Toshizo Hijikata (土方歳三): Mokuroku (目録, higher rank) and the vice commander of Shinsengumi. Sword style “Tennenrishinryu (天然理心流)”

Soji Okita (沖田総司): Menkyo Kaiden (免許皆伝, the master) and chief instructor of the Dojo. The captain of 1st unit of Shinsengumi. Sword style “Tennenrishinryu (天然理心流)”

Shinpachi Nagakura (永倉新八): The guest sword master of the dojo. The captain of 2nd unit of Shinsengumi. Sword style “ShintoMunenryu (神道無念流)”
