The Gunslinger cocks his head to the side, as if thinking for a moment. He then calmly walks away.

The Gunslinger leaps up, smoking slightly and turning mechanically towards Apollo. “Surrender yourself, and you shall live. Resist, and you shall be destroyed.” At 45 paces away, the Gunslinger hovers his hands above the revolvers in each holster, preparing to draw. ”Your move.”

As Faye’s car falls from the sky, the Gunslinger leaps and summersaults through the air, landing on one knee on the ground and making a small crater. The car hits the ground, flips above him, and lands on its roof. The gunslinger pulls out both revolvers, and approaches the sparking heap.

A sudden loud thud comes from the roof of the Faye’s car. The car shakes, and then the Gunslinger drops further, onto the hood of their car, gripping into the metal and tearing it. Looking into the front window, the Gunslinger shoots into the engines, causing the car to drop from the sky.

Calypsa walks through the streets, approaching the Central Courthouse. She proceeds inside, and down to the inner base-cellar. There, she comes to a long room with thick, frosted glass windows marked room 113 and comes inside. As she comes inside, she hears a pistol cocked behind her. “Hello, Matthew. Been too long.” She smiles, turns around and hugs Matthew once he lowers his weapon. He responds. ‘Hello Calypsa. Same here. Sorry for the gun. Never can be too safe in a case like this. When your team get here?’ “They’re coming.”

As Jack occupies himself in the bathroom, the Second Gunman comes in, his scatter-shot Plutonium-trace rifle strapped across him. He pulls it up, looking through the scope, and positions it downwards. He opens fire, silently calculating the trajectory, and his Jack in the kneecaps. He then proceeds to the stall door, rips it off its hinges using one hand, and drags Jack out, smashing him into a mirror. He says in a monotone drawl, “Dead or alive, you’re coming with me.”

“Rude, yes. Just don’t draw too much attention. We will all meet up at the Central Courthouse. Don’t let anyone think that you’re not a local. One at a time, we go out.” Calypsa lowers the boarding ramp, and waits for who will leave first.

Calypsa comes down to the others, as the autopilot brings them into a loading bay. “Any OGA officers here will be in disguise, so no. If we go looking for them, our cover is blown. Worry about Matt. Besides, we will have worse problems than the OGA down here. Now, everyone go to the wall cabinets. I’ve 3-D printed some outfits for us, so get dressed and blend in. Nothing too clean. These people pride themselves on a ruggedness.” Calypsa pulls some jeans, boots, and a button-up flannel shirt, as well as a large brimmed hat from a nearby panel, and proceeds to put them on in another room. She then comes back out, grabs a revolver from the armory, and waits for the others near the boarding ramp. “Stay armed! A weapon less man is a dead man here!”

    Meanwhile…

Ozymandias watches the replay of Jack’s ship leaving on a viewer screen, far away. He chuckles lightly, his eyes glowing red, and turns around, facing two men, each masked with black bandanas and reflective glasses. They look nearly identical, especially in clothing, with their black combat boots, gray shirts, gray pants, black vests and black cowboy hats, except for two distinctions. One is blonde, with extremely short-cut hair, and is carrying two revolvers in their holsters. The other has long black hair, and is holding an old looking rifle in one hand, while manipulating an antique coin in the other. Both are eerily silent. Ozymandias speaks to them both. “I’ve heard of your services, boys! You’re some of the best! So that’s why I’m going to pay you quite well. You,” Ozymandias says he points to the blonde one, ”The Gunslinger. You’re going to track down and kill Apollo and his associates in Hesperia. And you,” Ozymandias points to the one with black hair. “The Second Gunman, you are going to track down and kill Jack, the one on the screen. 150,000 credits a head.” Ozymandias’s eyes flicker for a moment, wavering in their red intensity. “300… 300,000 credits for every one you bring me back alive. Good luck, boys.” Each gunman turns around, moving simultaneously with the other, and they take off in their separate ships for their targets. ((These gunmen are going to be comically difficult to kill. They’re androids. Think of terminator level invulnerability. It will be fun.))

Calypsa begins the downward descent towards Hesperia’s surface, and calls over the intercom. “Ok everyone. This mission is going to be a bit more unorthodox than the others. We have been called in to protect a man by the name of Matthew Cooper. He’s a lawyer, currently defending the planet’s leader Samul Tyron, a prominent but polarizing member of the planet’s Bengar Clan, accused of murder. Now, while this court case might seem unimportant, it is vital. The opposing clan, Goldus-Kux has OGA sympathizers up the Yin-Yang, meaning if the Bengar Clan is forced of power, we lose the planet. And we can’t afford to lose Hesperia. Well need to blend in, but remember, in certain areas no one will have any qualms in killing you. The suburbs of the Cap-City are notorious for a particularly unsavory brand of justice, and while things have calmed down in the last three decades, we want to avoid them hearing back up. Any questions?”

Calypsa looks at Apollo, and leans back. “Well, that’s unfortunate. Perhaps he’ll come around, once the OGA has killed off everyone he loves… But Jack is a lost cause. But you Apollo. Do you want to save the world? I need you. We need you. And your team. And Jack has one thing wrong. Objectively, I’ve been doing this 1700 years. I do know what it is like. So what do you say?”

Ulysses boards the Petya, and proceeds to the bridge. He proceeds to the primary controls, and mumbles to himself. “Bigger than I am used to… But orders are orders. Now, to build a team…” Ulysses navigates to the UNSC Academy, planning to pick up new recruits.

Calypsa proceeds down the cockpit ladder, and grabs Jack as he walks by, dragging him to the medbay. She then grabs Apollo too and drags them both to the conference room, throwing them into the chairs. She slaps Jack. “Don’t you ever, EVER consider giving up!” she looks at them both, and proceeds to sit at a chair across from the two of them. “We need to talk. God, I hate having to mother you two. You know, I’m getting too old for stuff like this! However, you two need a pep talk, so I’ll oblige. Answer me one question. ONE. Well, for starters.” Calypsa leans in. “Do you want to save the world?”

Calypsa minds the controls after listening to Apollo’s words, and considers her options. She chooses to remain quiet for now, but as they approach the planet, she calls over the intercom, “Ok, everyone. Group meeting in the conference room. Three minutes.” Calypsa turns off the intercom, and moves to a nearby storage panel. She pulls out a thin flexible armor, and places it on. Things could get ugly.

Calypsa steps down the cockpit ladder, and looks annoyedly at the others. “That was pathetic. How you even call yourselves a team anymore, let alone the Keepers, is beyond me. You can’t trust each other, you can’t trust yourselves. And yet you are the only hope that this Universe has. SO GET YOURSELVES IN ORDER! Or I will personally kill any one of you myself for endangering this initiative. From now on, I’m in charge. And right now we have a mission. Apollo, tend to Andaluza. Jack, you’re coming with me.” Calypsa slaps Jack with the back of her hand. “We are going to Hesperia. No doubt you all have heard of it. One of the most savage and technologically refined places in the local clusters. It is a frontier of innovation, and we are going there to defend a man who we need for our cause. So, for the four hour trip there, if you don’t have something nice to say… Then shut the hell up!” Calypsa returns to the cockpit.
