Andaluza shoved Jack’s hand away and gave him a hug, similar to Apollo does. “I’m so sorry. Midzog. I want him gone. He’s not a father, he’s an illegal guardian.”

Andaluza followed Jack up to the top and talked angrily. “What do you want? We’re supposed to be after Midzog.”

Andaluza looked at the two dressed in thermal underwear. “Apollo designed them. They must be good.” Andaluza spoke in a sarcastic drawl.

Andaluza shot a dirty look at Apollo. “I didn’t know you cared for us, so I decided we’d be invading anyways. You’re not as dangerous as I thought, eh?”

Andaluza shook his head and stowed the bottle away. “You’ll never accept me with that thing on you.”

Andaluza looked angrily at Jack. “I am not a murderer, Mr. Monroe. I was a man who harassed others in forms of torture. I’m going to set things right, I assure you. I’m even starting now, with you.” Andaluza took out a small bottle of a red liquid. “Healing scars require physical disappearance first, then the mental aspect comes in. Where did I burn you when we last encountered? I believe it was an attempt to kill you by burning your heart.”

Andaluza smiled back at Faye. “I realized I was doing the same. Now, I am where I should be.” Andaluza walked over to Jack. “I feel honored to join The Keepers. I guess you want me in here as well.” Andaluza grabbed Jack’s hand in a formal handshake.

Andaluza worriedly looked at Faye. “Mask, are you alright? Back then you were as tough as an armadillo.” Andaluza liked the word “armadillo.” Sounds like a tank that travels at over 200 miles an hour.

Andaluza lifted Jack off of him and threw him at the silverware counter. “Don’t make me beat your ass again, you hear? I’m on your side and I’m going to make this work.”

Andaluza realized he was wearing a human T-shirt that made every single muscle in his body appear prominent. “Oh, no don’t take it that way. I thought I look scarier like this.” Andaluza threw Faye half of a chocolate bar that Apollo gave him earlier during the trip.
