“Alright, alright,” She thought of where her father could be on today. Friday. “He should be finishing up his meeting around 7. Its only 5 now. Come on, until then we should keep it at the stables. Unless it needs to be kept somewhere else.” She asked lightly, turning away for them to head toward her house. Blaise was feeling around the conversation, trying to see how heavy a punch this thing weighed.

“I really do. You’re strong willed like her. Any other child, werewolf or not, probably would have just fled the scene and wait around for their parents to come home. But you must had done research to discover that your parents had come here. It was brave of you, Rea.” She handed her another tissue. “I’ll order a W.I.T.A student to come with supplies for two immediately. Now tell me, do you use bondage on the night of the moon? I know every wolf is different.” She asked gently. She needed to figure out this information before the sun fell.

“A gift you say? From who?” She stepped toward the bag, poking it with her finger skeptically like it might wiggle back and forth like a disturbed worm. “If that douche the duke is trying to send gifts to my father to try and make that alliance, tell him to piss off ’cause we’re not interested.”

Blaise was disappointed at the low energy rate in there. Something dead, probably. It still captivated her interest though when the henchman shouted over to her. She squinted, but still didn’t really recognize him. “That depends. What’s in there?” She stood up and pointed to the bag as she moved toward them. She looked pretty rough, and willed Pyralis to spark his fire up to cover the cold that leeched from her wrist, which he did.

Blaise sat, rejuvinating with the energies around her when she overheard the talk of two henchmen coming by holding what appeared to be a potato bag. Their talk piqued her interest, as riches was not something Firekin had interest for. She lashed out a wave of energy, looking for any life energy within the bag. At their talk. “Which Lord do they speak of? You don’t suppose the high boss?” Pyralis chattered nosily and her ear and she flicked him with a nail. “Shuttup.”

“Oh honey!” Ms. Vine sighed, her eyes widening. “I’m so sorry. I hadn’t even thought of that, gah! Your headmistress here is very stupid. Very, very stupid. I’m just trying to throw you down into the catacombs alone, thinking you can handle yourself. But you are a cub, I must remember that.” She gave a small, apologetic smile. “It’s just..your remind me of your mother a lot. Quite the independent girl. Yes, I can ask someone from W.I.T.A to come and spend the full moon with you. Do you have preference of male or female?”

Blaise was glad when she stepped into the city’s opening from the walls, her breath coming quick as relaxation. “Well, we did it. Maybe that hybrid was bluffing.” Blaise shrugged. “She’s also energy deprived. It’s not surprising if she were unable to hold her grasp as firm on us as she once had.” She leaned up against the wall, knowing that here, surrounded by fellow fire-kin not even the hybrid could touch her.

“Think what?” Ms. Vine moved over to a station where coffee was with other hot beverages. She got two packets of mint tea, making their leave soak more quickly and staining the hot water a darker color with magic. The blond picked up the two mugs and brought over packets of sugar and cream,.

Blaise marched along, slowly feeling relief for whatever reason she did not question. The feeling returned to her legs, and she felt like some sort of weight was lifted from her chest. She paused to breathe a little bit, coming over from the exhaustion that had rigged her body without her really knowing it. “You okay, partner?” The sword asked, and Blaise nodded. “Just feeling better, actually. Must be the energy of my kin up there.” She straightened up, for some reason feeling weird. She shook it off, too glad that she was nearly at the cobblestone road that would lead her up into the old town.

“Very well. I understand how it feels to have a hard time with control. Magic is very hard to harness as well.” She stood up slowly with a smile, “However I hadn’t expected you to be ready to go down just yet. The materials have just come, and they’re currently setting up your things down there. So you can’t go down just yet.” She looked around the room. “Herbal tea?”

“The tower is the base of magic. Magic runs through there attracted by ‘things’ I cannot tell you about as it classified from everyone but the elders that run the tower. Most of the magic attracted there is witch and familiar magic however, and the tower also holds records of every witch that has lived. Including you, I take it.” Ms. Vine smiled warmly. “So they will surely have something on your parents there. And yes, the full-moon is tomorrow night, correct? We are nearly finished with your needs in the catacombs.”

Blaise moved along the forest trail back toward home. It wasn’t hard to find, really, when she’d come to this forest just about every day of her life seeking Cold-Ones. Rather than hunting them now she kept a steady pace toward where she knew home was, her body aching with every step she seemed to come farther from the hybrid. And without any adrenaline pumping through her veins wincing every few steps of the way was involuntary. “So, Partner, she makes it seem as though we will not be able return back to base. What’s to happen if we can’t?” Asked Pyralis, choosing his words carefully knowing how agitated she could get when low on energy and in pain. Right now, her flame deep inside was the only thing pushing her forward. Any human-like energy her body had produced was completely wasted and her long-lasting long to rejuvenate flame was being put to use. “I’ll worry about that then.” Blaise muttered through gritted teeth as she moved along. Her flame seemed to pop brighter inside her when she saw the edges of roofs to her town, knowing one of the larger houses belong to the general and his family. Her.

“Oh! Ms. Hartfeld, it was only a suggestion. Perhaps to ring a bell as to if anyone would have taken your parents…here, dear,” She reached across her desk and pushed the box of tissues forward before pulling open a drawer and rummaging through. “However, Ms. Hartfeld you have nothing to fear.” She clunked a mystery candle on her desk before lighting her finger on fire and sharing the flame with the wick. The smell of pine and lavender began to coat the room, mixed with other mysterious fumes. Charm magic. “If they or their familiars have been using their magic we should be able to see how well they are, and possibly some idea of where they are at.” She leaned across the desk to pat the girl’s shoulder. “We should get word back from the tower tonight.”

Ms. Vine smiled at Rea for a moment before lifting her gaze up to the new student with a hood. “I am sorry to hear that…it seems like every year our lovely students are mistreated or have some sort of dark past; part of being in the human world as I take it you were in.” She stood up, mentally calling for Genie wherever that golden monkey had gotten off to. Ms. Vine smiled as Rea wrote, “Understand that here you are not alone with those issues. Many students also have faced hardships and you may be able to relate. If you have issues, teachers and I myself are just about aGlways welcomed to help and talk it through.” Genie, the golden haired monkey, Ms. Vine’s familiar, trotted in the room on all fours to leap on the desk with a grin. “I’ll take you to your room.” She said, rubbing at her golden fur before leaping off the desk and onto the new student’s shoulder where she got herself comfortable. “Ok, what’s your room number?” Ms. Vine smiled at them before returning to Rea and looking over the sheet. “Well that’s very strange. Have you ever considered…” She cleared her throat, before going on delicately, “-that maybe your parents didn’t willingly leave. That maybe, they hadn’t even come to this school?”

“Okay, you two,” The transfiguration teacher walked over and yanked open the snake handled doors. They looked at Piper. “Nothing to fear, dear, it’s just some magic. Now go take your seats at once.”
inside the room, similiar to most nice classrooms in the school there were several long windows that were blurred out for the student’s ‘attention’ needs. Except the light today that filtered through was gray onto the black worn long desks, and instead of brick walls they were cement almost like the inside of some old chapel.

“Uh…Alright..” She looked over her shoulder at Ace, beckoning him forward as she went in.
