*Billboard: Sick of nightmares? Need them beaten up? Wanna beat em up yourself? If you answered yes to any of those, then come on down to Dreamwalker HQ, now recruiting! We have the means, you have the power!*

// If you’re planning on making a dream space which is heavy on horror (I’d do an example but tbh I suck at horror), with gory/disturbing themes, I recommend adding the [Horror] tag to the title so people more on the squeamish side can avoid them.
Now if only there were a way to hide their posts from news feeds…

*Apple arrives midway through a song at the back of the crowd and jumps, trying to use her ladybug wings to hover and get a good view.* Oh wowie, that’s Ailane’s band! Wooooo! *She waves around a red glowstick to the rhythm of the song*

//Dream Space Guidelines:
Excessive damage to terrain or inhabitants of a Dream Space will result in psychological damage to the dreamer. Don’t be too reckless now.
More than one Dreamwalker may enter a Dream Space, but try to avoid crowding it up. Take turns if you must.
The dreamer may appear within their own Dream Space as a supporting character.
If the dreamer wakes up, all Dreamwalkers will be ejected from the dream. This will likely happen if the dreamer dies within the Dream Space, or 7-8 hours after falling asleep.
If a Dreamwalker dies within the Dream Space, they will be ejected from the dream feeling a sensation of fatigue and shock. This may prevent them from re-entering for a while.
The Nightmare Curse manifests itself as a “boss monster”, typically matching the dreamer’s fears.
The Nightmare Curse usually comes with smaller monsters scattered about the Dream Space.
The Nightmare Curse is usually played by the same actor as the dreamer.
Defeating the Nightmare Curse will cause the dream to revert to a peaceful setting, wiping out all nightmare monsters. It is best to exit at this point, but you may throw a party if you wish.
The Nightmare Curse doesn’t necessarily need to be beaten in one night. Progress is generally saved between nights, although the curse recovers a little between nights.

*Apple’s room has a big sticker on the door with the her name written in light green bubble writing in front of an image of a red apple.
Inside, the carpet is plain and grass green and the walls are plain pink, giving the room a sort of watermelon feel.
The bed is fairly small and comes with with a pink duvet, and it has a bunch of sleeping bags packed underneath it for slumber parties. The bedside table has a reading lamp, a pen and her current diary on it. Just above the bed is a poster of a group of superheroes known as the Chroma Rangers (who ofc are just a parody of the Power Rangers from Apple’s old world) doing a heroic ensemble pose.
There’s plenty of floor space (for slumber parties of course) and a pile of board games behind the door, including Dominoes, Twister and Scrabble.
Apple has a desk by the window, with a laptop resting on top of it. Beside that there is a set of bookshelves, with a small ant farm in a glass tank on the bottom shelf, several bug plushies with big eyes on the shelf above that, and school books on the 3rd and 4th shelves. Previously filled up diaries are kept on the 2nd shelf beside the plushies.
On the windowsill is a set of potted strawberry plants, so that area of the room ends up smelling like strawberry.
A mirror hangs on the wall above a little dressing table with a hairbrush, nail clippers and various other hygiene items on it.
The room also has a mini-fridge, mostly filled with lettuce, berries and fizzy drinks. There is also a small closet where Apple keeps a spare set of clothes and her pyjamas.*
//Whew, that was pretty fun to write ^^

// Heya, I just wanted to add that for some people, the opposite is true. When I started out I was uncomfortable talking to people through publicly available posts and would much rather use the inbox.
I think we should make a habit to list our preferred method of direct contact on our profiles (if we have a preference) so that people know how to send their first message to us. I’m now comfortable enough to be contacted either way just so long as you’re polite about it ^-^b
Due to the current inbox bug though, you probably want to think twice about using it. -
// I was new once too, actually still am ^-^;
Tama, Tamaki and Leuko were the ones who helped me out in the same way so I’d like to thank them. Helena’s welcome guide helped a lot too.
Sonar and Ecko are doing a great job with the guidance as well, and I’m sure there are many of us Skyrians (Skyrians? Is that a word?) doing the same.
I’m proud to be part of such a friendly and helpful community 😀 -
// Thankee for helping out. Really appreciate it ^-^

// Oh yeah, nobody should be afraid to add new topics either. This can be done by going to the bottom of the topics list. There’ll be a couple of boxes there for you to type up the first post of your new forum topic.

Hai: Yes. (This one always catches me out because I tended to use it as a slightly elongated “hi”.)
