“A hobby.” She rose her brows and stroked a orange sweater. Outside the trees were starting to turn yellow as they progressed in the school year, moving farther into October. Soon, the students’ halloween party would commence and shortly after thanksgiving break where students and familiars would have the option to return home for the holidays. “Cool. Takes talent to be that patient.”

“I’ll come with,” Piper murmured, watching as Liv walked off. “H-Hey! Hold on a sec!” She jogged after Goldmyth, slipping in behind Gold. “Animating? You can draw?” She moved over to the closet, digging out some hangers with her clothes strung up on it. “What to wear tomorrow…” She pondered quietly.
~~
Aurora scampered up some stairs, going up up and up. She wanted to see how far up she could go…where did the last floor lie? She counted as she went along.
~~
He lumbered up after her, his mouth humming with growls as he took the rungs of the latter two at a time, and looked up at the wooden ceiling blocking their decent up. “Here.” He put his feet on the bar just below her feet, and knocked the trap door open. After waiting for her to climb up he slammed the door shut behind him, sitting on it.
-
“Who was that?” Piper asked, blowing over Goldmyth’s question completely. “I see you’re making friends….” She grinned darkly.
-
“A bonded…” The blue maned wolf shook himself from his reverie before smirking. “Well. Good luck with that.” He tore off down the hall in a ball of flame again.
Piper shook her head, her face heating up with excitement. “Hey! Go for it, Gold, I’m so proud of you.” She smiled.
-
“Hehe, but you are. It’s okay to be adorable.” She smiled at his cuteness. She straightened herself up. “So, you’re gonna ask him what?” Piper looked over to Goldmyth
-
“Haha! What a show. You know, for a rabbit you put up quite a bit of a fight!” The blue wolf laughed, leaning back on his lower thin legs, showing off the black markings on the front ones. “Irish blood I take it!”
“Bye Mr. Bear~” Piper waved after him, and looked over to Goldmyth. “Well, for once you’ve found a familiar who doesn’t think you’re rude. Is he taken?” She said, before noticing the bunny. “OMG ITS SO CUTE!” She lurched over to it, petting the bunny between hjs ears. “Who’s a good familiar? You are, hunny~”
-
“Uh…Gold-bear, grizzly bear…” The maned wolf gave a wolfish grin. “Oh, forget about witch girl over there. I’m Iorek~ (yur-ick)!” His tail wagged. “Ugh…I’m sorry about him. I have no idea who that familiar is. Probably belongs to the upperclassmen though, he’s so rude.” She stood up, brushing off her bottoms. “Hi, I’m please-don’t-eat-my-hair Piper.” She smiled. “And Liiiv~! I must say I missed you and Gold very much today.”
-
Piper left her final class, to say the least her brain feeling overloaded with information. “Maybe I should have taken at least one study hall.” So caught up in her own problems, the girl almost didn’t even notice the blur of blue light that zoomed passed her. “H-Hey!” She spun with the momentum of whatever had sped through, falling shortly after. “Ugh…Stupid witch-girl getting in my way…” Said a male deep and slightly gruff voice. Piper looked up to find the blue maned wolf standing a few feet away, his fire-lit tail swinging back and forth sending off sparks. “Stupid witch-girl? That’s so rude!” “Well, the shoe fits, too bad it hurts.” Piper felt her face get hot with anger. “Y-Y-You…” She cut off short when she saw Goldmyth…riding a bear…”What’s going on today..?”

Aurora looked around the classroom. “Jeesh, this is all old news to me. I guess the arts really doesn’t change.” She hopped off the stool for the alchemy class to leave the room.
-
“Alright. Let’s go.” Fang flicked his fingers causing golden little flames to alight along them, burning brightly like some sort of extended fire claw. He began to walk in the not too far off direction of the girl’s bathroom entry, four or three tunnels over. “So, you just aren’t interested in witch magic at all-?” His sentence broke off as his brows furrowed together. He stepped away from the ladder leading up to the girls’ room to let his eyes look deep into the darkness. Even with his vision turning black and white he could see nothing, but the laughter was clear. A melancholy, dark, almost bitter laughter surrounded them. Coming from every angle. Sometimes it seemed very far away, and others like the laughter was being blared right into the werewolves’ ear. “Here, you go up first,” he ushered her toward the ladder in a ‘no nonsense’ tone, his body becoming rigid with the discomfort the catacombs brought.

(Classes can be over now-2:30, I believe,)

The blue maned wolf sighed, head low as he padded out the classroom on his thin legs. “Why did you take up that gardening class again, Iorek?” He asked himself chidingly, but felt a bit warm again at the thought of that silver fox with gold eyes similar to his own…dark markings and lovely fluffed out fur. Clearly she too knew her beauty and promptly let him know with a yip, “I don’t go for older guys.” Before sauntering off. “Old.” He scoffed, “For a familiar 23 is pretty much in your prime…” He decided not to add the zero to that 230 with a grin, and lifted his head up. “Her loss~! Haha!” His claws scraped along the hall as he began to run, the tips of his ears and tail catching alight with bright blue fire.

