“Before you plan on going, you need to learn all the facts!” Calypsa lowers the landing gear as they approach a small, partially underground runway. “Perhaps once you know everything… Then you’ll decide that it’s best that we bide our time.”
-
“You are not killing Odysseus, I want to make that abundantly clear.” Calypsa jerks the ship to the side, causing Jack to stumble. “And there is one very particular reason why you are not. You don’t have the power.”
-
“I usually keep them for special occasions.” Calypsa straps herself into the pilot’s seat, pulls out a cigar from underneath the dash, and lights it while grabbing the wheel and thrusters. “Like Tuesday’s. Now, let’s try for a safe landing, shall we?”
-
“Would cigars suffice? I keep some under the dashboard in the cockpit. Just try not to use my entire supply.” Calypsa walks to the front of the ship. “We should be arriving any minute now on Chiron. Everyone grab onto something!” The ship rapidly slows, navigating into a close orbit.

Ulysses monitors the ground forces from his post on the orbital satellite Tesla. He drums the control pad, awaiting his orders as he makes sure that all the squads are in the respective positions. He had never expected that Squad Omicron would be so… boring. Not that he wanted in on the ground action; he had no stomach for violence. Still, this was not exactly what Ulysses had expected to be recruited for.

Calypsa stands up and stares at Apollo. “You seem to be quite keen on taking a close look at me, my dear. Well, I do not need an exo-suit to survive as Odysseus does, and I am considerably younger than he is. But didn’t you ever learn that you should never ask a lady her age?”
-
Calypsa smiles slightly. “Yes. Close enough.”
-
Calypsa walks in and says, “To answer your earlier question, Apollo, I’m human… Sort of. I was. But like Odysseus… I have certain gifts. It’s among the perks of working for the physical embodiment of the Universe.” Calypsa kneels near Pandora, offering her some hot chocolate. “We all have darkness in us, Pandora. All we have to do is find the light. And that light usually comes in the form of those who love us. You seem to have many people who care for you here.”
-
Calypsa nods. “Yes, we are heading to Chiron. Shouldn’t be more than 5 hours more. I’m surprised by how well that all of you are taking this…”
-
“Thank you, Apollo, but I’m not hungry. It’s been a difficult day.” Calypsa stares out the window. “Ozymandias will almost undoubtedly kill more…”

Name: Ulysses Laerteson
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Designation Number: 042
Squad: Omicron
Specialty: Strategy/Reconnaissance/RandD
Mental State: In extreme mental control, except in intense situations in which case he is driven by almost bestial instincts.
Childhood Until Training: Ulysses came from a middle-class average family, both his parents being small pioneers in synthetics, but with moderate success. Ulysses from a young age had a high aptitude in scientific endeavors, leading to his seizure.
Personality: At times, Ulysses can be highly condescending towards most people whom he does not know well, having developed a high degree of arrogance that makes him feel secure. In truth, however, over time he learns to take off his armor and let others in.
Introvert/Extrovert: Among his colleagues, Ulysses is a definite introvert, always listening and rarely speaking. However, he is good at socializing when the mission demands, often going over the top to lull others into a false sense of security.
Opinion on the Civil War/Alien War: Ulysses is extremely fascinated by the alien race and secretly wishes to open peace negotiations with them, even if just between a select few humans and the aliens. However, he is ultimately willing to protect his family above all, but only fights for these personal reasons, disgusted for the most part by the UNSC propaganda.

Calypsa glances at the biscuits and giggles lightly. She picks one up, and it is as hard as a rock. She replaces it in the box and continues sipping her coffee.

((Odysseus isn’t with Calypsa?))

Calypsa, after showing Apollo to the dryer, sits back at the table and contemplates the White Tulip Card. “Ozymandias… What has become of you?” She sheds a few tears, sipping her coffee.
