Kelly finally finishes unpacking her side of the room. She takes in the posters, her hot pink shag rug, her colorful closet, and her box hidden in the back of her closet behind her suitcases. Kelly smiles as she pulls open the blinds to her room. The gorgeous sun comes through her window and she takes in the beautiful scenery of a beach and lush green trees populating the grounds. I think it’s about time to go meet my classmates! Kelly leaves her room to search for others, she decides to start by going up floors until she finds activity.

As Operation Trebuchet begins the ground assault with a few squads of marines, the Captain of the Viva De La Flora issues a command to a few of her men. On the comms comes a familiar voice. “We are ready to drop the thunder if need be. The Spartans and marines are on the front lines. They are taking out the base outside of the city. We are ready to take advantage of the opportunity and go capture Colonel Watts.” From the Captain, “Roger that, Johnson. You and your three hornets are cleared to commence your part of the operation whenever the attention is directed at the marines and Spartans. We currently have a few Shortswords on standby in case bombing is necessary, though we’d prefer not to do so.” “Got it Captain, Johnson out.” Thoughts of the Captain: I hope everything goes according to plan.

The Director sits back in his seat as the link between him and the 2 members of Alpha Squad is cut. They’ll do alright. There is a knock at his door, and he welcomes into his office the commander of the Office of Naval Intelligence. Morning commander, it’s always a pleasure to see you, but to what do I owe the honor of this surprise visit? The conversation carries on and soon enough the ONI commander slips out of his office. The Director’s stress level has now gone up. Operation Trebuchet will have some difficulties, that’s for sure. The Captain should know how to handle everything thrown at her.

Very well. Make your way to the UNSC Viva De La Flora and report into the captain. She’ll have more for you.

The Viva De La Flora may have a map, but you’ll have to ask the captain of the ship when you meet her. Any other questions?

Good work Spartan 120. The UNSC Solstice Approaches Will meet you above the plant Chiron-12 in the Chiron System. Once you deliver the HVT (High Value Target) then you will proceed to the Eridanus System to drop onto Eridanus and help the marines on the ground with OPERATION: TREBUCHET. Your mission is to find Insurrectionist leader Colonel Robert Watts and deliver him to UNSC forces in the Chiron System. There will be marine support as this operation has a high danger factor due to a Colonel being on the ground. You will dock with the UNSC carrier Viva De La Flora and drop onto the planet using the Orbital Drop Pods (ODP’s) the ODST use. Any questions?

Geralt smiles and yells Thanks! Then tears into the Salami devouring it in a mere 12 seconds. Oh, that was great. How old is that bourbon?

Geralt looks up as Jack speaks to him. Umm, I’m feeling hungry and I’d feel better if I had my guns. I can’t remember much before waking up…

While unpacking, Kelly pulls out a few posters of famous rifles used throughout history, a few being the M1 Garand, the Sturmgewehr 44, the Springfield M1903, and the Mauser C96. After putting the posters up she commences with making her bed with her wood-brown bedding. She then begins to put clothes away in the closet on her side of the room which conveniently has a dresser within it.

Geralt, observing the conversation between Faye and Jack, is amazed. So, he does have a heart after-all. I’m impressed Jack. He’d know how to deal with loss, he had to deal with many members of his team dying. I think one of them was his lover as well. He can’t do any other business, though. His whole life has been a battle. He wouldn’t fit well in normal society. Hell, would any of us? I think Rose might be the one who could fit in the easiest, but the question is whether she’d fit in due to being a spy all this time or because she is genuinely more civil than the rest of us.
