Odysseus looks at Faye. “You are, but we still have a few hours, and where we are going, that is enough time in the world. Now trust me, and grab my hand.”
-
The Second Gunman bursts through Jack’s door, holding up a chainsaw. “Time to die!”
-
((Sorry. Got busy. Still will be tonight. Are there any direct objections to the gunslinger still being in the base?)) Odysseus looks at Faye. “What are you thinking?” Suddenly, Odysseus turns to the side, a surprised look on his face as he speaks to the air. “Already? Understood… Yes. Understood.” Odysseus turns back to Faye, and says, “Quickly, grab my hand.”

Once all the smoke has poured out, there is still nothing but silence. However, the Gunslinger is not visible within.
-
After three awkward minutes, a small hole blows in the door of the pod, opening it to the base. Smoke flows out of it, and it is silent inside.
-
“At the very least, that’s how we start. But you need to realize one thing. Once we finish this, things will get tricky… The Council…” Odysseus grimaces. “A lot of people are going to die. So Im going to need your help to take out Ozymandias from the inside. You will be my outside agent. He won’t kill you.” Odysseus gazes out the portal of the cell. “Dark days are coming, but darker ones have come before. Let us pray that those days never return. We need to stop Ozymandias before he does something very rash, but if he does it… We lose everything.”

The OGA hoplite sepearates in half, and the half containing Faye pulls away, heading for Ozymandias’ new personal ship, the OGA Vengeance. Odysseus, now seemingly sitting upside down in Faye’s vision after their tumble between ships, coughs and rights himself. “I chose you, because of many reasons. The ones I’ll tell you now is that you, as misguided as it might be, have conviction. You also have some of the strongest morals. While both of these might have been misdirected, you have the potential to become a hero. And, surprisingly, you are the member of our group least like Ozymandias and the OGA. And I’d hate to think that I screwed you up. Every other member of the Keepers thrives off of the same thing as Ozymandias: revenge. It just so happens that one side is good and the other is bad. Coincidence. But you… You can teach them something new. Forgiveness. Because if we don’t learn to forgive. If we don’t learn to forgive, then this war won’t ever end.”

The Gunslinger remains blinded in the pod, and hears them extracting the atmosphere. He stands up, fumbling in his coat and pulling out some spectacles and a flask. He puts on the spectacles, and the tips suddenly release a 100 small needles into the side of his face, uploading into miniature synaptic ports. The spectacles glow, and he is able to see the basic thermal and infrared outlines of his surroundings. He then pulls out the flask, and presses a dial on the side of it. Placing it at the door of the pod, he backs away and conceals himself, as it ticks and counts down.

As he says this, the cell rocks, and begins spinning slightly. “Frak. They’re transferring us.” The OGA ship fires a torpedo at the weakened shields, creating a momentary breach. Faye’s holding cell is then fired through the breach before it closes, and, after tumbling through space, the cell is caught by the larger OGA hoplite.

“Don’t worry, he can’t hear you. Not with that panel closed. They soundproofed the rooms. And yes, it is. That was a stronger connection last time, however. Unfortunately, as Ozymandias grows stronger, I must grow weaker.” Odysseus looks out the nearby portal to space. “Ozymandias is about to make his next move.”
-
((Pandora, are you back on Apollo’s base or the Gunslinger’s ship?))
-
“No, no. I’m real. Your insanity is still an open question, but we should take this one problem at a time. I’m Odysseus. I’m just not really here. Currently, I’m buried deep in Ozymandias’ mental synapses, as he has mutinied my brain. However, I am still able to form strong telepathic bonds. And I have forged such a bond with you. That is how I am here.”
-
“To be precise, I am in your head. Only you (and powerful telepaths who know what they’re looking for) can see me. I’m a projection from myself onto you. Get it?” Odysseus looks around the cell. “They really make these uncomfortable, don’t they?”
-
Odysseus looks unsettled. “Kill who off? I hope that I don’t need to remind you that I’m not Ozymandias.” Odysseus gestures to his bow tie. “I have a superior sense of style to him, as you can see.”

An OGA officer smiles at Faye through a small hole in the side of the spherical holding cell. “Hello. You are getting quite the special treatment, my dear. Being taken straight to Ozymandias himself. But don’t worry, I’ve heard that he’s quite pleasant to his prisoners, before he kills them.” The soldier backs away, closing the panel, as he goes to the others to help seal the hole in the ship, closing the tertiary and auxiliary door. Once he’s gone, an apparition of Odysseus appears next to her, sitting on a nearby bench. “Well, this is awkward…”
