Andaluza sat down on the bench. “It’ll be amazing if we tied.” Andaluza pulled out the book and put it on a pedestal and it started floating. He then opened the page. “Alright. Apollo, you go first. If your head explodes, we’ll leave.”

Andaluza runs to the room, trying to beat Apollo there.

Andaluza walked out with Faye. “Duh, nobody cares.” Andaluza stared at the facility and then the little eye. “Cartographer? What does it do, map things out?” Andaluza scoffed and plopped down in front of the supercomputer. “So, what now?” Andaluza started typing up random things and messing with the panes.

Andaluza ran out and stared out the window. “Increase speed by 1 inchmeter!”

Andaluza pulled up the holodesk and selected the asteroid that Apollo’s facility was lodged on. “There it is! Turn the ship around and dock into it!”

Andaluza looked at a glass of water. “Not black burn, but set on fire. Basically waterproof fire. Highly flammable.”

Andaluza counted the logic and simply shrugged. “Well, most of the galaxy is ok with Ascendii, but views them as a threat. That’s why many of their abilities were lost in time. I’m keeping this book though. Whichever superpower wanted these books before us, too bad it’s ours now. A lot of the stuff in here is bullshit. Who would want to be able to burn water?”

Pressurized Exhalation: Release a strong gust of wind from your lungs. Requires no electrokinetic experience. Take in a deep breath, then breathe in even more air. Hold your breath and compress your chest. Then forcefully exhale it. Lasts for about 10 seconds to a minute. Side effects may include small dizziness from lack of air or lung tearing if not done properly.

Andaluza came back into the cockpit with a book. “Apollo, this book has a full list of possible Ascendii abilities. Why would anyone be having this in a civilian jet? Are Ascendii in other parts of the universe?”

Andaluza took a moment to work out the math and looked out the window. “So, this facility of yours. It has an onboard navigation system, right? Because if it moves that fast, we might be in some real trouble. Especially since YOU’RE at the stick!”

Andaluza slid into the Z-50 and signaled Faye to come onboard. “Apollo, do your thing.”

Andaluza had added more energy to the sphere, causing more crackling opacity as well as a more purple hue. “It’s cooling down! Better launch it fast.”

Andaluza stared terrified at Pandora. “Get that feather away from me!” He began running up the alley, jumping on the walls, forgetting he could fly. “That’s scary!”

Andaluza watched Katherine and Malice depart. “Well, they were pretty much dead weights anyways. It would be catastrophic if someone like Jack left. Oh wait…”
