“Oryan. That’s an odd name, esnt it? Where do ya come from? Here in Oxford? What college do ya stay at?” Asked Hugo, sniffing the other daemon not unkindly, simply curiously. “I’m Aradia and this is Hugo, or Hugh as I like to call him. He gets into a load of trouble, he does. But yes, where do you come from?”

Clance trotted through the woods that had snow that went up to his ankles. He stopped, letting a paw up and hang in the air. His ears twitched and angled upon listening to the sounds of the woods. His eyes glacial blue seemed to shine brighter with the snow surrounding him. He couldn’t wait until his fur changed to white.

Hugo jumped, his fur standing on end as he’d transitioned into a cat. He whirled around, his tail swinging as he looked at Oryan. “You scared me!” He hissed before sitting down on his rump. “I suppose you could. We all could.” He said looking around to the other daemons. “We could play cat an’ hair or spiders n’ flies.” He said, and Aradia groaned. “My god you act like such a child.” She sighed to her daemon.

Hugo bounded over to the new girl up on the roof with the bat Daemon, “Come on, don’t you want to play? You must be new here, there’s plenty of games to play on the roof.” Aradia sighed, watching her daemon. “Not too far off, though,” She said as though she were an elder sister.

“Do you dislike the name?” She asks pushing the door open leading out the shop and holding it open for him. “With your arrogant attitude I was certain you would be pleased with it.” She moved toward her car, opening the door and leaving it for him before sliding into the seat. “Hello miss. Sir.” Said the man with graying hair, eyeing Jack. “I did not realise you would be having a…playmate over, miss Bonnie. Who is this-?” “Perhaps a future mafia member. I plan to recruit him.” She cut him off, before buckling her seat belt and instructing Jack to do so as well.
-
“I understand. But that witty statement seems to fit you far better than your last name.” She looked out the window, a black convertible pulling up. “Here is our ride. You have your last chance to run from oblivion, Mr. Ecantadora.”
-
“Jack Zoro mi ecantadora. The pleasure is mine, Mr. Ecantadora. I am Bonnie Zimbalti.” She took his hand giving it a shake that was suprisingly firm. “Welcome.”

“You slipped into spanish again. If you continue this I will feel the need to learn the language,” She said collecting her stuff. “And me and my family is often disappointed with the men they bring home. Ask my father or mother, they will surely tell you.” She pulled out her cell phone, dialing a number. “Hello? Yes, it is me. I need you to come to the Starbucks coffee shop downtown. Mhm. Thank you.” She hung up, “Our driver will be here within fifteen minutes.” Her eyes widened. “Oh…What is your name?”
-
“Theft is one thing,” She smiled sweetly, though it did not reach her eyes, “but what of a mafia? I’ll have to consult our Godfather. You will have to go through much hazing. And ultimately are in danger now that I have spoken that one word. You are already entangled with us, see,” She stirred her coffee more. “So I shall lead you to my home at once. I am taking a great risk for you. Do not disappoint.” She said to him, as if doing some grand favor by tying him up with one of the most feared mafia’s in the state.

“Assault? I cannot think possibly why.” She smirked a bit for a moment, but the moment passed just as quickly as it came as if it had never been there. “I have an offer for you; it pays well, I suppose, and the better you get…then maybe I can bump up your rank.” She folded her hands together. “However, I must warn you that what you’re about to get into is very…seclusive, and dangerous. You may not be up for it, which is understandable. The human mind is rather weak.”
-
“I want anything that is on your record–Jay walking, theft, murder.” She said rather calmly still before reaching for her bag and pulling out a tinted bottle of pills. With a rattle she poured a capsule of something blue into her open palm before popping it in her mouth and washing it away with coffee. She tossed the bottle back into her clutch before he could get a better look at it.

“So many new people.” Murmured Hugo quietly, hanging to his human’s leg before shifting into a red panda. He climbed up Aradia’s clothes before curling himself protectively around her neck as if to claim her. “Eck! Hugh, we ent not kids anymore. Unravel yourself.” She tugged at his small paws but he only whined before clinging to her more. “Ugh…” She sighed before dropping her hands and facing the new comer. “Come on up! You’s from a college around here?” She called down to the girl, smiling at the small bat that had kept close to his human. “Daemon’s are so shy when they first meet, ent they?”

“I see,” She said not having much of an opinion on his act of smacking a girl who clearly looked embarassed before running off with a tomato face. “You never answered the criminal record information.” She leaned across the table, looking him with those leaf green eyes that seemed as though she could see into his soul.
-
“You are very friendly.” She said simply, taking her coffee and paying for their beverages. Going over to a table and setting down her clutch on the seat next to her making a clear gesture for him to sit across from her. She stirred her coffee not yet meeting his eyes before taking a long sip. “I assume you come from Mexico or Spain? Tell me, what do you work as? How old are you? Do you have a criminal record? What is your relationship life like?” She spewed out questions, shameless of each one.
