Hi everyone! Well, um, before you say, ‘Who are you’ and all that, let me be the first to say that I am Canada. (Y-you know, the biggest land mass in the world second to Russia that’s on top of America?) Well…my actual name is Matthew Williams, but it’s alright if you want to call me by a nickname, like Mattie or…somethin’, hehe. I’m not picky as to whether or not you call me anything of the sort but uhh…please don’t call me by a rediculous name please…I want to get noticed, not be the laughing stock of the world… Ummm…other than that, I’m just here. Talk to me if you’d like, ask me stuff! I’d greatly appreciate it and I-I would love to get to know people… I’m very lonely, unfortunatley…*sigh* At least I have Kumatachiro, my pet polar bear that I love, with me to keep me company. ♥

Please, feel free to role play with me anytime you wish, I don’t mind~. I’ll role play anything, I don’t mind what~. I will do either long literation, or script literation, but I find that long literation is a lot more fun to do because you get to add more details and explain things more. However, if you don’t want to do that, it’s a-ok~. We can do script literation! But umm… W-when it comes to smut/sex role plays, if we do anything like that, can we please not do anything that has to do with /using/ the bathroom /on/ someone? I’m fine with waterworks and such, or at least one kind of waterwork, but please no using the bathroom on someone. That’s a bit… Icky. But otherwise, I’m free and willing to do anything else~! It doesn’t have to be smut either, it can be just a regular ol’ role play~. But just letting you know, I’m not that good at starting role plays because I have poor imagination and all I usually do is: ‘*comes up to your door* HEY DUDE’. ..That was more of an America response, but you get my point. Maybe if you wanna role play, we could come up with an idea first? It’s fun doing things based off movies or in alternate universes, like for example midevial times or maybe late 50s gangsters, you know? Things like that, just something in an alternate universe~! And if we come up with an idea, we can choose who starts~. I’ll be glad to start~! It’s just when it’s on a whim that it’s not that good. With a planned idea I can make something decent. And umm… Just a heads up, I have a tendency to not reply for a long time… It’s not that I don’t want to anymore, it’s just that I forget or I don’t feel like it at the time. But I try to reply when I can~!

I also role play what ever I feel like at the moment. So for instance if I were really happy, I would make Matthew really happy. If I were seriously sad, Matthew would be sad too. (That’s why Matthew is how he is, and why I role play him like this. He’s practically myself. He is myself actually, but he isn’t /exactly/ myself, you know? Doesn’t help that I take /way/ too much pride in being called Canada. Hell I might as well be a Canadian.)

I /really/ love AmeCan, or CanAme if it’s evident, although I love playing Mattie when he’s the Uke because he generally is the Uke~. It’s highly sexy- whoops I’m rambling. But yeah, if AmeCan is not your thing, I’m willing to do any other pairing if you want that has Matthew in it! I mean, it seems interesting considering I’ve never really done any /serious/ pairing role plays, aside from Alfred~. All I’ve ever done is just talk to other people and give them affections like hugs and cheek kisses and nothing more than that, but if you want to make like a pairing thing I’d be cool with that. And it wouldn’t make sense for a Lovino or Yao or something to be an Alfred, eh? Honestly… Also quick heads up, if you’re an Alfred, and I am a Snapped Canada, know that I will hurt you but I refuse to kill you. Quite frankly, I can’t kill an Alfred because I’m so damn attached to him… Speaking of which, I can role play Canada, 2P!Canada, Snapped!Canada if you wish~. And for other characters, I can do Alfred, Francis, England, Veneziano… Just about anyone, if it calls for that.

Anyways~! I guess I can tell you a little bit about Canada, eh?

