Tom:
How uncouth. His silliness is almost to be envied at.
Tom returned to his dorm, feeling the effects of overexertion. In the end, it was less than Tom thought it would be, and he returned to the classroom.
Aena:
“Favorite music?I am certainly capable of picking favorites, and I know what music is. I just don’t know how to enjoy it.”
In the end, Aena wrote three pages of why she liked classical music. It was the only one she was able to appreciate because of the lack of lyrics and skillful composing it took to create it. Aena had heard a lot of it when her mind was in the initial stages of absorbing information.
“Ok. I guess it’s my time to teach~ but there are barely any students here.”

Tom:
“Don’t worry,” he said as he wrung his coat. “I still have a trick up my sleeve.”
Tom made a sculpture out of flame. He started with a trail of flame that was at least 20 feet long about 80 feet in the air. Next, a thick head appeared at one of the ends, and it faced downwards. Next he carefully created feet and claws, and then the long hairs that a dragon has on its head. Finally, he created gaps for eyes and a mouth. He made it spew fire into the air, and it was made clearly visible because it was white hot as compared to rest of the body. He made sure that the heat, nor the embers reached anything.
-
Tom:
“Hmm, you didn’t like my sculpture of you? Oh well. I can’t do anything flashy like that.”
Tom chose something light, like water and pigments, so he could manipulate them freely. He made the water appear above his head, and made it appear to flow in a sphere. Then he added blue dye to it. He continued to make floating spheres of water until he had all colors of the rainbow. He made a larger clear one, and made the others revolve around it. To top it off, he transmuted fuel on top of the spheres and made it burn in the corresponding colors.
“I may have lied.”

Aena:
“I should stop whoever’s doing that, shouldn’t I? At the very least this would be a productive way to get rid of their temperaments, rather than having them shoot magic at each other, right, Mr. Haru?”
Tom:
“Magic? You call that magic. You should have seen me last year. Enough with the fireworks. Show me what else you can do?”
Tom made life-size statues of himself, Jerrel, Takra, Miwa, Kuze, Ren, and Ludwig. He made the own of himself appear to be animated by constantly reconstituting it. It walked up to Ren and smiled realistically, as it crossed its arms.
-
Aena:
Aena tried again, encouraged by Haru’s carefree attitude. This time she was able to make a chunk of unrefined glass, but it was still barely larger than her steel fingertips.
Tom:
Tom saw the fireworks, and felt his superiority complex tingle. It was a family thing, and it sporadically made Tom think that he had to be the best. He walked outside and set a grass lawn on fire. He then materialized various metal salts in the air above them, and set them ablaze with the remaining energy. The sky was filled with violets, blues, and reds, all of which took elaborate shapes, like stars and decagons. He finished with a blast of ionized air, perfectly mimicking the Northern Lights. He would normally be arrested for setting so much stuff on fire, but the school healed itself anyway. He sensed that Ren was the one responsible for the first ones.
Top that, Tango.

Xander left without more than a “goodbye”. Not even the most Robin Hood-esque of rogues should settle to be with other person. “Thank you for taking care of me.”

Tom:
In an attempt to one-up himself. He took his sculpture and reshaped it into a figurine of a young girl that was dressed similarly to Tom. He wouldn’t allow for any mistakes to happen this time, and it came out quite detailed. In one hand, it held a sword, but in the other it held a pillow. Yes, that would match her personality.
Aena:
“I’ve read about alchemy, but only in works of fiction. Can a non-living person perform it?”
Aena moved her arms and hands as she was told. There was single rip in her right arm just above her sleeve, and her metallic carapace showed. In a moment of pure surprise, some of the sand did change into glass, but such a small amount that everyone besides her would have to strain their eyes to see it.
“It doesn’t seem I had much success,”
-
Tom:
Tom took out his chalk and drew the circle, as he had done many times. He added more sand than Haru prescribed, and took out a lighter to provide energy, as he could no longer provide his own.
A simple crystallization and structure changing process, easy.
Tom not only succeeded in his pseudo-transmutation, but he made the glass structure look very much like his initials. It wasn’t perfect though, because although the edges were straight, there was a discolor in the T’s cross.
Aena:
Aena wasn’t sure if she could even perform alchemy, but she traced the circle as perfectly as she could from the board and added the sand, “I’m not sure on what to do next.”
-
Aena:
Aena took his silence as compliance as she made sure of Mr. Bryne’s wounds. Then she returned to the classroom. She asked her superiors, Mr. Haru and Mr. Q, “Could I have a little time to demonstrate something after you are done teaching.”
Tom:
Tom truly saw Bryne as a cool guy, not knowing whether or not he was the strongest. When the kitsune girl mentioned an incident (which Tom wasn’t a part of) his curiosity was stimulated. He even saw Aena offer him painkiller. “Do you need restoration?”
-
Tom:
Tom felt that he had practiced enough. He returned back to the classroom, but not before walking past Ludwig and another student. His psions were dark and refined, like a magician’s. Tom took little notice, as they’re were a lot of people like that. Ludwig’s though were calm and mundane, if not too numerous for a human.
Aena:
Aena returned to where Mr. Q and Mr. Haru were and asked them whether she could go next in her presentation after they were done.
-
Tom:
Tom decided he was finished eating, while he had barely touched his food. He went out and found the gym where he had his little target set up and practiced his shooting. He was quite happy with his results, believing that he was the quickest and most accurate marksman.
Aena:
Aena returned with the bandages in hand but didn’t apply them, “Okay, I’m ready to apply them.” She had to make sure that no one else was nearby, as doing so would ruin everyone’s appetite.
-
Tom:
Tom listened carefully as he ate.
What a shame, it seems like nearly everyone has magical power except for me. If I was able to lose my power so easily, there may be a way for me to restore it.
Aena:
“Hmm. Well Mr. Bryne, I have some compression bandages, I should bring those. I have a little epsom salt If you want to use it,” she said as she exited.
-
Tom:
“Is that so? I’ve only recently learned alchemy, and I thought that my knowledge of chemistry helped me greatly. My alchemy may not be the same as what the teacher’s have in mind, but I suppose I’m knowledgeable enough.”
Aena:
“Mr. Bryne, what happened? Right away, right away.”
She applied bandages and antiseptic. She offered him a painkiller. She tried to look at the wound to see if he needed anymore.
“You were able to walk here, but with a limp. How would you rate your pain? Do you feel like anything is sprained or broken? I could bring a cast,” She paused.
“This is an animal incident. We’re you looking after me in the forest?”
-
Xander watched in horror as Gekido writhes on the floor. It was an unspoken rule of rogue’s honor: never steal from corpse.
-
Aena:
“Of course, Mr. Bryne,” She replied. Aena found all that she needed within two minutes, and then soon she ran into wolf. She remained calm and left when it stayed. She knew a bad move could get her into trouble, and even if she was able to fend it off it would be pointless. She was holding various plants in her arms and scratched her hand on a branch. She tried to apply first-aid but then she realized that she couldn’t. The experience of the forest was too preoccupying. She returned and sat next to the students for lunch, not touching the food.
Tom:
Tom wanted to say how disappointing the trip was, but that would be unkind to Aena, who ran into unexpected trouble. He walked to the cafeteria by himself after the others rushed off. He tried his best to socialize with the other students, “Did anyone learn anything during the alchemy lesson?’
