Ludwig sighed when he realized the game pretty much died with everyone wandering off to do who knows what. “Guess I’d better find somezing else to do” he muttered as he stood, though paused to pocket the dog game piece that had been made for him. After that he walked away from the failed attempt at social interaction. “Vell now vhat?” he murmured to himself, he really didn’t feel like continuing reading. He had to wonder if this attempt at getting him to learn social interaction wasn’t failed to be doom from the very start.

He gave mars a small grateful smile and took the game piece, running his fingers over it for a moment then switching out pieces.

Ludwig waved a greeting to Kit and listened as Mars explained the game to her. He gained slightly more understanding after listening to that and he muttered dryly “So basically it’s like being in Amerika”. At being asked if they’d like custom made pieces he thought for a moment then asked “could you make a German Shepherd?”. He was starting to miss having his dogs around.

He nodded in understanding and had chosen the little dog as his piece. He decided to go next and took up the dice. He shook them a moment then let them roll. He got a 2 and 3 so he moved 5 spaces to the reading railroad “You said ve are to buy property?… I suppose I vill buy ze railroad”. He paid the money needed and took the card for his place.

He turned to listen to Haru, nodding as he glanced down at the board “alright… vhat about ze orange und yellow cards? Und ze red und green pieces?”.

Ludwig blinked and stared at Aena in confusion “vhat punishment?”. Was he supposed to be somewhere? He couldn’t remember, he’d been so busy focusing on other things. “I suppose I could play but as I said I do not know how…” Ludwig reminded her, looking around a moment then pulling over a chair to sit down.

“I have never played monopoly before but I have heard of it from a colleague, also I zink meine bruder v’once talked about it… I can’t really remember because I usually ignore vhat he’s saying most of ze time” Ludwig replied as he thought back to the times America had randomly mentioned the game. He blinked in bemusement when Mars asked about a friend who was a girl, was he talking about Hungary? “I really don’t have a friend who is a girl but if you mean Elizabeta she’s actually a colleague of mine, she vas also v’once married to my cousin Roderich…. I’m not certain vhere she has gone off to, ze last I had seen of her vas vhen ve greeted each ozer in class”. He was debating whether or not to ask Aena if he could play the game, his lack of knowledge making him hesitant to do so.

Ludwig got dressed in some of the clothes his brother had packed for him, a pair of black jeans, white shirt, and grey vest with the green tie around his neck and his iron cross settled above it. He was now just wandering around with nothing to do. The only friend he had made here was gone, he didn’t have any work to do, he didn’t have his dogs to take care of, he couldn’t keep his brother out of trouble from here. He supposed he could make those calls he had been meaning to make but he just didn’t feel like talking to any of the other nations. Perhaps he could try doing what he was sent here to do and interact with the others? With a shrug he set out to find someone to interact with. Soon he came upon the small group that was gathered around a board with piles of colorful money. He hesitated a moment then walked up and asked as he looked at the game “hallo, may I ask vhat you are doing?”.

Ludwig had taken the books back to his room and had continued his reading and research until he fell asleep. He ignored all the racket he could faintly hear going on, realizing in this school he’d unfortunately  hear a lot of it considering the students personalities and powers; it would be just like old times it seems though probably slightly more hazardous to his health… maybe. On that note he had to think for a moment to decide which would be more dangerous, his fellow countries during a war or these metahumans and other creatures. Tomorrow he’d place some calls that he had been needing to make and briefly wondered if he should wait till he and Francis were in the same room before chewing the man out about that assassin. -
Ludwig decided that since he didn’t need to be in the class, he couldn’t find Ares anywhere, and there wasn’t really much of anything to do, he’d go to the library and look for more books about social interactions.

“Good bye” he replied, watching her run off before turning back to Haru. “Mr. Haru, just because siblings do not look like each ozer does not mean zey are not family, my bruder und I look nozing alike und yet ve are family” Ludwig informed the giggly man; it was true, he and Gilbert were complete opposites and yet they still cared for each other even if it didn’t seem like it most times.

Ludwig was out for his daily run when he spotted Miwa and the strange giggly teacher Mr. Haru. From where he was it looked almost as if the man was following Miwa around. With a frown Ludwig ran over to her. “Hallo Miva, are you alright? You seem a bit troubled” he said as he stopped near her, glancing back at Haru with an arched eyebrow.

“You seem like you could use some training to build up your stamina, if you vant I could help viz zat” Ludwig said as he soaped up and washed himself off. He did want to help him but he also wanted another reason for them to hang out together.

Ludwig, from his days in the army, was used to sharing a shower with others so it didn’t affect him as much as it did Ares. He listened as he stripped his clothes off and wrapped a towel around his waist, pausing to glance at Ares and say “zat vasnt a qvestion but I like you too”. He headed for the shower area and hung up his towel so it wouldn’t get wet, turning on a shower head and letting the hot water spray down on him.
