-Jake looked at her with no judgement in his eyes as he spoke softly, “It’s okay, what happened was terrible. Think of it this way… He loved you enough to want to see you again. Even if it was horrible timing.” He knew it wasn’t the best way to put it and really wished Dirk would’ve said something better but he was still in his own issue. He offered her a warm smile as he continued, “Just know, as one of your fathers, my shoulder is always open when you need it.”-

-Jake gently ran his fingers up and down her spine in an attempt to help her feel a little better. He knew it would be best to just be silent and let her get it out. He had an urge to talk but suppressed it, just to make sure she was alright. He may not have been in her life for long, but he had parental urges and he simply had to be sure she was alright. She was his little girl.-

-Jake came up into the Attic and made sure he closed the door behind him as he went over to her and offered his body as a place to let it out. “I know that must be really hard… but he should be still alive in our current time. Also, if that was a doomed one, means there is one out there that didn’t die, or perhaps a lot of him that don’t,” He tried to speak as intelligently as possible, though it didn’t make sense for a lot of hims to survive.-

-Sollux watched her run off but he couldn’t stop staring at the corpse and just held onto it. Jake shook his head and went to go follow her, he knocked on the entrance to the attic and said, “Casi, may I come in?”-

-Armane was bleeding out from several cuts and had blood coming out of his mouth. He was coughing out blood and Sollux held him up a little bit. “They’re… gonna kill… Fenrie…” He wheezed out. Sollux looked appalled but attempted to keep a straight face. Armane then rolled his head over to Casi weakly and offered a really weak smile, “I… wanted to… see you… just…” He hacked up more blood, “one… more…” He stopped breathing and just went limp after the body tensed a bit. Sollux was in a bit of shock from it. The others really didn’t know what to do.-

-Rose nodded and went to go find the shower. Gamzee took off to go find Karkat. Sollux heard Casi and then turned his head back to what he was doing until all heads turned. Jake and John took the front as defensive. Armane had appeared on the ground. Sollux ripped off his eye bandages despite them still bleeding a little and he saw him on the ground and his first reaction was to run over in front of everyone and hover over him protectively. “Keep Casi back!” He yelled at them. They all froze.-

-Karkat went into the guest room and made himself comfy to curl up on the bed. The trolls and humans moved out of her way when they could. Rose turned to her, covered in egg and said, “May I use your shower? Gamzee got me pretty good.” Sollux was talking with the others. Gamzee was still sipping his Faygo but he seemed to have a slightly concerned look. He seemed to want to go check on Karkat but was keeping himself from doing so.-

-Karkat patted himself as dry as he could, his top and a cloak he’d been wearing recently were what he couldn’t get dry. He just took them off and left them there, exposing scars on the troll’s back and chest from battles. He made sure they were hung up properly and then came out to follow her to a guest room. He kept the towel over his shoulders and followed her close. From all he’d been through, he had a lithe build with smooth toned muscle. He made sure to look down a little to watch her and where she’d lead.-

-Karkat thought about it a moment and silently took her hand as he stood up, keeping the towel around him. He smiled weakly at her and said, “Okay… But I am still a bit upset with this. You understand… It’s really against everything we stand for… Though, Feferi has made things better… I don’t really need to hide anymore… Can I just go to a comfier room when I am dry?” He was being as calm as possible.-

-Karkat peeked up at her and said, “He regretted it?” He seemed to perk up a little bit. His eyes almost sparkled up at her like a kitten in a basket. Despite him being a grown troll, he was obviously still rather adorable when a bit sad.-

-Karkat looked at her and let her dab him dryish. He looked at her and said, “No… it’s knowing that he is definitely my descendant and he… I know I am shy of showing my blood color but I am not ashamed of it. I had my insecurities and I dealt with them and I have the greatest friends and matesprit a troll could ask for. To know a descendant… Would be so ashamed as to get his blood ripped out of him and someone else’s blood put in… That is just… It feels so wrong.” He hid his head in his arms.-

-Karkat was about to yell again but the calmness in her tone got to him a bit. He leaned out of the shower to at least unlock the door, it making a click as it did so. He did, though, turn the water on so he had it going over him to hide his red tears. He waited for her to come in, staying curled up in the shower completely drenched.-

-Karkat heard the knock and said, “No! I’m not fuckin in here.” It was quite audible that he was upset, it also seemed like he was shouting loud enough for the entire house to hear. He was curled up in the shower and was not going to move, it seemed.-

-Sollux lead her out of the eggs and then when they were out of that mess, he let her go. “I don’t know where he ran off to though. Perhaps if you know what direction he went, that could help.” He decided to go back to the group then. Karkat had locked himself in the bathroom, literally.-

-Sollux got himself up and tried to use his feet to push the eggs out to the sides so there was a clear path. The group seemed to try to be cleaning up the mess Gamzee made while he was chilling. Sollux made his way back to her and said, “Perhaps someone should speak to Karkat. Gamzee usually should but he’s going to be distracted for a bit. Would you like to give it a try?” He held a hand out to her so he could lead her through the clean part of the floor.-
