*October had arrived silently, a light chill in the air, leaves turning orange and yellow and in Hades the spirits could be felt growing restless as they anticipated the annual opening of the gates. Daniel Kurou made sure to be on guard as this time came closer for them. He felt anxious since he had to leave his wife Cindy Cyan and his son behind while he fulfilled his yearly duties. He knew Cindy Cyan would give birth to the twins soon but he could not be there for their birth. He knew that Cindy Cyan understood but he still felt somewhat guilty. He sat for a moment to meditate, realizing that if he did not clear his mind for a while of this guilt that it would affect his work. He sat in one of the trees in Hades keeping an eye on the restless spirits.*

*Daniel Crow used his scythe to cut away at the strange and disgusting looking creatures that seemed to close to the hide out. He wanted to keep them from eating or poisoning the refugees. After he had cleared enough of them from the area and sent the damned souls of the creature to their maker. He entered the hide out. He began to look around for the familiar faces of Ailane’s bandmates.* I’ll check the ledger nyan! See if their names pop up! *he sat down to look and asked around if anyone had seen them. He got a confirmation from someone there and he continued to walk deeper into the refugee warehouse.*
