“Under the stairs.” He said immediately, quite seriously, not wanting to walk in on one of the girls in the bathroom to be zapped with lightning or cursed forever. Problems of being in a witch school. “Uhh yeah, that’s the reason why I want to take the stairs.” He cleared his throat, “Most definitely.” Fang led the two wolves toward the staircase, ducking under quickly as to not draw attention to themselves. “The powder?” He looked over his shoulder to her, pointing toward the wall. Even after the revealing powder had been sprinkled on it the previous time there was still no distinct signs of anything unusual here, even if someone were to know the door was here.

“Yeah, I would like that..Here,” He took some of the things out of her hands. “Got to make sure we can run okay.” The boy joked, referring to the up-coming ghosts ahead.

“Oh, okay~” She said a bit cheerfully at the thought of returning to the soft duvet and plump pillows strewn across her bed. “Ahem, Partner…” Pyralis’ gruff voice slowed her and Blaise sighed before turning on her heel. “Okay, can’t you go sit on the MCconn’s roof? I highly doubt their view of the crowd is any worse than mine.”

Ms. Vine’s green eyes flicked back and forth across the circle. Goldmyth appeared to be horrified at something that the headmistress could not see but the bear appeared to be calming her down…With a rap song? The woman was trying very hard to keep her face grim and serious but the lyrics were quite entertaining. She schooled her features, however, when the firepath began to fade away, and would leave two ropes of fire leading into the main circle for Goldmyth to continue in when her fear was completely gone.

“Hunt? Really lucky…” Fang felt like something was wrong, but asking would be rude, right? “Yeah, we get stronger and bigger for the ‘big hunt’. Or at least that’s what my grandfather always told me, that back in the old days if food was hard to come by on the full-moon we’d get bigger to be able to have a least a good meal every month.” He scratched the side of his head. “He’s probably 100% wrong, but my dad and his siblings were always allowed to hunt…so unfair.” He moved into her room, and couldn’t keep his gold eyes from flicking around a bit. “Nice room, singular, but has a touch of…you…” That was weird a ‘touch of you’? Nice going, Fangy boy. “I mean, your aura lingers in here. You know, witches can see auras but wolves can sense them as well.” He quickly threw in, trying to change the subject, but when he was answered with a pillow to the face he felt a bit better. “Alright, alright,” He tucked the pillow under his arm only to have a quilt draped over his head. When he tugged the thick blanket off his eyes were shining brightly like he might start a playful fight until they rested on the collar. “Man…I really want a collar like that, herbs strung along it…” He shook his head, tousling his dark hair. “Well, yeah, lets go.”

“As you wish.” Latin began to slither from her tongue, winding around her students and seemingly disconnecting them from the world completely as it should have isolated them. The candles began to flare up higher and higher, blurring the sight of the other across the circle The candle wax circling Goldmyth began to warm, shifting and flowering out around her even though it kept her contained still. “Goldmyth, you have been chosen for your worst fear.” English rang out from Ms. Vine’s lips in what felt like forever and she shifted her glasses. “Try not to panic, however, as these illusions cannot physically harm you…If you are to leave the circle before the fear is gone–warded away by your familiar–the bonding process will be broken and it will be apparent you two are not meant for the merging of auras.” With those words the lit candles’ fire straightened to fiery ropes and stretched over to Goldmyths’ circle of red, before it became a wall of fire blocking her path to the circle. And in front of that wall of fire manifested her worst fear…

Hyper senses were nice when you needed them—when on watch or an enemy attempting a sneak attack…However, being a warrior that slept with ‘one eye open’ had its downfalls of always being on edge even at the slightest noises. Thrusting herself up by her elbows she propped a foot underneath her in the bed to touch her sword’s handle, immediately awake at the sound of a thump on a roof. “I wish it was just a dead bird. A very large dead bird.” She muttered drowsily, and Pyralis rumbled a laugh. “Ahh partner, things are never that simple.” They both felt the undeniable presence of the Hybrid, and Blaise felt guilty that she was glad of her mother throwing one of her ‘you’re always busy’ tantrums to her father, practically forcing the general to take his wife out on a date. Alone. “To the roof!” Shouted Pyralis as she hauled herself off the bed with a yawn, not bothering to put on any shoes as she moved outside to the latter leading up to the roof. She didn’t come up here often, as this roof was a dead time where her family would come up to go star-watching when she was little. The redhead’s hair picked up in the breeze here on the roof, and she let her gold-amber eyes look over the side to the people passing by before shifting them to the silverhead. “Enjoying the view?” She arched a brow, and Pyralis laughed. After thriving off of her newly created fire energy he was feeling much more cheerful it seemed.

