Ludwig picked the feather up off the floor and headed back into his room. He noticed kit was awake “ah did I vake you up? I apologize if I had, I did not mean to”.

“Unfortunately no, I haven’t been here long, I only know ze vay to ze gym from here” he told her “I’m sorry I can’t be of more help, good night”.

“He has his moments…… unfortunately he can be a bit loud und obnoxious, not to mention he uses ze vord awesome too much, is terribly messy, und can’t seem to keep out of my stuff….” he muttered, remembering the way he found his bag. He blushed and cleared his throat, saying “um sorry about rambling but yes he can be very nice”.

“It is a pleasure to meet you Miva” Ludwig told her “you know you look just like my older brozer, he has vhite hair und red eyes as vell, I bet if he vas here he vould automatically make you his best friend”.

“It is alright, it vas just un accident; I’m sure you didn’t choose to trip” Ludwig said softly as he watched her pick her things up. He gave her a small smile and said “My name is Ludvig, may I know your name?”.

The thumps outside his door had him sitting back up. Slowly he got up and pulled his pistol out from under his pillow, being careful not to wake Kit. He shifted quietly to the door and inched it open to see who was there. The only one there was the little girl he had seen earlier in the gym. With a sigh he set the pistol down on his desk and opened the door wider, stepping out. “Hallo, are you alright?” He asked softly as he crouched down to her height so he wouldn’t freak her out, usually when kids see how big and scary he looked they ended up crying and he really didn’t want two girls crying in one night, especially one that looked like a little clone of his brother cause that would just be really weird for him “It is getting very late, shouldn’t you be in bed?”.

Once Ludwig had Kit settled comfortably he got himself ready for bed. As he settled into his pallet on the floor he thought about his first day at the school for the gifted and talented. If it was any indication of how his first year was going to go then things were only just getting started and were bound to become even more strange. With a sigh he rolled over and let sleep take him, he was sure his day tomorrow would be busy.

“It is fine, I vill just get anozer bed” He said as he rubbed her back.

“No buts” he said, placing his finger over her mouth to halt any protests “it’s fine, please don’t cry over it”.

“Ah um p-please don’t cry” he said awkwardly, it was hard enough to make Feliciano stop crying but now he had to make a girl stop crying; god help him “It is alright, I am fine, zey vill be gone by tomorrow please don’t cry”.

“My name is Ludvig, yes” he said with a nod, sighing “zere isn’t much ve can do but vait for her to vake”.

“I do not, I didn’t even know demons really existed” Ludwig huffed as he tried to wake Kit, pinning her arms down “I alvays assumed ze supernatural vas fictitious but from all zat I have seen I suppose I owe Arzur un apology for zinking he vas crazy; please Kit vake up, it is a dream”.

“I do not know vhy zose men vhere zere but I VILL be having a stern vord vis Francis about his people, ze man attacking Kit vas French” Ludwig said as he resituated himself on his pallet. When Kit started to scream he jumped up and moved over beside her, gently shaking her shoulder “Kit, shhh, you’re alright it’s just a dream”.

Ludwig jumped from his place on the floor and would have grabbed his gun if it hadn’t been under his pillow where he had put it, the same pillow Kit was sleeping on. “Vould you PLEASE not do zat?” he asked as he rubbed his face.

“sure” he said, closing the door and went about making himself a pallet on the floor to sleep on.