Well… He’s such a sweetie. He’s nice and caring and he’s shy mostly, although when you get to know him first he seems outgoing and he tries to help a lot of people and he tries his best to be nice to everyone and he tries his best to be a nice person all the time all around. He’s gullible and naïve and he trusts too easy, but that’s just because he can’t see the bad in people. Even if someone were mean to him, hurt him, he still couldn’t… Hate them. He would try to ignore them, yes. He wouldn’t have the guts to tell them to stop (unless it came to a point where he couldn’t stand it or if he’s having a bad day and chews them out), but he doesn’t have the ability to hate someone. (Ironically he has the ability to kill them). Now, if you were mean to anyone that he really loves, expect a hockey stick to the head. Or if he doesn’t have the guts, a good yelling to the face. See the thing is, he is quiet. He hardly ever yells. But if he does yell, and it’s not his wimpy ‘normal talking volume’ kind of yell, he is /loud/. But no one ever makes him that mad and they don’t really mess with anyone he loves as far as he knows, so he has no reason to yell. When he’s really scared, he speaks in a thick French accent. When he was younger, actually, he only knew French. He had to be taught English, so during his learning period, he spoke broken English with a thick accent. Gradually he grew out of the accent and started to form words and sentences until the accent was gone and he could speak English fluently. But the accent still comes around every now and then.
He has… A bit of a past. Certain things happened and certain things were done… It wasn’t nice. He’s gotten over it, but at the time… It was bad. High school wasn’t nice for him, let’s leave it at that. Matthew has manic depression and he’s a little bit bi-polar as well. Sometimes he gets sad for no apperant reason. Sometimes he wants to kill for no apperant reason. Sometimes he just wants to die. He has horrible self esteem and confidence. He has cut himself before, and he has almost suceeded in killing himself on multiple occasions, one of which his brother witnessed. He still does cut himself. Matthew never tells people when he cuts, unless he went so deep he needs to call an ambulance. Sometimes he smokes his ‘happy sticks’ (marijuana) to make himself happy, but he really doesn’t do it that often and if he does he does it alone. (Although, let me tell you, when he’s high, he is a silly little child, and I mean /silly/). Lately he seems to be having a thing for flavored cigarettes, and sometimes he’ll smoke them, but when he’s sad especially he’ll smoke his marijuana and cigarettes together. And when he does that, he just gets chill and very lax. He bought the cigarettes on a whim. And he has tried heroine before. Let’s just hope he won’t do that too often. He has pills for the depression but he doesn’t take them. Call it some sort of pride issue, call it some sort of… Insult issue. But he can’t stand pills.
He really doesn’t mean to be so sad, and he really doesn’t. It just happens… He seems to not be able to escape a bad situation. Something bad seems to always happen to him, not necessarily everyday or often, but throughout his life bad things have happened to him. But after a while he became so used to it that doesn’t phase him too much anymore. He’s so used to a lot of things that it doesn’t phase him too badly, but it still somehow festers in his mind and then he goes to his room and cries for hours against his door. Most of the time if something bad happens he blames himself. He fears being alone all his life, even though most of the time he feels alone. He doesn’t like being ignored but.. He let’s it happen anyways. Just because he doesn’t want to impose on anyone to pay more attention to him. That’s why he always tries to tell people ‘It’s alright, don’t worry’ when really it’s not alright at all. He’s been trying to hide his emotions away and not tell anyone and he tries to deal with them alone. He still does that. But if it’s /that/ bad he ultimately calls someone to just… Tell him they love him. And he’ll be ok.
He loves to give hugs and kisses, if he’s allowed. He’s very affectionate around everyone. He loves Alfred to bits, like… You don’t understand how much he loves him. (They share matching necklaces, Alfred has an ‘M’ for Matthew and Matthew an ‘A’ for Alfred, but that’s my own headcanon.) Alfred has helped him through a lot of stuff, and he’s pretty sure Alfred doesn’t know the amount of gratitude and appreciation that he gives to him. For everything really. Just for giving him a simple text, he gives his appreciation . It could just be a smiley face! Not to mention it makes him very happy when Alfred talks to him, since they don’t necessarily talk too much. Even if it’s for a moment and hours pass before he gets another time to talk, he still gets very happy when he talks to him. Sometimes Matthew even claims himself to ‘be a hero’. And it shows, as he’s always trying to help people who need it. He loves to be around Alfred, he loves to talk to him, he loves to do everything with him, he loves being with him. He’s glad that Alfred was his brother, that he /is/ his brother. And he hopes that Alfred feels the same way too~. He knows that he does, he just… Needs assurance sometimes. He needs assurance for a lot of things. Or maybe he just needs a hug…