Ms. Vine shook her head. “Genie appears to be unavailable, I’ll just..” Her green eyes looked between the two, and she reached over for a folder before flipping through. “Orsin, yes? The golden bear.” She smiled at his probable confusion. “I overheard you. Yes, your room is quite large and separate from other familiars due to your size. Room (Enter Number Of Desired Room Here). But, when you discover your bonded…” She looked between the two. “You have the option of rooming with them. Now,” She stood up. “Ms. Commers for the rest of today and tomorrow a bracelet will not be available. So please try to control yourself for the remainder of your time.” She smiled.
-
(Familiars take classes with students, no worries.)
~~
“Sure–Oh. You mean just out of the catacombs?” Fang laughed. “We can just do that too. But remember what I told you.” He rotated his arm as far as it could go so he could crack his back and shoulder before turning to smile at her. “Alright, Rea,” He stepped back and out of the warded off area, and when the gold curtain covered him completely he dissapeared from view even though they could see outside, for the most part, the cement walls and ceiling he was simply not there from where she could see.
~~~
“Is everything clear, Ms. Commers?” Ms. Vine asked gently. “It is only temporary until you can control them completely. However, it may take a couple of days to get your object created…” She looked over to the grizzly bear. “Ahhh. New familiars and students everyday. Please wait while I contact Genie…” She closed her eyes for a few moments.
Name: Lonan
Age: Unknown (Long time)
Gender: Male
Creature: Black feathered dragon with purple markings
Appearance: Sharp blue eyes, black leathery skin with dark-purple feathers coating over the wings, head, and light purple tail feathers,
Background: Lonan means “little black-bird” in Ireland where he originally fell from Darkness to. “Darkness” or “Darkous” is a place–a different dimension, almost, that Lonan came from. The dimension consists mostly of mythical creatures and animals with Dark attributes. Lonan always felt as though he was missing something compared to the other creatures of his dimension, but couldn’t begin to understand what it was and for many long years ignored the yearning thinking it was unnatural or some lonesome problem. The usual attributes that might have come to creatures to know they were familiars didn’t occur with him, as a mythical creature who already could speak and have powers–Which is why mythical creatures as familiars are quite rare. One day, however, when he had even surpassed the rate of death without aging a year past his prime he realized something was off about him, and went to the human world to discover what. Here, Lonan learned the concept of familiars, and lurks about the academy in wonder…simply waiting..Abilities: Light magic, Dark magic, Camouflage, Ability to change size, Fire,
Extra: Switching between Light magic and Dark magic too quickly tired him out to the point of passing out, Fire magic is his primary use for attacking larger attacks or defensive magic is where Light and Dark magic comes in. He has a vast amount of knowledge of his world, magic, and mostly darkous magic.
Extra: Lonan is very wise and has this great sense of possibilities. He is open to ideas and is very in-depth with conversation and often is known to quote people or say sayings from his world or this one.
“Yeah, let’s hurry though. I wasn’t kidding about that ghost thing.” He looked around the room, before looking her directly in the eye. “Listen up. I don’t know how to fight spiritual entities and somehow I think we both know brute force isn’t going to work, so, if I say run just run.” He laughed. “But try not to get lost, okay?~We might never find you again.”
-
” Ha! That sounds like Ms. Vine. She’s part of the reason I use fire today.” Fang walked over to the golden thin curtain of light, “Well…” He stuck a hand through cautiously. “Seems like we can get out, if needed. I guess Ms. Vine didn’t expect us to run.” He jerked his body forward, his hand going deeper outside the line of forced field. “Something has my hand! It’s trying to drag me out!” He shouted, before smirking and pulling his hand easily back in. “Just kidding.” He winked.
“Goldmyth, I am sorry but your powers have proven to be something you cannot control under circumstances of slight anger. ‘Emotional magic’ is only truly normal when the anger or emotion is quite severe. I am not saying what you did is wrong or that the teacher was right, and this is not a matter of a punishment but rather of safety.” She said calmly, looking up at Goldmyth. “I will speak with the teacher of their behavior after we are finished here. The item–whatever it may be–to limit your magic will only be required to be worn during class hours, and if it makes you feel better then there are other students that have the same issue as you, and require the same limits.”
~~
“Mundane wolf, huh, so an expert in the field.” He crossed his arms, “Its more of an optional class to take, howling. Most wolves at W.I.T.A knows the basics, but if they wanted to get more in depth they could take howling classes.” -
Ms. Vine rose a brow. “You could not…control your powers?” She sighed, rubbing her temples. “Ehhhh…! I’m sorry Ms. Comm-Goldmyth, if your powers are out of control we’re going to be forced to put limits on them during school hours other than your rocks and minerals class.” She nodded at her descision. “We’ll have to speak with the charm students, and…”
“…A lot different then this place, that’s for sure.” He rolled his shoulders back, and a popping sound came along, “Basically we do combat style, pack positions, history, and controlling ourselves.” He held up five fingers. “Combat, Protection, Self-awareness, Restraint, and the ultimate rule: No one is left behind.”