“Thanks.” He took her hand, hoisting himself up to his feet before scanning the girls’ room with a grim look. “It’s true, womens’ bathrooms are better.” Fang shook his head, “Lavender I smell? Four mirrors? Okay, I need to get out of here.” The werewolf grinned a bit, hoping to bring  some humor into the situation after what happened in the catacombs. He couldn’t wait to go back. “Your room, right, you keep snacks up there? Nice, nice.” The dark haired boy shoved his hands in his pockets, trying to shake off the jitters of the laughter. “I can feel the wolf all right. During these times of the full moon he wants to hunt desperately.” He sighed, “So usually I suffice with Pringles and red hot gum.” A dark brow rose up as he cocked his head at her, “What do you do to control yourself?”

“B-Bonded? Bonded! Oh, my dears,” She reached over and grabbed one of Goldmyth’s hands and one of the bear’s large paws. “I am so touched, happy, and excited! Please, please, come in.” Genie leaped up and landed gracefully on her bonded’s shoulder with a shower of gold fur, and Ms. Vine stepped aside and back to close the door behind her students. Once inside, with the blind carefully shut, she moved over to a single bookshelf and murmured something under her breath, sliding her fingers across the binds of the books causing them all to glow with ancient letters. With a step back the bookshelf began to slide out of sight to reveal a stone room. “This way, please,”

The room was like a half a circle and had some fancy paned windows that were blurred out along the walls. A large circle in white appeared to be white chalk laid in the middle. “Now…” Ms. Vine pondered, moving over to another shelf in this room. However, instead of just books there was ingredients lined along. “Let’s see…For a witch we’ll need red wax…Since it is Goldmyth, gold dust will be added to that wax..” She plucked things from the shelf, handing them to Genie where she scampered near the circle to put them down. “As for the familiar green wax, and if you wouldn’t mind…” Ms. Vine moved over to Orsin to nick out a small piece of hair from his fur, Genie sneakily hopping on Gold’s shoulder to do the same. “Thank you…and along with that we’ll need-” Eventually two circles had been formed with hot wax quickly drying. A red one and a green one. Around the large white circle was minerals and dried crumpled leaves of some sort, more green wax and red wax candles surrounding it, and outside of that a circle of salt. “The salt is to make sure no pesky demons or other incantations interfere with your bonding.” Ms. Vine opened a worn leather book, and adjusted her glasses. “Goldmyth Commers, please step into the red wax ring…Orsin the Golden Bear, please step into the green wax ring.” She lifted their two similar colored hairs before blowing on them, setting them alight and dancing across the room to where each of them stood, separating to their original owners. Once the subjects and pieces of hair came in contact with their own circle the candles surrounding the chalk one spiked up as one. “This is how it will work. Within this ritual both of you will be unable to use your powers to overcome the obstacle to that center circle. One of you at first, by random, will see a illusion of something you fear the most and the other from the other side of the room must comfort the witch or familiar and return them to reality of the situation to bring them forward into the circle. If you are unable to calm the other before the candles die out, then you are not destined to be bonded.” She cleared her throat, her glasses reflecting off the candlelight. “Shall I begin the spell?”

Ms. Vine’s door to the office slammed open at their singing as she joined in, but missing every word basically. “A singing bear and a singing student. You know, back in the day I could breathe out a tune, too,” Genie, her familiar, looked up at her bonded before giving a panicked look to the students. She jammed her monkey fingers into her ears just as Ms. Vine let out an ear shattering scream, a screeching like it was a bad violinist dragged the bow too lightly…or was that her singing?

Although her flame should have extended through the field, the forcefield only bubbled toward her, swallowing her flame up completely and nipping her finger with a zap of electricity. A sign of warning.

“Wait! Witch girl!” Piper frowned in disliking of that voice. “I have a name, you know.” She growled. “Why don’t you tell me then?” She bit her lip considering. Why should she? He had done nothing good for her, but it was better than being called some anymyous ‘witch girl’. “I’m…I’m Piper.” They stared at each other for a few moments, and for whatever reason those gold eyes of him began to calm her. Enough so for her to ask his name, “And who are you?”

“I’m okay..” Piper said once the room stopped spinning, but turned on her heel to the blue maned wolf. “You! This is the second time you’ve done this to me! This is so…” She looked around the room, her eyes watering. “This is so embarassing.” She looked around the room before turning to jog out.

The Blue maned wolf looked around the room before tearing off after, head low with tail sagging.

“I’m here!” Iorek shouted sliding on all four paws. A brown haired girl did a somersault out of his way and a blond haired boy stepped back without even taking his eyes off his plate. Piper, however, only had time to gasp before the blue blur collided with her, knocking them both on the ground where they slid across the floor–beef and rice showering around them.

Piper smiled at Goldmyth and the Gold bear. “What a cute familiar and student~!” She turned away quickly running over to the dishes of shrimp, pasta, chicken, and other delicious looking foods.

“I’ll come. I’m starved. Dinner should be served in the dining room on the main floor.” She stood up following Goldmyth before scanning at what she wore. “PJs for dinner?”