Aside from his attatchment to Alfred and his brother Matthew MapleHero Williams, of which I am also the admin of, he has a very big attachment to Mama Arthur. He really does. Not saying he doesn’t love Papa France, no. He loves his entire family. But… He just loves the motherly feel and comfort Arthut gives off. Sometimes Matthew has these relapses, where he thinks he’s a child again. It usually starts by him going a little insane, acting crazy, and then he starts to whine and cry until he snaps into said relapses. He starts to speak French, he begs for his Mama, he begs to go to his childhood home. Sometimes it takes a while for him to snap out of his relapse. You can tell when he’s starting to go back to normal. He starts speaking broken English and loses his accent. Until then, he begs for Mama. That’s how attached he is.
He also loves Kumajiro~. And Arthur and France~. And his daughters and his son~. Hell, he loves everyone~! It’s just those certain people have a little more lovin’~. He loves to clean, it’s quite fun~! He likes to cross-dress, and he has a valid explanation for it, so go on and ask if you’re curious. He loves drawing and painting flowers. He doesn’t really know where his love of flowers came about, but he adores them, and he loves to be amidst them. He has a ‘secret place’ in his back yard, a little past the woods. It’s a field, a wide field surrounded by trees, and it’s full of flowers. He goes there when he feels a little down, or just wants to be outside and feel the breeze. He loves nature, it’s beautiful to him. He loves the rain. To him it’s calming, and the grey clouds are beautiful. He loves all kinds of music too, and he likes to dance and be goofy when he’s alone. Also, he /adores/ maple syrup and pancakes and hockey. Oh god, don’t mess with him in hockey season or when a game’s on. Just don’t.
He doesn’t like to judge people. He’s very open minded about anything, everything, and everyone. It doesn’t matter who or what it is. If you’re hurt, he’ll try to make you feel better. He’ll do everything that he can possibly muster to make it better. Even if he were feeling like shit, he would drop his feelings aside to make you feel better.
Matthew is weak. He’s weak emotionally, and he’s not as strong as most of the other nations, but that doesn’t mean he won’t kick your ass. He won’t go down without a fight, even if you are stronger than him. He’ll do anything to get you away from him, or if the situation calls for it, away from some one else. He’ll claw, he’ll bite, he’ll kick and scream and punch and he’ll resist and struggle to get away or get you away. So don’t underestimate him.
All in all, Matthew really is a nice person. He really will try to be as nice and caring and loving as he possibly can be, and he will try to make it to where you don’t have to do much. He might be manic depressive, but that doesn’t mean he’s /always/ sad. He’s just too sensitive to things so it seems that way. He’s such a sweetie to be around if you got to know him, he really does love and is very tolerant of most people. He will help as many people as he can, and when you get to doing stuff with him, he’s a joy to be around, although he doesn’t think he’s all that great. He likes to meet new people, so please, talk to him~! He won’t bite at all~! He’ll love you and hug you and give you pancakes and everything, so don’t be scared by the description! He’s really really a good person.

I’m sorry if the way I portray Matthew isn’t to your liking. I realize that he’s not the most in character of the Matthew’s out there. I apologize if I spam your News Feed with sad stuff or realitively not happy stuff. But I at least know the basis of my character in the actual anime. I know he’s normally sweet and kind and doesn’t have a loud voice, and I know he would try to help people when he can. It’s just… I tried to make him my own, and maybe I added a little too much and made him different… I pretty much turned him into myself. Haha, that’s not good~. But I like him, and I think some people like him this way as well, so it’s alright~! Once again, thank you for reading and dropping by~. Hopefully we can role play sometime and have fun~. ♥ ))
