Odysseus glances out the window, seeing the OGA fleet. “Steady, and keep quiet. They might have a telepathic drone aboard. Clear your minds.”
-
“Also, HiFly flew us here. Considering your prior track record… We didn’t want you facing Midzog again on your own. Like it or not, you need all the help that you can get.”
-
“Are you really on our side, Andaluza?” Odysseus’ eyes glow red for a moment. “You would honestly betray your father? Allow us to imprison him… Even kill him?”
-
Odysseus steps off of the ship, glancing at Faye and then raising an eyebrow upon seeing Jack and Andaluza’s scuffle. “Get off of him Jack. We need a plan.”
-
“This plan was not meant to be executed like this. I want to assure you of that. And all I can tell you is that your family is alive. Midzog might be monitoring my signals… And if he knew the truth…well it’s best that he now. He is a fool. A powerful one, and presently the one with the upper hand, but a fool all the same. But you must trust me when I tell you this. The energy harvesters must NOT be damaged. If they do, many people will die. As I said, Omega Radiation is tricky, but I cannot explain over sub-space frequencies. In person only.”
-
Ozymandias pauses, and then says, “I was afraid that you were going to ask that. Midzog, technically, but not even be understands the weapon that he’s building, and my schematics are worthless without a crucial part but… I designed the plan. However, I never that he would use it until I picked up some chatter. Operation Shelley. However, it’s tricky stuff, this Omega Radiation… But I’ll explain more later.”
-
“Authorized what?”
-
Ozymandias whispers in a hushed tone, making sure that the others do not hear. ”Your parents are still alive. Don’t ask me how I know, but I do. They are currently in one of the safest places in the Universe as we speak.”
-
Odysseus walks up behind Andaluza, and sees Faye crying over her lost parents. His eyes glow red, and he walks up beside Andaluza. “Mind if I speak to her briefly? In private?”
-
“I’m fine. Where is everybody?” Odysseus takes a swig from his tea flask, and stumbles out of bed.
-
((Who am I with right now? Sorry for being away. Super busy.))

Odysseus lays in a bed aboard one of the ships, and is caught in a dream, his hands shaking. He has absolutely no control over his body in the dream, and has only half-an-idea of what is going on, as though he were kept is some sort of air-tight booth, but he catches ideas floating into the shattered fog of the tall room filled with marble columns and ghostly chairs around him. Voices echo faintly about. “Do you… Gravity of the situation… Fate… Tampered with… Midzog… Not powerful enough… Ozymandias…you? No… Supervision? No… Deal with the problem… The Nameless One, you, and Calypsa… Into the Dark Straits… Polyphemus.” At the last few words, which for some reason seemed to strike him most of all, Odysseus suddenly jumps up in his bunk, in a cold sweat and his hands shaking. His eyes glow red momentarily, but then fade, and he cannot remember where he is.

Odysseus lands the ship next to Apollo and disembarks. “I’ll help, but we need to talk.” Odysseus pulls HiFly off to the side. “We cannot and must not destroy any more of the Central Energy Harvesters on the planets that have already been harvested. Do you understand? The OGA are pulling back their forces and the harvesters to some central position I can’t identify, but for now we do not have the time to go on a revenge mission or a rescue mission. We need to prepare every world that’s defensible for the oncoming incursion. No more offensive, because this is now purely a defensive game. And Jack and the others need to understand that. I need you on my side to convince them.”
-
Odysseus sends his ship into stealth mode, navigating it towards the large sphere above the pole which is collecting all of the planets’ energy. He analyzes it and then hails the others, glancing at the readings on his monitor. “Oh my god… Whatever you do, don’t destroy the Central Machine, the primary sphere! You’ll kill them all!”
