces on violin.

‣ Arthur would have liked to become an architect, and dreamed of constructing buildings from scratch when he was younger.

‣ Arthur is an author. Forever. He /loves/ writing. He’ll scribble on everything and anything.
But as soon as he gets a story idea, he gets writer’s block, and ditches it.

‣ Arthur’s favorite kid show is Courage the Cowardly Dog, because he’s into the supernatural vibe of the entire show. While he usually looks down upon American shows- especially cartoons- he can’t help but find himself watching it every now and again, and owns a season of it on DVD.

‣ Arthur thinks children are nice, but he can’t become emotionally attached to one. He’s too scared of having to watch the grow up.

‣ Arthur’s favorite dessert is white chocolate cake. It can’t be covered in frosting, or horribly dry, though. That with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is perfect.

Dreams: Arthur has always wanted to complete an autobiography to be passed down to his children and kept throughout the family, so even if he died, he’d still be alive in a sense.
Arthur would also like to keep a journal or diary, especially of his dreams. They help him write the songs he keeps under his pillow, give him story ideas, and he enjoys just writing out his thoughts.

Fears: Arthur doesn’t exactly like lightning because it follows with thunder. He’s not scared of it, but it sets him on edge. Loud, booming noises aren’t exactly his thing.
When he’s a country- I tend to RP Arthur as a human- they remind him of a fireworks, which he thinks of as July 4th. And however cheesy, July 4th is a bad memory for him.
He tends to be very depressed on America’s Independence day, and shut up in his room. It wounded his pride, so it isn’t completely because he lost him.

‣Snowdrop: Arthur’s pet rabbit. It’s a male, and he adopted it a few years back when he was feeling lonely. The rabbit is only about 1 foot when standing. He’s small, easily blends into white objects because of his size, and mostly white fur, though it does have a few black spots along his head and back. Snowdrop is usually affectionate, and only bites when he feels threatened, though he can also be stubborn at points.

Relationships:

Francis: (My FrUk Headcannon)
Though he shows a more violent side to the Frenchman, he actually does care for him and consider him a close friend; unknowing to the fact he may harbor feelings for him. He’s more abusive towards Francis, because he figures he isn’t sensitive to those types of things.
Arthur was grateful for the days he was raised by Francis and taught of the ways of the country life, but the wars between them shattered many ties, as well as built new ones when concluded.

Alfred:
Oh, the idiot.
Arthur may not show it, but he appreciates the slight wild tinge he adds to his life. He tries to teach him proper english and insists he uses it, but he knows theres no point in changing the American. Partly because of how stubborn he is, and partly because he wants him to stay the same. (More used for UsUk RPs)
Arthur doesn’t regret letting Alfred escape him during the revolutionary war, as he sees the American grow into the strong man he has become. Even if it had cost him all the money, his pride, and extreme sadness. He’s still bitter on the topic, prefers not think back on it, and will snap if it’s brought up. It hurt his pride, to which he gets angry at. Arthur still adores thinking back on the young self of Alfred, despite this, and constantly reminisces on the days that he felt important in someone’s life.

Gilbert:
What can be said? Arthur enjoys his company at times, but he won’t let it show through. Gilbert does annoy him at points, as he figures Gilbert is almost incapable at love or affection.
It’s foggy and not very important to him, but Arthur has never forgotten the Anglo-Prussian alliance from the Seven Years’ War. He feels close to him, because when it ended, the bond still remained strong.

Ludwig:
Though they may not interact often, Arthur appreciates Ludwig’s company. He hopes they may be able to become close friends in the future.
He has not forgotten world war 2, because the war was very scarring to him, along with the other countries. He still has nightmares of Germany during the two world wars.

Feliciano: He wonders about the bubbly Italian at times, not sure whether he should be worried about his state of mind or not. He thinks of him as ditsy, and won’t admit it, but he acts protective over him when he’s unsure of what will to come. If it’s something like tying his shoe, Arthur will ditch Feliciano while shaking his head. The idea of being close to Arthur feels odd, yet he’ll still consider him a friend and will talk to him of his own free-will.

Matthew:
Arthur tries to protect Matthew, though it’s not the easiest when he can’t tell him apart from Alfred very well. He does recognize him 99% of the time, but may make a slip up if his long hair or curl is hidden. He feels he’s always been kind to Matthew, and wishes to continue that forever.
Also has possible feelings for the boy.
He trusts him the most out of everyone as a friend to convey secrets in.
Arthur loved having Matthew there for company and another source of income back when it was British rule over North America, and soon after he lost power of America, memories of Matthew soon meant nothing as he was overcome in grief. Because of that, their talking faded to brief notices, which led to Matthew becoming independent.
